13 Chapter 13 - New Sacred-Blood Meal
Author Note: Just for general clarification, I'm going to explain in simple words how the Upgrade System works.
If the Upgrade tab is showing this > | Cooking Level 9 = 9000EXP |, when the skill is upgraded, it will not go to Level 10. It will go to Level 9, since previously it was at Level 8. This also applies to new skills such as | Software Engineering Skill Level 1 = 100EXP |, which means that when the user BUYS this upgrade, they will change to Level 1, And the next upgrade would be | Software Engineering Skill Level 2 = 200EXP |, where he will move to Level 2 if he buys it.

"Son of a bitch!" Son of A Potato roared furiously as he realized what had happened. With a black gnu summoned as a mount, he rode wildly towards Han Sen. Behind him, his gang ran on their own mounts to chase the thief, roaring and scolding him.
Han Sen couldn't even hear them, his speed being faster than any mount behind him. The Bloody Assassin was larger than the body it carried, and the strength gained from this transformation was so overwhelming that he could carry the body of the beast and the Sacred-Blood equipment .
Everyone was left speechless; everything happened quickly. Many smiled as they watched the Son of A Carrot and others still chasing Han Sen. Several comments followed, as they could do nothing but watch.
"Shit! Who was that guy? He had the guts to jump into the boiling pot! And what a loot! Apart from the golden axe AND the meat, he won a soul of a sacred blood beast! Can you imagine how much it must be worth?"
"Do you think you could buy a Sacred-Blood Beast Soul just with money?"
"Ha-ha, Son of Heaven must be so crazy. A Sacred-Blood Beast Soul! It would have been his, but it was taken away."
"The arrow he used seemed like a unique Sacred-Blood Beast Soul. And what he received in exchange for such an investment... LOL..."
"I'm just afraid that the Son of Heaven will lose his head."

While Son of A Mushroom was eagerly pursuing, or at least trying to, Qin Xuan and Fist Guy stayed behind, with no intention of following. They had already admitted that today's hunt was a complete failure, and even the Sacred Blood beast meat was lost.
'Who could this person be?' Qin Xuan had already lost sight of them, but knew that whoever stole it was very skillful and prepared. Not to mention powerful, since someone could only shapeshift into this beast if they had Sacred Blood gene points.

Han Sen had already eluded all of them and infiltrated deeply into the forest. Before the ten minutes were up, he had transformed back and used the rocky ground to leave no traces. His current sacred geno points were enough for him to carry the axe with less difficulty than usual.
Regarding the body of the Bloody Killer , that represented a greater difficulty. He had to use all his strength, 100%, to carry the body. After all, at the moment the ten minutes ended, he would be so exhausted that he could easily be attacked by a mosquito and killed. This was the least recommended in the jungle.
When he saw that there was no way they could catch up with him, Han Sen left the body of the Bloody Killer buried near a water passage, using the axe to dig and bury them together. Soon after, he ran back to the area where he was before and picked up his bag, which contained some kitchen utensils. He had no choice but to leave it there so that it wouldn't explode when he shapeshifted into the beast.
In a matter of a few minutes, Han Sen had already returned and was using his Ant Dagger to cut open the Blood Killer's entire body and use as much meat as possible to feed himself. As the body was very large, he spent at least an hour in this activity before he lit some fires and started cooking everything. He thought about making a hole in the ground to cook, but that would take too long. He also spent 900 EXP to raise his Cooking Skill to Level 9. This way, he would make the most of all the meat.
Paying attention to his surroundings, he quickly cooked everything and ate while doing things. Every time a beast approached, he killed it immediately. As the ruler of the mountainous area, the Bloody Killer would not share his area with other powerful beasts. This, along with the difficult access to the area, gave Han Sen the freedom to cook without worry.

Han Sen spent about 5 hours just there, eating everything. He even had to use [Devourer Sutra] to eat all the meat today. His eating capacity increased even more after he completed the primitive gene points. But it was definitely worth it when he looked at his stats and saw what was there.

