19 Dinner

Later that night, we all went to the specific place I had proposed to have our dinner. At first, I didn't catch the name of the café because it was never my intention of going there to eat, I came here for the first time because I thought it would be a good place to shelter from the rains three years ago.

It has been 3 years already, it's still lively as it was or was it became more bustling than before?

"Andrew, you know how to differentiate between café and restaurant right?"

"Well Lesla, my son is the one who said about this place, but it doesn't wrong to have our dinner at a restaurant."

"I thought I'm going to have some pastries, what a disappointment." Lesla let a sigh knowing that it was a restaurant rather than a café. After knowing that Andrew told her they were going to a café for dinner, she couldn't let go of thinking about pastries.

"Tch what so good about pastries, meat is better." Proj finally started to speak after being silent since we had gathered.

I'm sure that this place was a café, I saw they served coffee and cakes, I'm pretty sure it was small but it became an outstanding restaurant. They really made a lot of profits in 3 years. This goes well beyond music, lighting, and art on the walls. They all were astounded by the grand looking restaurant.

"Dear, can we really afford to pay?" Katelyn showed an uneasy face while carrying a 4 years old Lucas in her arms, she was also surprised that the venue Ezra suggested was a glorious looking restaurant.

"Well looks like we have to find another place, sorry Ezra it seems this restaurant is too much for us."

Just when we were about to take our leaves from here, a woman with braided long brown hair came welcoming us. She was the worker of the restaurant. She must have seen us wandering in front of the restaurant.

"Hello, welcome to the Swiftlight Dine. How can I help you?"

"I'm sorry it's a misunderstanding, we just pass by here."

The woman giggles sweetly while covering her mouth. "You all seems like a new customer, don't worry about the prices here, just the looks only seem luxurious but we still keep the price the same as before."

"Ahem mm if that so, then actually we just pass by here for a dinner, can you help us reserve a table." We all looked toward Andrew as he shamelessly decided to have dinner here right away after knowing that the prices here are not correspondent to its looks.

Well, he's not wrong, everyone would do the same thing.

Then, thanks to that lady kindness for coming out to us, explained everything and reserved us a table, we were able to have our dinner. I thought I had heard that name somewhere, if I was correct it was the name of Elora's family. The girl that I met 3 years ago.

After we had our orders, we talked about a lot of things. Some of the conversations were about Andrew's party journey, some were about magic, dungeons and also about each other past story they want to share.

Interesting, most of it is something decent to listen to. Especially, about the dungeons one. There is a lot of misunderstanding and confusion about the term 'dungeon'. In this Azcrane land, three things are categorised as dungeons.

The first one is a seal placed that is full of monsters and treasures. It was told that ancient people sealed that place because it had become a monster nest and they sealed it to avoid the monsters from getting out. Some said that it was because they want to hide a powerful weapon by secluding the place with monsters.

Well, both of them are acceptable because indeed that places were sealed with a lot of monsters and have powerful artefacts so neither both of the story could be true. That's why the sealed place is called the dungeon.

The second one is a little bit complicated, even I had never encountered it. People said if you travel to a certain place that has a high concentration of distortion mana. The gates to the dungeons will be open. The gates were the portal that will send you straight to the dungeons.

Some said the gates just suddenly appear and the people in the proximity disappeared.

This just plain theory without a concrete explanation. Because there are no ways to get the evidence, normally people who had entered the gates would never come out. Once entered, the gates will disappear. You will never know where will you end up transported to.

Lastly, the third one, the labyrinths and there's only one place in the land Of Azcrane. The Orcages Kingdom. The City of Labyrinths. No one knows how deep the floors of the labyrinths. That place is a living hell. That was the place for real adventurers. The deeper you go down, the dangerous the monsters will be.

Of course, there will be a reward for entering the labyrinths. Those dungeons consisted of a lot of Celestial Mana Crystal. The only high concentrated pure mana crystals are formed in that dungeons. The deeper you go into the more concentrated the crystals. One of them sold for a very high price. It was one way to become richer faster. However, it came with great risks.

Andrew and his party had never been there. They also had never encounter gates. They only twice cleared the sealed dungeons. Nevertheless, they only had cleared the dungeons that had been cleared before by others. That's mean the artefactts there had been taken and only the monsters nest are left by.

"Anyway you are still eager for more don't you, wouldn't you mind giving Katelyn a break?" As Lesla spoke those words Andrew suddenly choked at his drinks.

*cough *cough

"Would you mind keep that kind of conversion down especially in front of the kids here." I clearly understand where this is going. Both Andrew and Katelyn face had turned red. They all laughed at Andrew's reaction. Even Theo and Clara joined them I don't think they really understand what was it all about.

At this point, I don't really know whether it is a good thing but it's clearly was something more than I had wanted. I'm going to have another sibling soon.

Well, I'm grateful for that, but with how things have been going between me and Lucas, I don't even know how am I going to handle another one. After Lucas was born, nothing had improved between me and him.

