5 The island of Crete

A/N: Just to let you guys know, there are different pantheons in this fanfic

Rhea POV:

It had been a few weeks, since my youngest child Zeus had rescued his siblings from Kronus. I felt joy like no other, when they had arrived but that feeling of happiness was soon stolen from me as one of my sons were not present.

Poseidon.

This could only mean one thing. He did not survive inside of Kronus and as a result his immortal life was cut short. When I had told his brothers and sisters, I could tell they had felt pity and slight anger, but that was just for a brief second as they quickly got back to doing whatever they were doing. I couldn't really blame them, I mean how can you mourn for someone you've never met?

In order to prepare for the inevitable war, I had begun the process of nursing them back to health while Zeus would help, with training and teaching them how to access their domains as Zeus had done, in order to hide this island from Kronus' sight.

Zeus POV:

It pained me, to find out that one of my had brothers had fallen. It would be even harder to fight against Kronus in the upcoming war, but it was all for naught as like it was for our fathers father, we would one day overthrow Kronus and rule over the world.

General POV:

The island of Crete, began to shake violently as the tides began to recede, and the ground began to split open the God's quickly got ready to fight, as it was impossible to tell what kind of enemy they would be facing of against, for all they knew Kronus could have found them and these were the Titan's coming to kill them.

Suddenly, a huge pillar made of water shot out from the ocean, once it reached it's optimum height, the water began to fall back down. In the midst of all this chaos, could be seen the figure of a man, standing around 6'3 carrying a trident in his hand. All the god's, began to grow pale as the amount of power that this being was exuding, was neat incomprehensible.

For the second time in their immortal lives, they once again feared death.

Once all the water had dispersed, the god's could now see this man... no god clearly. He had blond hair, and deep blue eyes his skin was pale, yet it still had a light tan. Around his waist, he had a white (a/n: i don't know what it's called) that had gold patterns running across it, that extended all the way to his feet. His trident was large, as it was even bigger than this unknown, yet powerful being.

When they looked into his eyes, all they could feel was a ocean that went on for miles and miles, with no end.

An abyss.

Like a thunderbolt, came Zeus he held his sword down ready to kill this god, whoever it may be.

A FEW MINUTES EARLIER

POSEIDON(MC) POV:

After getting the location of where my siblings were currently located, I immediately began my journey to the island of Crete.

Within a few minutes, I could already see the island. Coming closer and closer, I began to ascend higher and higher as my speed began to increase uncontrollably. I shot out of the water, and ascended further into the skies following, a huge pillar of water.

I hit the ground, causing it to crack and after a few seconds, the water had finally dispersed. I looked up, to see 5 gods with 3 of them being females while the other two were male. Hades, Zeus, Hera and Demeter.

A huge bang could be heard, as Zeus quickly dashed towards me with his sword raised high ready to strike me down. I raised my trident, clocking the attack with little to no effort.

A shockwave, was sent throughout the entire island as the ground below began to crack and split apart. Seeing that I was barely even trying, Zeus' face grew red with anger as his eyes began to glow blue and thunder.

He quickly doubled back, and formed a bolt of lightning in his hand hurling it towards me. As it came closer and closer, it began to grown in size. Using my power over quakes, I sent out destructive vibrations, that instantly cancelled out Zeus' attack.

''Is that anyway to greet your brother?'' I said in a monotonous voice, as I was already growing bored with this battle.

For a few minutes, not a single word was uttered but breaking this silent abyss, was Rhea who quickly walked towards me and hugged me. To be honest, I wasn't surprised as her domain was motherhood.

This moment was short lived, as I quickly sensed the feelings of hatred coming from my siblings.

This wasn't going to be easy
