Set Your Heart Ablaze
Days after leaving Asta and Julius behind, Grim took some time to reflect on his battles against the three wizard kings.
'Looks like I can longer unlock new types of attributes by getting hit any longer.' He smiled.
Thinking back on how he was able to endure so much punishment from Princia's attacks, he realized just how strong his body had become over the past 6 months. Not only had it gotten significantly stronger, even his regen and stamina had been enhanced.
"Hmm?" He suddenly looked towards the distance sensing a familiar mana signature.
*Grins*
Cutting through the air and leaving a trail of flames in her wake, Mereoleona charged straight at him with a massive grin plastered across her face.
"GRIIMMMMM!!"

-One Day Later-
After arriving at Mereoleona's volcanic training ground, the two hotheads swapped stories about their battles with their respective wizard kings. But after a bit of catch up here and there, the two could no longer hold back their urges and got into their battle stances.
"Your ass is mine." Grim grinned turning on [Breath of Blue Flames] and letting that fiery blue hue coat his body.
"Oho." Mereoleona grinned back and raised her fists up.
"Then come claim it."
*BOOM!!*
Using their distinctive movement techniques, the two transformed into blurs of blue and orange lights and threw themselves at each other.
*BOOOOM!!*
The two collided creating a massive shockwave that shook the area. Grinning at each other, they coated their hands in blue and orange flame magic and began wailing on the other without so much as flinching.
*BOOM!!*
*BOOM!!*
*BOOM!!*
*BOOM!!*
Smashing into each other and swapping blows with their fire covered fists, the speed and force in which the fists collided together was so devestating that the shockwaves it produced made it sound like hundreds of explosions were going off at once.
*SWOOSH!!*
Dodging past one of Mereoleona's many jabs, a beam of fire magic shot out from her fist shooting past his ear and blowing up a small hill off in the distance.
"Hoh." Grim grinned clenching his fists even harder.
Trading blows with each other, the clashing of such fiery mana seemed to stimulate the volcano as the ground beneath them began to tremble and huge pillars of lava began bursting out from the ground.
*BOOM!!*
Hitting her with a cataclysmic right hook to the face, Mereoleona's body twisted as she was hit hard and was savagely sent flying off into the distance.
"HAAA!" She grinned feeling a numbing sensation spreading out from her cheek.
Unable to hide the smile on her face, she dug her heels into the ground forcibly slowing down her momentum and causing her to skid on the ground.
'NOW THAT'S MORE LIKE IT!!!' She cackled licking the blood from her lips.
Clenching her fists tightly, wisps of mana fire magic began flowing out from every inch of her body and into the air.
"Grim." She called out forcing more and more fire magic out of her pores and recalling their first ever fight.
*Smirks*
"Round 2."
*BOOOOOOOM!!*
Unleashing a disturbing amount of fire magic grand enough to provoke a reaction from nature's mana, Grim was forced to shield his eyes and take a step back as blinding bright orange light poured out of her body and englufed everything in sight.
'This is it!' Grim trembled with excitement. 'THIS IS THE POWER CAPABLE OF RIVALLING A WIZARD KING!!'
Letting loose a earth shaking roar, the orange light bursting out from her body intensified as the words in her grimoire became clearer and clearer-
[Hellfire Incarnate]
*KABOOM!!*
Finally ending with a small explosion, a satisfied Mereoleona stepped forward having now transformed into her [Hellfire Incarnate] form. Glowing from head to toe in a firey orange, wisps of flames continued escaping her body as her body, face and hair all took on the appearance of fire itself.
Watching her step forward, Grim was more dumbfounded by this transformation compared to Conrad's compound form.
"This feeling..."
While both magic knights assimilated their magical attributes into their bodies. The feeling Mereoleona gave him was far greater than Conrad's ever was. It was almost like he was staring at mana itself!
Unable to hold back any longer, his grimoire rose up next to him and shone with a bright bluish white light.
So what if he was facing mana itself! If there was one thing he had learnt from watching Asta. It was that mana didn't equal strength.
Grinning like an idiot and entering into his elf form, he let the bluish white flames swallow him-
[Beast x Flame]
[Breath of the Kitsune]
"Oh?"
Although not as flashy as hers, the physical transformation of the [Kitsune] form was enough to leave Mereoleona feeling impressed.
'That's some good heat.'
Facing each other and grinning like the maniacs that they were, the passive heat radiating off the two of them caused a sharp rise in the temperature.
*BOOM!!* *BOOM!!*
Simultaneously stomping their feet into the ground, the two shot forward at blinding speeds.
*SPLASH!!*
Jumping through one of the lava pillars with a wild smile spread across her face, Mereoleona's fist burned with intense fire magic.
"CALIDUS BRACHIM!!"
*SWOOSH!!*
Watching the burning fist grow larger in his eyes, Grim's centre of gravity suddenly dropped as he slipped beneath the fist and slammed the butt of his sheathed sword straight into the centre of her face.
*BANG!!*
"ARGHHHH!!"
Hitting her with enough force to send her flying backwards and through several lava pillars, he cycled though his spells until he hit [3rd Tail - Fox Trot].
Vanishing from his position and using the passive flames from Mereoelona's [Hellfire Incarnate] as a waypoint, he reappeared behind her with leg pulled back.
*BAANG!!*
"ACKKKK!!"
*FWOOSH!!*
Connecting with the centre of her back and feeling the full weight of her body on his foot, he sent her blasting towards the sky and into the heart of his still active and falling [Burning Sakura] petals. Remembering what he did in his battle against Conrad, he raised his left hand into the air and went-
"Boom."
Snapping his fingers and with smile so wide that it went from ear to ear, he watched as the sky was lit up bluish white explosions.
[3rd Tail - Fox Trot]
Appearing above her falling figure and spinning in the air. He activated [Rightful Ignition] and [Blaze Born] together increasing both his magic power and physical strength before finally hitting her in stomach with a spinning kick that sent her burrowing down through the Earth and straight into an underground lava pit.
*SPLASH!!*
