Forgiveness

"Jeremy stay back from him" Elena yelled at him as she stood way of Stefan

"What's wrong sis?" Jeremy asked

"Stefan isn't a human his a vampire who has lived for decades and before you think im crazy he admitted and I saw the camera footage years ago and he still looks the same"

"Yeah Elena I'm a vampire but I promise that im not like the others I don't kill or feed off humans so please don't just shut me out like this" Stefan said defending himself trying to get Elena to understand him

"Just get out" She said weaker this time

"Ok just know that I'll always be there for you" Stefan said before leaving

Jeremy made eye contact with Stefan and mouthed 'I will try help' to Stefan before he left

"Jeremy" Elena turned around jumping into his arms

She gave him a hug not letting go

"I can't believe he never told me and he probably would have never told me to if I never found out myself"

"You can't really blame him because maybe he kept it a secret from you to protect you" Jeremy responded conforting her with a hug

"What he could possibly be protecting me from wait Jeremy" she said moving away from Jeremy

"Why aren't you shocked by this?" Elena asked

"I am Elena, it's just hard to believe since you're the only one that saw the pictures" Jeremy countered

"Sorry about that Jer I'm just still shocked by what happened with Stefan. I know you would never keep stuff from me" Elena said before going to her room

Jeremy was completely fine with lying to Elena since she did the exact same thing in the show

Aunt Jenna came home and made dinner which was very silent with only Aunt Jenna blabbing about how she made up with Logan

Jeremy went to his room afterwards unsure how he would be able to fix Stefan and Elena's relationship faster

He heard his phone ring and sighed before picking it up to talk to Katherine

"Hi my sweetheart" Katherine's sweet voice rang through the phone

Jeremy was unsure what exactly had happened to her since it appeared that everynight she sounded more loving everytime and verbally voiced how much she missed him and one of her spies had found out about Caroline which caused Katherine to ask him more about Caroline then Elena

"Bye little Gilbert, ps I'll be reunited with you soon enough" Katherine said excitedly

Jeremy rested feeling exhausted at what happened today

In Elena's room she was currently writing in her diary with a very happy smile on her face

'Dear diary, today I found out Stefan's little secret and I couldn't be happier at this development since now I can finally find an excuse to latch onto Jeremy using this soon to be breakup. It's just a shame that 'wench' is still sticking around him but it won't be long until he sees her for what she is'

Elena finished writing her diary entry before stashing it away

She turned on her laptop with a picture of a sleeping Jeremy that she took recently without his consent and started the finger herself looking at his face on the picture

The night went by quick and Jeremy went to school like normal but Anna had yet to show up again at his doorstep

Jeremy went with Caroline to school

"Jer is everything alright?" Caroline asked seeing that Jeremy was a bit down

"No I don't think it is Care, Elena found out about Stefan being a vampire and I honestly just feel bad for Stefan since their relationship is looking so good and this was something that Elena really latched onto" Jeremy told her his worries

"Jer don't worry I'll fix it" she boldly stated

"But how?"

"They don't call me the love gura for no reason"

"They do-" before Jeremy could respond he was interrupted

"Oh look we're here" she said hitting the brakes on the car and quickly leaving to her class

Caroline was quite desperate to fix Stelena not to make up with Elena but so Elena would not latch onto Jeremy again since she was certain that when Elena does latch onto Jeremy she would do her best to separate Caroline from Jeremy

"That was weird" Jeremy said going to his class

He had history in the morning and since there was no replacement teacher yet it was just an absolute free class though he was excited when Alaric would finally come to Mystic Falls

Jeremy continued his normal day though he did have a brief encounter with Tyler and Vicky who had recovered and was leaving the boys bathroom

Jeremy wanted to punch Tyler in the face because he never liked him in the series and the fact he was currently a massive douchebag but Jeremy restrained himself to the best of his ability

After school he had seen someone who he hasn't seen in days

"Hi" Anna said meeting him at the school gate giving her usual smile

"Oh hey Anna, where were you these past couple days" Jeremy was sure she was probably planning to open the tomb or something along those lines

"I've just been busy lately but I guess you must have missed be a lot" Anna replied playfully

"Don't flatter yourself too much Anna but school has been pretty boring"

"Anyway Jeremy can I ask you a favour" she pleaded with him getting closer to him

"What?" he asked knowing what she wanted to ask

"Since you're a Gilbert I'm wondering do you have Jonathan Gilbert's journal in your attic I need it for a friend since she's doing a project on Mystic Falls"

"Sure I can try look for it"

Jeremy said with a smile but deep down despite having known that she only befriended him for the journal it still hurt him when he heard her request, he was also planning on going to the tomb's but he couldn't stop the pain in his chest he felt knowing it was time Anna finally asked him about the journal

"Thanks Jeremy you're a lifesaver" Anna said happily not noticing his hurt

Before Anna could say anything else Caroline came to Jeremy's side

"Oh hey Anna where have you been actually nevermind since I don't care" Caroline said dragging Jeremy able to which he didn't actually resist

"Hey wait we were still talking" Anna grabbed Caroline by the wrist

"No I think we're done Anna, see you tomorrow and I'll see can I find the journal" Jeremy spoke up getting ready to leave

Caroline who was now satisfied with Jeremy easily broke her grip and continued to leave with Jeremy

Anna stood there shocked at how she was easily overwhelmed but was also surprised at Jeremy's sudden change in attitude when she asked about the journal. She already was feeling guilty about using Jeremy like this since she had fallen for him but now it seemed Jeremy knew something was up

On the way home Caroline spoke up

"Oh yeah Jeremy you don't have to worry too much about Stelena anymore, since it seems that Stefan is already wiggling his way back to Elena's hearr with the conversation I heard ealier" Caroline said

"Well we don't know for sure since maybe she will change her mind and back away we can only wait for now and hope Stefan does his magic" Jeremy responded still unsure if they were going to heal though there was no Damon this time to cause a rift in their relationship

"Yeah but Jer you should focus on yourself more often and stop worrying about your sister so much or maybe spend more attention on me your Girlfriend" Caroline pouted a bit jealous of the attention he gave Elena

Though Caroline believed that Elena wasn't even consider a love rival but Anna on the other hand could prove to be a nuisance

"Of course I'll give you more attention Caroline I just want you to know that whatever is happening with Stefan and Elena won't affect how I feel about you, just know that I love you Caroline Forbes"

"I love you too" Caroline said blushing at her boyfriend's sweet words

"Okay Care see you tomorrow at the party" Jeremy kissed her goodbye before leaving to go into his home

"Bye and love you" Caroline said
