11 Chapter 10

The day today's sunny day so I was invited by my uncle to go out with Anastasia. Anastasia and I became somewhat close after a few days of meeting each other and today we're going to shop for stuff! We do have some knights guarding us but only two of them can be seen behind us while the other's hiding somewhere.

I'm currently holding Anastasia's soft and small hand. She was looking down and embarrassed around people so I am holding her hand as a comfort and to let her know that she's not alone here and that she had me as an older brother or sister "Where do you want to go first Anastasia?"

Anastasia pondered for a while and looked around then pointed at the toy shop "You want to go there first?". She gave me a slight yet cute smile as she nods.

"Okay then! Let's gooo!" Opening the door knob of the toy store. Inside the store it was quite wide, it is not as big as the one inside the mall in my past life but this one's still a big one. There are lots of shelves filled with toys.

Anastasia's eyes sparkled as she looked at the toys in front of her vision. She started to run while holding my hand, I was surprised at first but I just followed her and chuckled gently.

I wanted to tell her not to run but she seems to be having a lot of fun and I don't wanna ruin that so I just followed her around. After running and walking around the shop, I looked at Anastasia with a smile on my face "So have you decided on what you want to get yet?"

Anastasia bit her lower lip while looking down, showing that she's really struggling on what she wants. She shook her head "Not yet..."

"Hmm...How about we buy everything you wanted?" I asked blinking twice but Anastasia shook her head as if flustered.

"No brother Oliver!...Father said that people shouldn't be greedy and I know I can buy more but still...I think buying one for myself is enough and another one for brother Oliver!" I paused for a moment because of how this child thinks. I smiled and gently patted her head with my other hand, I'm a head taller than Anastasia so it's quite easy for me to pat her head.

"Sister is such a good kid...Hmm what if we do it this way? I don't really want toys at the moment and we can both get one each right? Go pick another toy and consider it as my gift" I saw the hesitation on Anastasia's face but I chuckled softly.

She really is a kind child "How about this...Accept that as a gift and do me a favor in return, will that be good?" Anastasia slightly tilted her head to the side while making a thinking gesture and blinked twice...This little sister of mine...She's so cuteee!!

I calmed myself down and gave Anastasia a warm smile "In exchange for the gift I'll give you, accompany me next weekend to buy a book! And I heard there's this newly opened coffee shop where they sell delicious sweets, come and visit it with me okay?"

Anastasia's eyes sparkled and nodded "Okay brother Oliver!" I patted her head as Anastasia smiled cutely, she kind of reminds me of a bunny. It seems like Anastasia's slowly opening to me which makes me a lot happier.

Anastasia bought a cute white bunny stuff toy with a cute pink ribbon on top of it's head and she also bought a stuffed tiger cub that's wearing a red ribbon on it's neck.

We're still holding each other's hand so I carried the tiger cub for Anastasia on my other hand while she's carrying the bunny "These toys are cute, especially the bunny one"

Anastasia nodded joyfully "This bunny is me while the cub is brother Oliver! I chose the tiger cub because it kind of reminds me of you" I thought for a moment.

"Hey sister...Do you find brother Oliver scary that I reminded you of a tiger?" I pretended to look sadly that immediately made Anastasia flustered "No!"

Anastasia looked down in embarrassment "At first I thought brother was scary but I was wrong..." She looked up to me while still kind of embarrassed.

"Brother Oliver is very kind and I'm happy that you are my brother! The tiger just reminds me of you because it's smile looks cute just like brother Oliver's..." Anastasia looked down in embarrassment. For some reason, what Anastasia told me touched my heart...I felt warm in my chest that I couldn't help but give Anastasia a sincere smile.

I patted Anastasia's head "Thank you Anastasia. I also think that you're a very kind and cute child, I'm really happy to hear your words for me and I'm also glad that you became my sister" I let go of Anastasia's hand and hugged her "Im so lucky to have a cute little sister like youu huhu~"

Anastasia was shocked for a moment but she smiled as she hugged me back, the hug lasted for a while then we both decided to let go and go to our next destination which is the clothing shop.

As we enter the shop we saw Aeryn talking to the clerk with a smile. She turned to look at us and approached us "It's been a while sir Oliver" She chuckled then looked at my hand holding Anastasia's hand then slowly looked up to see Anastasia eye to eye but Anastasia let go of my hand and hid behind my back and tugged my clothes.

Aeryn chuckled "If sir Oliver doesn't mind, do you care on introducing your cute companion" I blinked twice for a moment and smiled nodding.

