2 Ch. 2 Introductions Must Be Made

[Have a good life!]

Now that I think about it, did I just meet God? Or was it just some automated process? Because that felt more like filling out a census form than it did a heavenly dialogue.

Eh, who cares anyway? I sure don't.

...

"It's a boy!" The words rang in my head like church bells.

This is it.

"Don't worry, I'm going to protect you..." It feels so warm. Is this a mother's love?

My heart is beating wildly.

"His name is going to be Mamoru. Saisei Mamoru." Alright then.

I'm going to live a life worth living.

...

It's 14 years since I was born into this world, and I have to say, it's been a boring 14 years..

I blame that on school. I don't like school. I already learned all of this before, anyway. But I don't remember algebra being this hard, though... And history is just-

*sigh* I'll do myself a favor and spare the signature teenage rant for... never. One should never interrupt one's own inner monologue. And I'm technically an old man, too.

Another reason I hate school is because then I have to get along with normies, and normies can go explode. Sure, the bishounen request was fulfilled, and I look like Mika out of Owari no Seraph, but it's kinda hard to "get along" with people if you've got a fanclub staring at your back 24/7. I don't blame them, though. I've got the "air", the white hair, and a green-eyed stare. The boys (and some girls) have long since exploded in jealousy. kek.

Of course, everyone in the world of MHA has to have a quirk. Or at least be able to do some quirk-level shit, I guess. Mine is "Aegis", and it allows me to manifest floating shields and freely move them around a 2 meter radius from my body. To make things simpler, imagine if Magneto had Captain America's shield. The edges are sharp, so by spinning it, I can use them as frisbees of death. The size is also variable, so I can even use them as pizza cutters. How convenient.

It's definitely not as OP as some of the quirks you see in fanfics and I know it's not exactly what I asked for but- WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE'S ALREADY A HERO WITH THAT POWER?! OKAY, IT'S NOT EXACTLY THE SAME BUT STILL-

I'm now rethinking my life decisions and unintentional plagarism. My sighs are weighed down by the gravity of a thousand suns.

...

So that's me. Saisei Mamoru, a 14 year-old pretty boy currently suffering from a slight identity crisis, on his way to take UA's entrance exam. Yay.
