5 Importance of food.

It has been two days since we left the syrup village. When we faced a storm for first time.

By the time we were out of the storm, it was already next morning.

"Hey Luffy ! want to meet my teacher ? There is an island not far from here, where many kind of wierd animals live. That's a cool place."

"Really ! Let's go then !" Luffy said excitedly.

"What do you mean by teacher ?" Zoro asked.

"Actually I want to become like my adoptive mother. A strong independent woman. So when I was seven, I left my island for more training. I was weak back then. But then I found Gaimon in the island of many beasts. It is a secluded island not far from here. There I I trained for five years. He is the one who taught me observation haki."

"You know observation haki ?" Ussop asked surprised.

"What's observation haki ?" Luffy and Zoro asked in same time.

"Well we are going to grandline. So I think you should learn about this as well. There are three types of haki. Observation haki, Armament haki and Conqueror haki. Pirate king Gol d. Roger was able to conquer the entire grand line with these powers. I don't know much about conqueror haki, but it is said that you must able to use atleast observation and armament haki to atleast survive beyond red line."...."Gaimon was an ex-gunman. He taught me observation haki. It allows me to predict the enemy attacks and even sense their presence and also it allows me to sense my surroundings."..."Armament haki provides defence against any kind of attack. And it is said to be a great advantage against logia devil fruit users."

"Wow ! That's how you are predicting the movement of captain Kuro and able to hit him before I knocked him out. " Luffy asked excitedly.

"Yes. Observation haki works pretty well with my devil fruit powers."

"Hey can you teach me ?" Zoro asked me.

"Actually I am thinking about teaching it to both of you. Currently and in the future, you two are our main fighting powers. And it will help you greatly as well."

"How about me ? I am the sniper. I want to learn it too."

"Alright . But a fair share of warning. It won't be easy."

"Yosh ! "

Next morning we reached the island. After meeting Gaimon, Luffy and Zoro asked more about haki to him. After restoring our food and water supply, and saying goodbye, we left the island.

Next morning, Luffy and Ussop were testing our new canon. They are blasting away barren clips in the ocean. In the midday, I was resting. When I heard commotion outside.

"What's going on ?"

"Those two are testing the canon. they blew up the clip where these two were resting." Zoro showed two bounty hunters.

I looked at them. "Hmm it seems he is suffering from deficiency of nutrition. It is not uncommon. In ocean, you have to take care of your diet. plant nutrition is as important as animal meat. We should really get a cook on our board . Sigh !"

"Yosh ! Then we will look for a cook then."

"I think you should give him some lime juice."

After drinking the lime juice, the sick bounty hunter woke up. It turned out that they are Zoro's acquaintances.

"We seriously thank you. For your help, we will tell you just the place for good food."

"No thanks. Just pay for the limes. "

"What !"

"Baratie ! That's the place towards north and northeast. You don't need to tell anyone."

"Yosh! Let's go then."

So we headed towards baratie. It took us one more day to reach there.

"Hey look ! That's there !"

"Yea. It is the only restaurant inside the ocean in entire east blue."

But then, we heard the sound of another ship. It was a marine ship.

"Hmm ... I have never seen this flag. Who is your captain ?"

"I am Monkey d Luffy. I am the captain. We made this flag a week ago."

"A no name bunch. I am iron full body. Lieutenant general of marine in east blue. "

Saying that he walked away. But then the canons in the Marine ship started moving.

I knew this means problem. So I went forward. "Captain, let me handle this please."

"Okay."

The first one was fired at Luffy. But I deflected it with my bow staff towards the ocean. Then I took out my gun, and fired straight inside the nozel of the canon just before it launched. With a blast, one side of the Marine's ship blew up. Then there was another blast heard. It was ussop. He fired our own canon towards the rear paddle of the ship. The marine crew members were running in a panick like headless chickens. The Marine ship started sinking.

"What have you done !!!"

"We were testing what you said true or not . " I said with a smile.

"What !"

"You told that you are iron full body. Now if you sink with your ship, then you are true. Otherwise false. See isn't it simple."

Luffy, Zoro and Ussop were rolling on the deck while laughing.

"why you !"

"By the way, shouldn't you be more worried about your girlfriend ?"

When he turned back, he received a slap on his face." You said you are strong. But you couldn't even save your own ship from sinking !" The girl said with anger.

With that, we moved towards baratie leaving a sinking marine ship behind.

After reaching the restaurant, We docked our ship. and then went in. Truth to be told, it is more grander inside than it looks outside. After we took our seat, I saw a blonde haired waiter with curly eyebrows.

"Hey waiter ! "

Note -sorry This chapter is short. I won't be able to write for next three days. But after this chapter, I promise some twist in story and a lot of action. I will mention Luffy's and other's fight scenes as well.
