15 THAT'S Her Voice?!

Just like the day before, I had continuously activated |Appraisal| over the course of an entire night.

("|Appraisal|!") [Solace]

Looking at my status, I was disappointed by the progress.

("... Seriously? An entire night got me a single levels worth?") [Solace]

There really wasn't much else I could do other than sigh, but I didn't actually have lungs or a mouth to do that.

("Let's… Let's just wake Fina up.") [Solace]

Deciding it was going to be my daily routine, I nudged Fina awake.

"Mn… Solace…?" [Fina]

She sat up groggily, clearly still affected by her drowsiness.

("Yep! It's me!") [Solace]

Twirling through the air, I greeted her with a non-verbal "Good morning".

"Yeah… Good morning…" [Fina]

Lifting her hand slowly, Fina gently rubbed my… head? Body? Considering that I was just a ball of light, I went on saying that I was a floating head.

("Huh… That actually feels pretty good.") [Solace]

Thankfully, she didn't crush me between her palms again. If that were the case, I might've had to rethink my daily schedule.

"Alright. Now that I'm awake, let's get ready." [Fina]

She pumped a fist in the air as if to energize herself and began to set out for school. Quickly clothing herself with her uniform, and packing her belongings, Fina fed me a mana crystal.

"You have gained |Experience|." [Spirit Guide]

("Hm… Now that I think about it, it tastes kind of… mellow?") [Solace]

I really wasn't sure how to describe it. Like a lemon, it was sour, but wasn't at the same time. By the time I had finished pondering about the flavor, Fina was already heading out the door.

("W-wait up!") [Solace]

A while later, we arrived at the school building.

("It's so weird to see it's insides compared to it's outside…") [Solace]

As we walked down the extending hallway, Fina passed by the classes we previously entered.

("Eh? You passed your class!") [Solace]

Unsure of how to notify her, I panicked. Right when I was about to pop up to stop her from continuing, Fina entered a different classroom.

("...I'm so confused.") [Solace]

Unlike the classes from before, there were no desks. It was a simple large room, but there was something strange about it.

("...Why's there random stuff around the walls?") [Solace]

Textbooks, dresses, shoes, and a multitude of random items lined the walls. It was less a classroom, and more a slob's room.

"Good morning, Ms. Wendle." [Fina]

She greeted an old woman with a very intimidating face. I know people's standards may differ from mine, but an old woman that wears a scowl constantly and is pale as a ghost is pretty intimidating to me.

("Is that makeup? Please tell me that's makeup.") [Solace]

"Response: The magician, |Wendle|, is enveloped in a composition creating a white powder. It is composed of mercury, crushed fish scales, wax-" [Spirit Guide]

"Okay, okay! I get it! Don't tell me what it's made of!" [Solace]

"Your opinion will be acknowledged." [Spirit Guide]

("Jeez…") [Solace]

Even though I knew I was the one who asked, it was just not something I wanted to know anymore.

"Good morning, Ms. Fina." [Wendle]

("Oh god. THAT'S her voice?!") [Solace]

Wendle's voice sent chills down my spine. It was like a combination of the raspiest voice imaginable blended together with nails scratching a chalkboard.

("Please… Please don't speak.") [Solace]

As I begged and hoped that Wendle would never speak again, Fina took a short bow and moved into the room.

"Psst! Fina! Over here!" [???]

A familiar voice called over from behind, causing me to turn for a look.

("Leynha?! What's she doing here?") [Solace]

Leyhna's existence was brought to my attention, which also helped me grasp my surroundings. Apparently, my dense skull didn't realize that the only students here were females. Not only that, each one of them had some guy wearing the most generic butler clothing right next to them.

"Leyhna, hush. Class is starting." [Fina]

Just as she said that, Wendle began to speak with her ear torturing voice.

"Welcome to noble etiquette A1. I hope you all fail with grace." [Wendle]