"Now that's power, huh..." Han Sen lay on the ground, completely full and tired from eating. Still, the new dose of power he received was incredible. He missed these power increases he felt in his past life. That millennium he spent in the void messed with his head so much that anything seemed new.
After some rest, Han Sen got up and started to organize himself. Now that he had this powerful soul beast, which he really didn't intend to part with, the next steps would be smoother. He could finally start hunting mutant beasts and slowly infiltrate the ranks that made up the gangs.
"I had about 2850 EXP. My Throwing Skills weren't good enough to kill that way, so I leveled it up and spent 300 EXP just to be safe. Then, I spent 1000 EXP to upgrade Bloody Killer to Full Sacred-Blood Tier and successfully escape, and another 900 EXP to level up my cooking skills, which was totally worth it. I had a little left, but let's see what I can do with it..." He honestly didn't regret his purchase.
The normal Bloody Killer that Han Sen had won was indeed very strong and powerful. But now that it has been successfully upgraded to a more powerful version of itself, it is unbeatable in the Sacred-Blood tier. Its muscles have become more powerful, its height has increased, and even its battle intent leaks naturally. It is a complete transformation, almost like it is the senior compared to before. "Wow, it seems like I really gained a new skill?" Han Sen looked at the latest possible upgrade, the Stealth Skill, and thought about how he obtained it. It could be the fact that he spent a lot of time hiding and was able to do it successfully today, "I think I'm getting to the core of how to obtain skills..."
After thinking for a while, he remembered Son of A Hyena's anger in the book and how he simply decided to surround the Steel Armor Shelter to look for the culprit. He needed to go back and he had to do it in the best way possible.
So, there was no choice but to spend all the points on Stealth Skill, just to be safe.

"I think I did the best I could for now." Knowing that most of the points were spent more on necessity, Han Sen didn't care much. It was not like there were other things to improve.
Furthermore, he wanted to raise his cooking level to the possible maximum level. His cooking was good enough to enchant anyone for sure. That would be his priority for a period of time, before he could start hunting mutant beasts.
"Let's go then!" He stood up and stretched his whole body after such a busy day. Knowing that today would be a tighter day for security in the shelter, he decided to stay a few more days in nature before returning there.

Exiting the forest, Han Sen was drenched in blood and dirt, looking like he hadn't slept in days. Approaching the Steel Armor Shelter, he soon reached the human barrier, which prevented anyone from passing without showing their beast souls.
As he arrived at one of Son of A Tire's gang members, he was stopped and questioned by the man.
"Friend, we need to check some things before you can pass. Show me all of your Beast Souls." All members of the rich kid's gang were ill-natured individuals, but they rarely disrespected superior strength and will. Seeing how Han Sen was looking like a beast in nature, it was obvious that he was having a hard time surviving out there.
"Ah, sure. You can check." Han Sen yawned and reached out, displaying seven different Beast Souls. Four of them were ordinary and the other three were primitive. They were quite weak species and very famous in the Shelter for being easy to hunt and therefore obtain.
"Sure, you may pass." The man looked at the large quantity of Beast Souls and nodded, seeming satisfied. For a poor novice, it was already very good to have so many. And if he were like one of those rich boys, getting so dirty with blood and dust would be a blasphemy.
As soon as Han Sen passed through the barrier, Luo Tianyang caught a glimpse of him out of the corner of his eye. But since he wasn't sure of what he saw, he abandoned his guard post and entered the Shelter, in search of the wretch who humiliated him.
"Damn, where is he?!" Not seeing him anywhere, Luo Tianyang felt his anger rising. To his relief, he saw that bloody figure again and he was entering an alley. He immediately ran towards Han Sen.
The only problem was that, at the moment he reached the entrance of the alley, which was no more than a second later, all he saw was darkness and the other side with people moving.
"What the hell!?" Banging the wall in anger, he complained and left, swearing his revenge later.
A figure then emerged from the shadows and its white teeth were the only thing that could be seen.
"This Stealth Skill is really interesting, isn't it..."
