Chapter 12

The carriage traveled in a hurry because The escort team wanted to finish the job quickly. They felt uncomfortable sitting next to the old man. Moreover, he had a weird look in his eyes every time he looked at them.

Currently, Patrick sat between Boris and Christopher while the captain, Austin, sat across from them.

John Kept urging the Thestrals to fly faster.

Christopher wanting to elevate the situation looked at Austin and asked, "Boss, why did you leave Charles behind? You know he'll spend the next two days there. His fiancee is going to kill him!"

"Can't you feel how abnormal this old bastard is? Charles might fail to protect his mind, putting us all in danger. So, him getting killed by his fiancee, is better then us dying because he made a mistake." Austin said, not moving his eyes from Patrick.

"That's for the best! Besides, if anything happens, he'll be okay. Hey, Boris, John, how about a drink once we're done?" Christopher said, cheerfully.

Boris nodded his head while John shouted, "count me in"

"Boss, since Boris and John are going won't you join us? C'mon, we'll have fun!"

"Fine, but only one drink" Austin said, in a serious voice.

"Hahaha. You sure know how to joke, boss. You drink more then the three of us combined! And you get drunk faster than Charles." Christopher said, making the others laugh.

However, all of a sudden, everyone went still. As if someone pressed the pause button, making every one freeze. But, As if the previous moment was an illusion, everything returned to normal.

Austin pulled out his wand and destroyed the restraints on Patrick. After that, he gave his wand to Patrick while Boris and Christopher watched without doing anything. As if they originally came here, to give this wand to Patrick.

Patrick smirked and said, "John, turn the carriage south-east and please make haste."

"Yes, sir!!" John shouted with overwhelming enthusiasm.

The Carriage with its team and cargo, disappear from the world that night. No one knows what happened. The Ministry of Magic tried every tracking spell they know. unfortunately, they couldn't find any clues. As if the carriage and its occupants, disintegrated into dust.

A week later, Hagrid finally decided that enough is enough. He ate shity Azkaban food for the last week. He Watched as the Aurors left, and the Dementors came back. But, he still didn't dare to touch his pouch for fear that it might all be a trick. However, today, he had enough. He reached into his pouch and summoned the food basket. He started eating like a hungry beast, swallowing not chewing.

After finishing his meal, Hagrid waited for the Aurors to catch him. He simply couldn't care any longer. A week without the heavenly food, felt like a year to him. However, no one came.

Hagrid spent the last week, trying to progress his Occlumency but to no avail. He started thinking about his next move before looking at his pouch.

"Now, how do I get inside this thing." Hagrid thought while looking at his pouch.

Hagrid grabbed the pouch and started inspecting it. The pouch looked normal like any other pouch. It's made of leather with two strings on the top that can be used to close or open the pouch. Done with inspecting the pouch, Hagrid decided to see if he can enter that room again.

Hagrid pulled the pouch apart at the top and stared inside. And just like the first time, only darkness can be seen. Hagrid put his hand inside and started imagining the room. And in the next second, he disappeared.

Hagrid wished that he wasn't so curious because he wouldn't have to feel this pain. He felt as if someone was forcibly pulling his huge body through a swirly straw.

Hagrid crashed on the floor. He sat on the floor for a while trying to orientate himself. After a while, Hagrid finally stood up, and started looking around. The room is mostly empty except for a table and two doors. One door said Exit while the other said Mansion.

Hagrid walked towards the door that said 'Mansion' before twisting the door knob. As the door opened, a light streamed through blinding Hagrid for a moment. After Hagrid adjusted to the light, he started looking around. what he saw was a stunning black and white mansion. The mansion looked more like a castle as if the designer never intended it for humans.

Hagrid walked through the door and started to observe his surroundings. Besides the room, he came from, there is a mansion, an artificial sun, and a grassland. An endless grassland... well, almost endless because he could see where it ends. The grassland extended for over a mile.

Hagrid felt dizzy for a second before he decided to check the mansion. As he walked towards the mansion, he realised how big it is. The gate alone is thirty feet tall. The gate looked as if an artist destroyed his hands carving it. It had all kind of magical creatures, with intricate details. Anyone who looked at the door, will fell that it's alive.

"Sigh!" Hagrid sighed in amazement and said, "I can't imagine how good of a Wizard I have to be to replicate this work of art! Dumbledore is truly a magnificent Wizard."

Hagrid pushed open the door and started exploring. The first thing he saw was a huge hall with a staircase that leads to the second floor. The hall had four doors two on each side of the staircase, and two on the left and right side of the hall. The floor is made of black marble with white lightning patterns running through the marble. Giving it the illusion of a stormy night. The ceiling had a silver chandelier with tear drop looking crystals. As Hagrid looked around, he thanked Dumbledore from the bottom of his heart. Not knowing that the mansion is Nicolas's Handy work.

As Hagrid explored the top floors, he discovered that most rooms were empty. Only the library, the bedroom, and the kitchen had any items.

Hagrid swore that he will fill this pouch in the future. He will raise magical creatures, plant magical herbs and fungi, and raise some muggle creatures.
