Navigating my way through the mines, I made sure to keep track of the way back.

Recalling what happened to Fina during that last dungeon run, I didn't want to lose the way back if I had to run.

I saw a goblin in the way, but I quickly disposed of it using |Ashen Arrow|.

During my activities, I came across many goblins. All of which I had killed. Though I didn't gain enough experience to level up, I just killed them thinking of it like pest extermination.

I still wasn't very happy seeing the |Pitiful Disciple| title, but there's nothing I could do about it.

Not going to lie, the exploration experience reminded me of my days playing Dork Souls.

I wasn't mentally ready to see what I would only read in novels. I sprinted in with a racing heart, which beat harder when I saw the corpses of women sprawled on the floor.

Anger pulsated in my heart. I clenched my fist in frustration, and grit my teeth. I contemplated with hatred until I heard a weak voice call out to me.

I turned to a woman leaning against the cavern wall.
"I-I'm here to help!" [Solace]
I rushed over to her side, but was shocked by what I saw.
("This girl…") [Solace]
She had red hair drooping over sunken eyes. She looked at me weakly and spoke to me slowly.
"Please… Kill me." [Weakened Woman]
I was speechless. I've heard about stories where these kinds of situations existed, but I never knew it would ever happen to me.
"I… Don't you want me to take you out of here?" [Solace]
The woman didn't do anything to reply. She only stared at me with a sad look in her eyes.

Breathing deeply, I decided to accept her request.
"I'll try to send you off quickly." [Solace]
As I raised my hand, the woman closed her eyes.

I took her head within an instant. I suddenly found tears streaming down my face, which was something I really didn't expect from myself. Since coming to this world, I felt somewhat emotionless.

That wasn't a very good time for the Spirit Guide to inform me of a level up.

I wasn't sure of what to say. I simply didn't care. I glanced around the cave, but there wasn't any path, nor any living person left.
