And like that, another three weeks passed.
"It appears that our time together is about to end." [Lapis]
"I guess so." [Solace]
Today was the last day I would stay on her ship. We were only a mere thirty minutes before passing over my destination.
"How were your studies over the last two months?" [Lapis]
"Pretty good." [Solace]
I gained more and less than I expected. I didn't actually gain many skills due to my lack of knowledge, but many of my skills did increase in level. To name a few, it would be |Analyze|, |Mystic Tongue|, |Night Vision|, |Mimic|, and |Item Box|.

From the looks of it, some of my individual stats went up without my level rising. I was pretty happy until I noticed something.

Not once did I hear the Spirit Guide say anything about it. Perhaps it was a temporary title? …Yeah, I guess not. I was just being delusional.
"Is there anything you'd like to say or do before you go?" [Lapis]
"Hm…" [Solace]
There was quite a lot I wanted to say. However, they were insults that may get me killed.
"Nah. I just want to return to my summoner as soon as I can." [Solace]
"...I see." [Lapis]
She seemed a bit disheartened when I said that.
Reaching into her cleavage, which I tried to avert my eyes from, Lapis pulled out an amulet of some kind.
"Here. Take this." [Lapis]
I stared at the amulet. It looked like an emerald fitted into a silver frame. I wasn't too sure what it was, but it couldn't be that bad.
"What is it?" [Solace]
I did tell myself it couldn't be that bad, but I had to be sure. You can never be too careful with this woman.
"A teleport crystal. Made by yours truly." [Lapis]
"...Why are you giving me this?" [Solace]
"So you can come back at any time. I also work as a scholar, so I can sell you some of my books whenever you come. At a reasonable price of course." [Lapis]
("That's… actually a pretty good deal.") [Solace]
Taking the teleport crystal from her, I felt a burning sensation on my hand.
"Ow!" [Solace]
I dropped the crystal before checking my hand for burns. Surprisingly, there was no sign of injury.
"Lapis? What was that?" [Solace]
"A security check. The teleport crystal now has an imprint of your soul." [Lapis]
"Huh? You're making no sense." [Solace]
I bent over to pick up the teleport crystal, but Lapis pulled me away from it.
"What now?" [Solace]
"Try saying |Elara|." [Lapis]
I was a bit confused by that. Although, I still did it.

Nothing happened upon saying it.
"Look at your hand." [Lapis]
Looking down, I found that the teleport crystal was within the palm of my hand.
"Woah! That's cool!" [Solace]
Glancing back to where the crystal originally was, I was dumbfounded that it had come to me.
"That's really really cool!" [Solace]
Lapis smiled.
"It doesn't take much to impress you does it?" [Lapis]
A beep then sounded within the magic tower, which was an alarm used during my stay.
"It appears that we've arrived." [Lapis]
"Yeah. I'll be seeing you then. …How do I get out of here again?" [Solace]
Lapis waved a hand. A little bit of sparkles fluttered around her and I found myself falling from the sky.
"I'll see you another time, Vincent's disciple." [Lapis]
Her voice echoed through my head as I plummeted.