"Lady Aeryn, this cute child is Anastasia, My cousin and a little sister of mine. She's quite shy around people so I hope you don't mind" I smiled as I slightly turned around and patted Anastasia's head gently.

Aeryn made an "Oh" sound and smiled a little brighter "So she was your cousin then! She's very cute so I don't really mind" Aeryn chuckled softly. "Hello Anastasia, I'm Aeryn Chrysalis but feel free to call me sister Aeryn" Anastasia slightly peaked and gave a small nod.

"Why don't we choose clothes together? I've never tried shopping with friends before, what do you think?" Aeryn suggested while slightly leaning down to the side and looking up to me with a smile.

I turned around and looked at Anastasia "Lady Aeryn wanted to shop with us, will you be okay with it?" Anastasia think for a moment and nodded in agreement with a smile on her face. Seriously...This little sister of mine's very cute. I sighed in my heart and patted Anastasia's head with a soft smile on my face.

Aeryn clapped her hand which made me looked at her "Great! Let's start looking around for clothes shall we?" Aeryn chuckled.

I nodded and we all started to look around as I kept on holding Anastasia's hand. Looking around, there's a few dresses which I found to be cute for Anastasia "I think this looks good on you, why don't you give it a try sister?" Anastasia's eyes sparkled and her head nodded like a chicken which is really cute.

Anastasia left me the bunny stuffed toy to try out the clothes I suggested to her. I smiled as I watch her ran like a bunny carrying her dress.

"You have such a good taste sir Oliver" I looked at Aeryn who's suddenly by my side. "Really?" I asked her then she nodded with a smile "Of course, Do I look like a liar to you? If yes that would make me sad" Aeryn pretended to act as if she's sad. I find her quite amusing so I slightly laughed.

Aeryn then stopped acting and smiled "Say sir Oliver..." She slowly approached me until there's only half a meter distance between us. "Why don't you pick a dress for me and I'll pick a suit for you. How does that sound to you?"

I tried to think for a moment, There's really nothing wrong with it so I agreed. We looked around for each others' clothes then I picked a green dress with golden lining design.

"Here, I think green kinda suits your blonde hair. What do you think?" I asked as Aeryn handed me a white and golden brocade suit paired with white pants, I think it looks good and clean.

Aeryn looked at the dress and smiled "I think it looks beautiful but you said it suits my hair? Hmm...I think red suits me better, don't you think so?" There's a slight smirk in the childish face of Aeryn.

I tried to think what to answer for a moment. Is red her favourite color or something? I imagine Aeryn having a red ribbon on her head. Well I think it kinda suits her "Well if lady Aeryn likes red, then I think it would suit you? Do you want me to look for a red dress for you?"

Aeryn was quiet for a moment then she hugged to the dress "No need. I like this one so I'll buy this, thank you hehe"

After a few more moments, Anastasia finally finished wearing the dress. I rushed to hug Anastasia and lifted her up in the air "Wahhh~ My little sister is so cute! I'm gonna cry huhu~".

Anastasia who was lifted was very embarrassed and her face was very red "brother Oliver...Calm down..." I hugged Anastasia once again, she's just too precious and cute!

We finished buying our clothes and when we're about to go out to go back home, Aeryn stopped us for a moment "Do you guys have any plans next weekend?"

I nodded as I promised Anastasia earlier "Well Anastasia and I will go to the bookstore next weekend and we will also go to the coffee shop that I've been hearing recently".

"Ohhh! Perfect timing! Meredith, Alexandria, Alejandro's planning on going there too! Do you guys want to join us after going to the bookstore?" Anastasia's shy and scared around new people but I think it'll also probably be good for her to make new friends.

"What do you think sister? Do you want to join them?" Anastasia who was kinda flustered when I asked her pondered for a moment and nodded "I think it'll be fun and brother will also have fun so I'm okay with it!"

I blinked twice "Are you sure? It's okay if you don't want to. For me being with my cute little sister is enough for me" Anastasia shook her head and looked at me with resolute eyes "It's okay brother Oliver! Let's join them" such look in my little sister's eyes, how can i refuse?

I smiled at Aeryn with a nod "We'll go". Aeryn smiled and waved as she slowly walks away "Okay then and wear the clothes I picked for you okay??"

"Alright" I smiled and decided to go back home with Anastasia.

What do you guys think of the chapter? I kinda liked writing the bonding between Oliver and Anastasia, it just feels sweet and cute seeing them bond together like real siblings.
