45 Chapter 45 - Elysium Group

Author Note Again: Hello to all of you again! I bring good news that I'm not sure if they are actually good... But whatever!

Now that the Mc has come so far and is even opening his own Group in Shelter, it's time for some original characters to appear! And as I am a money-hungry worker, I decided to create a request on Ko-Fi for those who are interested in having their own characters in the story!

It won't be very expensive, and it's just a symbolic amount. But know that there are more significant options and even the possibility of becoming villains in the story if you pay a little more!

My pocket is happy and I appreciate anyone who decides to donate to this author who works so hard for you all! (Don't consider this begging, please...) (,,◕ ⋏ ◕,,)

Ps: The character will only die if you explicitly ask for it…

Watching all the events unfold, the audience around was shocked by each of Han Sen's actions. He showed no fear, discomfort, or even cared about whatever the other party wanted when confronting him. Some thought it was just courage, but after the tragic end of Liu Feng, who was defeated effortlessly, people understood that Han Sen was more powerful than they had imagined.

'Hyper Gene Art? When did he start practicing something like that? Isn't his family poor?' Son of A Tepig was looking in shock at the sword bent around Liu Feng's leg. Many people might think that cutting a sword is easy with a high level of gene points, but he knew it wasn't.

This lightweight alloy sword was something that could cut mutant beasts, and a strike with it could sever the limbs of someone with mutant gene points as well. Its durability was proven by the Starry Group, and therefore, as the heir to this empire, he knew that effortlessly cutting this sword with the own hands meant that Han Sen had been training with a Hyper Gene Art for a long time. And a very powerful one.

"No matter how much I really want to discuss and spend hours arguing with you about such a useless and childish subject, I have to occupy myself with things that truly concern me." Han Sen no longer had the patience for all this bullshit confrontation. He just wanted to finish organizing his group quickly and go home, or maybe go meet Qin Xuan to ease the longing…

Son of A Ratata clenched his fists and gritted his teeth at Han Sen's indifference, but decided not to show it. He simply smiled, as if he were the winning part of this discussion.

"Do not think that I will make your life easier here in the Sanctuary, Han Sen. This war has already been launched, and for anyone who joins you, there will be a reward for their head. And I have plenty of money to spare, you should already know that." Even though he really wanted to kill this scum who decided to confront him, Son of A Roggenrola was still weakened from the procedure he underwent to recover his leg. His body was too weak, and he would only be ashamed if he decided to fight to the death.

"I suggest you hold your words for a moment, Son of Heaven. The Steel Armor Shelter is not your playground to dictate rules left and right." A powerful female voice came from outside the gates, and all eyes turned to see that it was the beautiful Qin Xuan who had appeared with a group of soldiers, recently returning from a hunt.

They were out doing their own things, or else they would already be here thanks to all this commotion. And when Qin Xuan saw from afar this large gathering of people, she quickened her pace to come over. And as soon as they arrived, they heard the arrogant words of Son of A Stunfisk.

"Do not think that you can get involved in whatever you want, Qin Xuan. These are not your problems, and you have no power here." Son of A Alomomola was clearly too angry to care about showing any respect to the authorities.

"That's where you're mistaken," Qin Xuan chuckled lightly, her gaze briefly meeting Han Sen's before she continued, "This may be a land where the law doesn't hold absolute power, but don't think that the Alliance will allow this absurdity you propose to happen. As the one who decided to continue this futile war and put a bounty on the heads of all members of the newly formed group, any death that occurs in the Steel Armor Shelter will fall on your shoulders, regardless of whether it was your action or not. Your act of provoking war is no longer just against Han Sen, but against the entire Alliance as well. Do you intend to continue with this?"

And she had absolute certainty in what she said. As a representative of the Alliance within the Sanctuaries, the military had the fundamental role of maintaining peace within each Shelter. Because after all, if someone wanted to rule everything with an iron fist and no one could do anything about it, what good would the authority of the Alliance be? How would they punish this tyrant if he never left the Sanctuaries? So, to prevent this from happening, they had the power to execute anyone who displayed such behavior without repercussions.

"Look at this surprise. It seems that I also have the help of the military, huh. It looks like you're going to have to shove this war right up there, Son of I Forgot Your Name Again." Han Sen was feeling that Qin Xuan might be helping him because she liked him, but he couldn't think too highly of himself either. Perhaps his skills were very good, but that was also her role here…

"Very well. Enjoy your victory while you can, Han Sen." Son of A Litwick smiled faintly, the hatred of this humiliation piercing his heart. He didn't blame himself for being arrogant, but blamed others for choosing not to bow down to him. As he walked away, he spoke in a tone only for Han Sen to hear, "But know that this will not last long."

