8 Academy

I joined the academy and was placed in the same class as Rin, Obito, Asuma and Kurenai. Obito was not happy in my joining the academy because he soon learned that I was better than Kakashi in all aspects and even younger than Kakashi. I didn't think about love or girls in my previous life or this one as I was a workohokic in my previous life and loved new researches. In this life, all I did was train train and train. But at the academy, after I saw Rin, I somewhat had a spark in me lit up and felt different. I found a feeling which was disturbing me whenever I saw her.

I knew she was going to die due to the schemes of Madara and might be the reason why I wished that she would be happy. But I made a resolution to save her at all costs. First I didn't want to influence the story too much, but after seeing Rin, I will need to save her at all costs. This might be the feeling of love or not I couldn't tell. All the teachers at the academy were dumbfounded by my knowledge and skills. Obito frowned day by day, but I didn't mind because he's going to be my enemy even if he doesn't join Madara because I'm thinking about pursuing Rin.

Tsunade used to come drop me at the academy at the start and hug me at the entrance. I also hugged her back not caring for the criticism from other students. The mothers who came to drop their children often look at Tsunade with envy. She is the Senju princess, a Sanin and has a genius son as well. Who won't be envious? I also got mother's love which I didn't get in my previous life and I loved it. One day after the academy, as I went back home, Tsunade was waiting for me with snacks prepared. I sat at the table and started contemplating.

Looking at me thinking something, she asked "What's the matter Ryu? Why the long face?" It was actually the day I decided to save Rin at all costs. I looked at my mother in the eye and said "Mom, don't mistake me, there's a girl in our class named Rin. After seeing her, I feel like I want to protect her. I don't know why". Hearing this, Tsunade smiled and said "Ahh my son has all grown up." I looked at her with a questioning gaze and she said "If you wish to protect someone, then give it your all to protect them. Invite her to our house once when she's free and let me talk to her". I nodded and said "Thanks mom. You re the best".

Like that another six months passed in the academy. I started sending a shadow clone to the academy and started to train outside. My mother found out and gave me a scolding, but I said "Mom, It's boring in the academy. I've sent a Shadow clone there. Even the teachers don't know many stuffs and teach wrong sometimes." Tsunade smiled hearing this and said "Well, the teachers are just chunins. You are already at jonin level. No wonder Academy is boring." I nodded with a smile and she continued "Ah Ryu, what about that girl you were talking about?" I nodded and said "I'll invite her soon once we graduate". She nodded and I continued my training.

Another week passed and it was the time for graduation exam. I had just attended the academy for 6months, but all the teachers had recommended me for the graduation. Like that I graduated top of my class breaking all the previous records of Kakashi and even Minato by a long shot. I was hailed as an genius throughout the village. It looks like cheating as it's my second life and compared to earth's knowledge,!the ninja world is ancient, but who cares? I'm a genius haha. If you think like that, even my powers are a cheat. I'll get sage mode and Rinnegan along with the power of Sora as I grow up. As Sora said, I'll become a demigod anyway".

After graduating and becoming a Genin, I finally invited Rin to my house. Rin was actually fond of Kakashi seeing his talent, but after seeing me better than Kakashi, she had a liking towards me and this she accepted my invitation and also she was learning medical ninjutsu and Tsunade was her idol. Rin and I walked towards the Senju compound and arrived at the house. Tsunade was waiting for us and as soon she saw us, she invited Rin to come in. Rin was nervous seeing my mother, but Tsunade smiled and said "Make yourself comfortable Rin. Think of this as your own house". Rin loosened a little and we three spoke for a long time. Tsunade also liked Rin and Rin also loosened up and felt free speaking with her in some time.

Finally it was time for dinner. Rin had helped mom in cooking and she loved it. They both left me out and went to the kitchen to cook while having a conversation. I shook my head and went to the backyard to train. After some time, Tsunade called me. I came into the house and saw various dishes on the table as a feast was ready. I smiled and the three of us sat down to eat. At this time, Rin asked "Aunty, can you probably teach me some medical ninjutsu if you don't mind?" And lowered her head. Tsunade smiled and answered "Just ask Ryu to teach you rin. He's actually learnt all I know and even better than me in some fields. He's also come with me to the hospital cured some people which even I couldn't".

Rin was shocked hearing her say this and asked "So he's better than the legendary sanin Tsunade Sama?" Tsunade smiled and went into my room and brought out my medical dairy in which I noted down my researches. She then passed it on to Rin and said "This is Ryu's medical journal as he calls. All his researches are in it. You can see. His medical knowledge is out of this world. Who would think that a five year old child has written it? When I was his age, I was hanging out with my grandfather gambling with him. Hahah"
