What should his crew name be?

"What were you going to say before we got the call?" I ask.

"Your crew is a go, starting next shift, which means you have two weeks to find your crew. Are you ready Col- or should I say Capt. Evans." he says with a smirk.

"How am I a Captain? I haven't done any test or anything like that." I ask.

"Not sure, my opinion is either someone very high up is helping you behind the scenes or they pulled your record, which the second makes the most sense, even I was surprised, 8 purple hearts, 2 medals of Honor, 1 silver star and a navy cros-." I interrupt Boden as I start to hear a ringing in my hear.

As I am thinking about my skills, Boden says.

"Shit," I look up and see people all over the ground and half of the hospital in ruins.

"Alright, Colt it's now or never," he says while putting the car in park.

I hop out and open the back door letting Ghost and Blitz out.

"COLT!" I hear Boden yell from the other side of the car, I look over and see he is about to toss me a jacket and a helmet.

We start walking in front of the fire trucks as everyone starts to get out.

I see someone running towards us, I remember his face but not his name.

"Chief! Chief! Big explosion, no idea of the cause." the man says.

"Casey are you okay?" Boden asks.

"Y-Yeah I'm fine," Casey responds.

"Triage in that tent, E.R. took it hard," Casey says pointing toward a tent behind us.

"All right, people are gonna be trapped on those Higher floors," Herrmann says while we all assess the damage.

"Okay, you, Otis, and Mouch, y'all get the aerial moving," Boden says.

"On It," Herrmann responds.

"Boden, this couldn't have been an accident," I say as everyone looks at me.

"A bomb?" Casey asks.

I just nod my head and Boden starts to say something.

"The structure's unstable." Boden pauses for a second and says.

"Wheres Dawson?" as soon as Casey heard him his eyes go wide open.

"Oh, God she went inside."

"Dawson's in there?" Kelly asks.

"I think so," Casey responds.

"We'll get her," Kelly says.

"Cruz, Mills, stay back," Boden says.

You did Explosive Ordnance Disposal?" Boden looks at me and asks.

"Yeah, I did."

"What do you think?" Boden asks me.

"Car bombing, uhh, looks just like the Oklahoma City bombing," I respond while the three men are looking at me.

"Just what I thought. Okay, so what do we know?" Boden asks.

"If there was one there will more than likely be a second one somewhere," I say while I look around and see any possible spot for a bomb.

"We're on it." Mills and Cruz say before they start to walk in a random direction, I start to get this weird feeling that the Parking garage on the opposite of the hospital has some part of importance.

*Whistle*

Cruz and Mills turn around and look at me.

"Start there at the northwest Parking garage." they both look at Boden and he nods his head and they turn around and start running the opposite way.

As they were about to pass me I grab the one Boden called Mills.

"Hey take Blitz, when you get inside the Garage tell him to search if something is there he will find it."

"Okay," he says while grabbing a leash out of my hand and starting to run again.

"Blitz go!"

"Here!" I hear Boden say something behind me and I turn around, he tosses me a Radio.

"Thanks!" I say before I start to jog to where the rest of 51 went.

I get closer and can hear a couple of them calling for a girl named Gabby.

I was about to walk to them when I heard a cry to my right, I quickly turn and see a girl no older than 12 under a pile of debris.

I was about to lift some of it off of her when I saw her arm was crushed.

I look around until I see Shay.

"SHAY!" I yell, and wave her over.

She quickly makes her way to me.

"A-Am I gonna die?" I hear the little girl say while crying.

"No are you kidding? Your gonna be perfectly fine." I say while putting a warm smile on my face trying to reassure her.

Shay gets to us and quickly gets down and starts to check the girl.

"What am I looking at she asks."

"Right arm crushed, multiple lacerations all over her body." I say only so that Shay could hear me.

Shay nods and looks back at the girl.

"What's your name?" Shay asks the girl.

"L-Lily." the girl says.

"High Lily my name is Shay and this is Colt, I am going to have to put a splint on your arm, it may hurt."

Lily looks terrified so I try to ease her worries.

"Hey Lily I want you to squeeze my hand when it starts to hurt, the more you squeeze my hand the less you will hurt." I say while Shay carefully wraps something around her arm.

"W-What if it hurts you?"

I start to smile.

"Are you kidding, do you see these guns?" I ask while flexing, Lily starts to smile.

"What guns?" Lily asks with a smile, I put on a fake hurt face.

"I was about to ask the same question." Shay says while smiling with Lily.

"Alright Lily, don't forget to squeeze my hand when it starts to hurt," I say as she nods.

"1. 2. 3."

As soon as Shay said 3 Lily started to grit her teeth and squeeze my hand, and man did she have a strong grip.

"There all done, good job Lily." Shay says.

"Can you take her to the tent?" Shay asks.

"Yep," I say as I pick up Lily and was about to start walking towards the tent when Shay goes to take a step and almost Falls stomach-first on a piece of rebar, before she fell I quickly reached for her and wrapped my arm around her.

"Watch your step." I say.

"Thanks." she responds, and starts walking to someone else that needs help.

I get to the tent and was about to say goodbye to Lily when I heard over the Radio that Blitz found the second bomb.

"Chief we found our second bomb."