No, it's clearly not my fault, to begin with. Lucas has been the quiet one. I mean like what do you expect me to do. He doesn't like me and Andrew much, when we hold him he keeps on crying but went fine when Katelyn are the one who's holding him.

Good things that Lucas are not grown fond of Theo and Clara too. I already had failed to become a good brother. I hope that when he grows up it would be easier to get close to him and I wished that my next sibling would be the opposite of Lucas.

"Ahem…So Lesla … about the enrolment for these kids?" My father took a sip of his drink. He changed the topic for the conversation. It was about our enrolment into Velza Academy.

We were currently having our dinner at the moment, Katelyn was busy with Lucas, Proj was having his good time with his meats, Frank and Tyler were also enjoying their meals but with manner, and then the three of us who were also swallowing the remaining foods on our plate.

When we heard what Andrew and Lesla were discussing about the academy, our minds were solely focused on them. We were curious about it. Can we go to the academy together? Apparently, the enrolment fee cost a lot for a single person.

It's impossible to afford to enrol the three of us in the same year. I'm fine if I didn't enrolled in anyway but it doesn't seem right to enroll Theo and Clara but left me out.

"Good news I was able to reduce the fee, bad news it was only for one person, even with my title in the academy, it was still out of reach to plead them to reduce the fee for three people." It was one of the prestigious academy in the Rura Kingdom anyway. Maybe if I have a royal or nobles lineage could we pull it off?

Who knows but it could be true after all behind the curtains. These people always operate these ways.

"If that the case then, it couldn't be helped. I just have to work harder."

"Don't worry there's still plenty of time, I also help you guys by looking for someone willing to sponsor these kids."

After that the outside of the restaurant, the people suddenly became boisterous.

Lesla are the first one to react to that.

"I guess it could be something related to the recent Conference of the Five Kingdoms. Seems like something interesting had happened."

"I guess so? Well, there's nothing much to get from a rumour, eventually, they will state it officially about the information soon." Andrew calmly replied to Lesla.

The Conference of The Five Kingdoms huh? I think I had read about it.

It usually held once every seven years. There are only five kingdoms that were involved with the gathering. The Rura Kingdom, The Cisian Kingdom, The Forestia Kingdom, The Sanao Kingdom and The Demon Kingdom. Apart from this five-kingdom, the others disagreed to be part of the gathering.

The main reason for the establishment of this conference was a prove as attaining peace between the five kingdoms, providing protection and development. Every time the conference has been held at the Forestia Kingdom usually would bring major changes. This was the sixth times ever since the first conference was been held. The last conference was about to get an agreement to have all the Five kingdoms agree on having a teleportation portal that connects all the Five Kingdoms.

It was an invention that was suggested by The Cisian and The Sanao Kingdoms. However, it was only for the use of the nobles and Royal. The most impact that the conference has ever contribute was the suggestion to have a magic tower. That was brought in during the Third Conference. It has been 28 years since the agreement of the establishment of the magic tower.

"huh, I wonder what the Sixth Conference would be about? Hope that it was much better than those useless warp things" Ezra grumbled on that thought.

As I was chewing the last bit of the food on my plates, without realizing everyone at the table looked toward me. I was wondering what is wrong with them? After that, I'm coming to realize that I accidentally had uttered something that should not have been said out loud.

"Ezra, are you having an interest in the conference?" Lesla was surprised to hear that.

"I didn't know your child are this knowledgable especially regarding the conference at his age." Tyler clearly showed in his expression that he didn't expect that coming from me. I didn't expect that too.

"Huh, I didn't know about it either." Andrew seems like didn't care much about that and continued slicing his food into smaller pieces.

"I said it twice now, where did you get this child from?" Proj was trying his best to be surprised too but was completely ignored by others.

"That's because Ezra read a lot of books."

"Yeah, like this many." Theo and Clara explained to them.

"Hohoho so you're just like your mother huh?" lesla smirked in triumph.

"He's already having an interest in books at a very younger age comparing to me." Katelyn seems to be very delighted about that. Sorry Andrew, I had to admitted that this Ezra are more related to his mother.

Nice, that settle the problem, I don't need to explain to them. I should be more careful next time. After that, I was having a lot of uncomfortable time. Ever since then, Proj had been staring at me with an intense look. I don't know what he is trying to do but it seems like he was surely want to know more about me.

After we all had our belly stuffed, we all went to our home.

Regarding the restaurant that we had our dinner there, The Swiftlight House are the one who had sponsored them and turning the restaurant into a grand one. The owner of the restaurant said the young child of the Swiftlight House took a liking to their restaurant.

Back than, was it because of me? No.

When you have the money you can do everything you wanted. I wonder how is she right now?

"Goodnight son, after you have done changing, go to sleep and turn off the light alright?"

I nodded to him as he slowly closed the door. I went straight to my desk first to rearrange the books. I had to admit that the food they served was really good. I haven't eaten something like that for a very long time.

Then, after changing my clothes I went straight to my bed. As Andrew had told me, I turned off the light and slowly begin to close my eyes.