Staying silent in the face of the other party's childish provocations, Han Sen simply chuckled lightly and shook his head in pity. He didn't understand why he had such a deep dislike for this guy since the first time he saw him. Perhaps because he was a person who held grudges over the smallest things? Or because he saw no usefulness in someone of this level other than to play and provoke to improve his own mood.

"Finally forming your own group?" Qin Xuan approached Han Sen and asked with a raised eyebrow. She had already heard the news from Lin Beifeng himself but wanted to confirm with him to know if it was true.

"I need cheap labor to accomplish some things inside the Sanctuary. What's the best way besides forming a group?" Jokingly, he chuckled lightly as he saw her roll her eyes at his response.

"If you need help with anything, I'll be in my office at the Teleportation Station. Have a good day." Saying goodbye to everyone, she left her message for Han Sen and went away with her group.

"Boss, you are truly powerful! Standing up against the Son of Heaven and even getting the Goddess Qin Xuan to help you! What else are you not capable of?" Yuan decided to take the opportunity to flatter Han Sen, as he was genuinely impressed with his actions.

"You wouldn't believe it if I told you..." Han Sen watched as Qin Xuan moved her hips before snapping back to reality and speaking for everyone to hear, "For those who are interested in joining my group, let's go!"

~º~

"How's the progress going?" Han Sen was inside a large room, resembling a regular office but without any technological devices, and there was a significantly large table with chairs for ten people in front of his regular desk. This was his personal office in the Group's Operations Base.

This Operations Base was something that every large group has, and it was just a way to gather people in just one building, which was built with a lot of effort. It wasn't very expensive to build, but certainly complicated. But in the end, it was worth it because the facilities were good and everyone could know that it was there that the group stayed.

"It's going very well. I had already hired some people to start the registrations the way you asked me to. Each person who joins should fit into different units within the Group to facilitate hunting. Altogether, we already have six thousand members, but it's still far from over." Lin Beifeng was reporting to Han Sen on how the registration process was going. He had already been informed of various rules and how the group should be organized.

The organization of the Group was something very simple and easy to understand.

Han Sen was obviously the leader and held absolute command power within the group, being able to do whatever he wanted without needing the majority's vote or anyone else's agreement. This was dangerous in the hands of someone who didn't know how to control themselves, but Han Sen was already used to it.

Lin Beifeng was the Vice-Leader, capable of commanding the troops with Han Sen's permission and also serving as the spokesperson for his decisions, relieving a great deal of his burden in leading a group of thousands of people. And he was only there because he had a lot of money, not because he represented a superior force.

After the two of them, the whole group was divided into four segments that would define where you fit in and a very important role. These would be the groups or units: Delta, Gamma, Beta, and Alpha.

The Delta Group was mostly composed of those who had just entered the Sanctuary of God and had zero combat experience with zero gene points in any of the tiers. They were total beginners who didn't understand how things worked, and people from any background would fit into this group if they were in these conditions, regardless of whether they came from an aristocratic school or mandatory education.

The Gamma Group were the people who had already been involved in a fair amount of fights and had completed the common gene points, starting the search for the primitive gene points. They were the fighters of the group, those who would be more actively involved in various tasks for the group and also who would fit as instructors of the Delta Group if necessary.

The Beta Group was certainly one of the most important, but it was not yet at the top of the chain. Trained for a long time in the battlefields that were the First Sanctuary of God, they were true soldiers with the instinct to kill in their veins, their primitive gene points completely filled, giving them even more strength. Here, the focus would be on maximizing mutant gene points and also where major tasks would be located.

And finally, the most powerful ones, the Alpha Group were those who could command all those below them during a hunt against Sacred Blood beasts. They should have excellent leadership skills as well as extraordinary fighting and hunting abilities. Their mutant gene points did not need to be maximized, as long as they had Sacred-Blood gene points to compensate.

The way Han Sen decided to organize all this was based on successful cases in other groups, located throughout the Shelters in the Sanctuary. So there would be combat training halls for those who wish to learn, kitchens for those who had money and paid for different creature meats to maximize points more easily, mission systems to keep the group running, and an internal market that is more organized and easy to offer exchanges. Basically, he made sure that whoever entered would become a powerful fighter. And his group would also grow with the accumulation of resources and the trading of goods obtained by its members. It was all a big win-win.

After Lin Beifeng left, Han Sen went to the window of his office and saw how bustling it was down there. Everyone was eager to join the group after learning about the numerous opportunities and how everything worked. Knowing that the leader of this new group was someone who stood up against Son of A Bouffalant and had the support of Qin Xuan, everyone felt more enthusiastic about being a part of it.

"A group, huh..." Han Sen saw how everything was going according to plan, smiling a little at what he had accomplished so far. "I'll make sure to take you to the skies."

"Elysium…"
