It's been almost 3 years since Ren came to Aldera Junior High though the days spent were uneventful Ren have come to enjoy the peace and quiet. Specifically what Ren enjoys the most is the rooftop, his Teachers and Principal who let him skips class in condition of acing every class.

Bakugo has also been picking a fight with him ever since he always gets second in all activities at PE classes though they never have a confrontation, every student thinks that there's some kind of rivalry between them which is not true because only Bakugo have the spirit of competitiveness while Ren were just lazing around which greatly infuriates Bakugo.

Ren have also become friends with Midoriya, mostly because Midoriya keeps on following him while asking him about body strengthening exercises. It was in one of their PE class that Ren was greatly annoyed by how lame Midoriya is and decided to make Midoriya work on his physique.

"Oi! Midoriya! You're too damn weak!"

"Wu-what?!"

"I said you're too damn weak! You know what, don't go around telling everybody that you want to be a hero despite being quirkless, you're seriously lame."

"Ah I-i'm s-sorry" Midoriya who's one the verge of crying says.

"Don't just say sorry everytime! Instead of being sorry work on improving your physique. Being a hero isn't just about powerful or flashy quirk, being a hero means being strong willed and have a great resolve to back it up. How can you even be a hero if you can't even put an ounce of effort on it? Don't just wish upon your lucky stars but work for it! Being a hero isn't a dream it's just a goal."

"I-i can be a h-hero too right?"

"Ha! This guy! It's like you don't understand anything I said. Complete 10 push-ups first before you go around asking the damn thing!"

"Yes!"

"Go and find yourself a tissue first you look gross. Ugh"

"Un!"

'Seriously Mirio is a much better choice to inherit the One for All instead of this wimp, the only saving grace of Midoriya is he is a strong willed person though even that character aren't so special considering this kind of society heck even Shinso have that quality'.

Ren was catching a few Z's when waiting for the announcement their homeroom teacher will tell them when he woke up by a blast of explosion near the window at the back.

"OI WHAT'S THIS DEKU HUH? 'FOR MY FUTURE HERO NOTES'? WHAT A JOKE! YOU THINK EVERYONE CAN BE A HERO?! HUH?! YOU ARE JUST A TRASH NOBODY WHO DOESN'T EVEN HAVE A QUIRK! WHAT MAKES YOU THINK YOU'LL EVER HAVE A CHANCE?"

Bakugo was spitting curses spontaneously when he noticed that Midoriya's expression was a bit different compared to how he always acted before.

While Bakugo was in a state of confusion he reacts late when Midoriya immediately tackled him on the ground resulting in a small dog fight.

Bakugo quickly reacts to this by using his quirk to blast Midoriya off him and proceeds to kick him on the ground.

Ren was greatly surprised at Midoriya facing his fears and even fought back to Bakugo that he still haven't able to react when Midoriya's getting his ass handed back to him.

'Midoriya actually fought back to Bakugo? Color me impressed!' as I thought while getting up to stop Bakugo from further beating up Midoriya.

I proceeded to walk in between of Midoriya and Bakugo and prevents Bakugo's incoming kick to hit Midoriya with my foot.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING YOU BASTARD?"

"Oh my~ as energetic as ever"

"SHUT UP AND GET OUT OF MY WAY!"

"Haha no can do. How about we stop this drama right now. You were kinda ruining my sacred sleep by how loud you two were going at it." I said as I smirk teasingly.

"YOU BASTARD!"

Bakugo were so infuriated by Ren's remark that he immediately throws a straight right punch to Ren who counters by pivoting towards Bakugo's left side, grabs his forearm then use Bakugo's own force to slam him down the ground right next to Midoriya.

Everyone who were watching were surprised by how Ren easily beat Bakugo in a frontal fight and have no choice but to stay at their place in silent.

Just as Bakugo was about to explode their teacher enters the room to announce the date of the final examination and ask them to present themselves in counseling room after class to discuss their future plans.

"Tsk! Just you wait bastard."

"A wild young master appeared!"

"WHAT D-"

"GET YOURSELVES TO SIT!"

Bakugo unwillingly walk off to his place while glaring to Ren.

"Sigh, let's go Mido-chi."

"Thanks for the save Handa-san" says Midoriya who didn't notice Ren's change of addressing him as he silently laments to his hero notes that had been blasted to smithereens."

'Maybe Midoriya isn't so bad after all.' As Ren walk back to his seat while humming seemingly in a good mood.

Days passed peacefully except for the occasional fighting with Bakugo and Midoriya's persistent asking to train with Ren which he just randomly tells him to do a workout routine that consists of 100 push-ups 100 sit-ups 100 squats and 10 km Run everyday. He also tells him to research about healthy diets to help with his training while being mindful of the fact that his body is not used to rigorous training and should take it slow and let his body adapts slowly.

Midoriya's POV

"I just came back from counseling room to ask about what were your goals are which is not so surprising that you all chose to enroll on a hero school." Said the teacher as he throws the papers where everyone's goal were written up in the air to hype everyone up in which the students didn't disappoint him as they fires off their quirks up in the air.

'Everyone were excited about finally taking their first step to becoming a hero. Well I guess everyone except Handa-San that is usually sleeping. Enough about Handa-San I can finally have a chance to take my first step as a hero! I can do it! I can be like All Might who smiles in the face of danger and give hope to people!'

"Don't lump with these bunch of extras teach!"

"Haha right Bakugo-kun is aiming for the top hero school UA High."

"Of course teach! Where else is fitting for me to take my first step to be a number 1 hero and surpass All Might?"

"Handa-kun is also aiming for UA High well not so surprising there, with his physical strength alone he is guaranteed a pass in UA High."

"Tch! I'll beat that lazy ass bastard!"

Everyone were surprised to hear about Katsuki's choice of school but dismissed it right away as it make sense considering his quirk while having doubts at Ren who haven't shown anyone his quirk except for Izuku.

'Oh no! If the teacher were telling everyone those who decided to go at UA Kacchan will find out! What to do what to do?!'

"Oh! Surprisingly Midoriya-kun is also aiming for UA" Says the teacher as he shook his head helplessly.

Everyone inside the classroom silently look at Izuku who is now covering his head in fear and shame as someone snicker followed by laughs as eventually everyone cracks up by Izuku's wishful actions.

"HAAAAA?! YOU REALLY THINK I CAN BE YOUR EQUAL YOU TRASH?!"

'Haays, I'm dead'

"YOU'RE NOW IGNORING ME HUH YOU BAST-"

"RAMEEEN!"

Everyone were astounded by Ren's shout as they look at him who now sighs as he mutters 'fortunately it's just a dream' and lay down his head to take a nap.

"Ehem! As I was saying there's only a month left for your final examination so you all should be studying now instead of fooling around."

Back to Ren's POV

I woke up by the loud sound of school bell indicating the end of the day. It's only a month away from final exams in which I am fairly excited, not because at the thought of graduating but I remember that this time of the year is when the first episode takes place.

'I need to immediately finish the mask of Rimuru so I can wear it while watching the event unfold.'

"Mew~"

"Ack! I still haven't got the size of your head Sayu-chi we have to wear the same thing when we are going to watch episode 1!"

Sayuri just purred loudly while tilting her head indicating that she doesn't understand what her owner is saying.
