Misery

The sun burned out of a cloudless blue sky as the river reflected it in its tranquil depths. The city was as beautiful as ever, its enormous skyscrapers along with the many parks with ethereal sceneries. People walked by... Some in a hurry to reach their offices, while others going at a much slower pace.

He was sat there, on the pavement...unnoticed by many. Some turned their eyes towards him with pity and kept walking, his existence, only a burden to society

His body was reduced to a skeleton, being covered by a few pieces of cloth that he found some weeks ago. He found himself looking at a kid eating an ice cream.....he also wanted to eat... For hunger was making it impossible for him to even think, but he could do nothing about it....

He had no name.... Not any that he could remember. People would always call him a monster. He never knew what his parents looked like..."Are they still alive?" he murmured to himself...

He coughed several times, only to see blood splurting out of this mouth.

"Im probably going to die" "its better than living like this anyways" he muttered

A muscular figure walked towards him.. "the fuck are you doing here?" he heard him saying.. " I told you not to come here again"..

He heard a cackle and then, with a flash of pain he was on his back, bewildered. The man stood above him, panting, with his hands still curled in a fist.

Knowing that messing with him would be a blunder....he forced his body to move as he wiped the blood from his face.

He slowly walked towards an alleyway with his vision now starting to blur..

"you.. N-need to..... Survive" he said to himself

He fell down, unable to support his body

Everything seemed to have slowed down around him... The people now looking at his body, terrified of what lay in front of them.

He closed his eyes as he prayed... Tears forming in the corner of his eyes...

"What did i do to deserve this"
