18 Birthday Party (2)

All of us went to the backyard of the house. There's nothing really special about the backyard anyway, it only an open space with a few trees been planted. Lesla can actually inspect our mana cores in the house but since she planned to do it outside of the house I bet she wants to demonstrate something to us.

Everyone was sitting on the long wooden bench while the three of us sitting cross-legged on the grass.

"Hold up your palm on mine both of you"

Lesla lowered both of her hands and opened her hands widely. Then, we followed her order and places our palms on her hands.

"This will be done quick"

Both of us nodded to her words. There's no problem with the process of inspecting whether the children were developed or not. The problem is to know their affinity or in other words elements that they are found with. To know your affinity is you have to do the try and error method.

"So, what's the result?" Proj asked Lesla about whether our claims are true or false. Why did he have to doubt us so much? Isn't it good if we had developed our mana at the early stage?

Both of my parents were also waiting for an answer from Lesla.

"It's true, they had already developed their mana core. Amazing! To have three children all developed their mana core at the age of 7 is something rare to find." Lesla excited exclaimed it. She even didn't try to hide her excitement.

Well, the truth is both of us had developed our mana at the age of 6, only Theo are the one who's at the age of 7 but it's not something I should tell them.

Andrew jumped in front of his sit before pumping his fist in the air. "I know all along that our son is a genius boy!" then, he pressed on his shoulder onto Proj.

"Wow, that's a good thing. They all going to grow up and become amazing person in the future!"

"That's true Katelyn, they all have a bright future if I'm the one who teaches them."

I knew Lesla would say that, it was something I've also been thinking about that possibility. Since they see us a young prodigy, Lesla would probably grab this chance to make us as her students. Well, she's not that bad to become our teacher.

Well, she's much better than anyone. Lesla Spacek, became the youngest B-Rank Adventurer at the age of 15. A year later, she joined Andrew's party. She was also known among the adventurer for her swordsmanship. At the age of 21, she had risen her rank as A-Rank Adventurer and also she was appointed by the Velza Academy later for her fame as a young dual elemental user.

"But aren't you schedule full with your work as the Velza teacher there?" Katelyn asked after Lesla appointed that she wants to take us as her students. She's a teacher there, would she have the time to teach us? That was probably what Katelyn mean behind her question.

"Don't worry, I'm free during the weekends so during that time I will come and stop by at your house."

Then, Frank and Tyler also joined in that topic. "Then, during the other day, we also glad to teach them about magic too." Andrew and Lesla were shocked to hear that from them.

It's not something bad to get more teacher but why would they shocked, could be that both of them are bad at teaching? If that is then the lesson during the weekends only is already fine. However, that was not the reason.

"But aren't you guys going for another quest?" Andrew questioning them.

Tyler and Spade looked at each other and then turned at Proj but he didn't even look at their glance. "The thing is we already decided to disband the party"

Huh? What? Ezra was confused and shocked hearing that and not just him, the others were in the same state too, only Proj are the only one who seems like he already knows that.

"Huh? But Why?"

"Well the reason is the same as you Andrew, Tyler is going to get married soon and I'm going to be a father, so we had decided to end our journey here"

What? That's a lame reason. Wait but Andrew also stopped becoming an adventurer because of me and because of that, I have more time with him. Wow, but still I can't believe it. Nowadays, seems like people have been valuing their life more. In the past, these people would become fanatic over becoming an adventurer. They would willingly see the wonder of the world than cherishing their life.

Seems like society perceptions had changed. The regulations to become an adventurer has changed. You need to be at the age of 13 years old to register as an adventurer. In the past, there is no such regulation and condition.

Not just that, the number of adventurers also are not as many and lively like in the past. Even the Adventure Guild had improved the structure that made it seems big but inside, there are not that many people.

Indeed, this present, people had started to value their life more.

"Then what about you Proj?" Andrew asked Proj regarding what he will do since the party has been disbanded.

"Becoming an adventurer is my dream, I won't stop until I clear every single dungeon in the Land Of Azcrane." Proj proudly states those words.

Well, at least there are still people like that.

"Pfff you never change" they all laughed at his exclamation. Proj turned away from them with both of his arms crossed. He was serious about that.

Afterwards, Lesla gave a few briefing about Affinity and demonstrate some of her magic to us. Then, before the afternoon we call it a day.

Then, before they went back to their home, Andrew had suggested to them to celebrate the end of their party. He wants them to join dinner with us. However, Andrew had not decided the place yet. While he was trying to think of a better place for the dinner, I help him out by giving a suggestion.

I had been waiting to go there anyway. With that, we had decided on the venue. As for the evening, we went shopping for our new clothes.

But there an off feeling about going around the city today. Everyone seems to be talking about a certain identical hot topic.

I didn't care much about it but I did give attention to that it was about all the noble factions and The Royals of the Rura Kingdom.
