Reunion & Titanomachy (I)

After the happy family reunion, we all just sat down and talked about what we had been up to for the past couple of years. My mother was glad we had been living well, although she could not care for us.

When we were told about the ongoing war between the gods and titans, everyone except me were shocked. They all agreed to aid the gods in the war but when Zeus said he is the leader, Poseidon argued that he should be the leader.

In the end Zeus won albeit a small margain, so Poseidon had to comply with the arrangement's reluctantly. Zeus himself was not all too happy because he won by a small margin.

With that over, we started on the war plans. The minor gods and other mortals that made up the gods army were divided to six groups, one under each of us. We would also fight on different fronts. Additionally, Zeus decided to entitle us six great gods Olympians to differentiate ourselves. Again showing his arrogance, not like I care.

Moving on, Poseidon alongside Oceanus would hold the ocean front. That's right, Oceanus decided to put his faith on us and betrayed the titans, Cronos was outraged to say the least. Luckily for Oceanus, he bet on the right side.

Zeus would be on the front against Iapetus and his children Menoetius and Epimetheus. He faces a higher pressure, so I have to at least give it to him that he has some guts.

But the one facing the greatest pressure is probably me. On my front, I have to face off against Krios and his children Astraios, Pallas and Perses. Moreover, I have to also fight Atlas, another child of Iapetus, the strongest of the titans. So yeah, its going to be quite tough for me.

Hestia and the others would fight on their front against titans like Hyperion and Coeus. With all that settled, its time for war.

Currently, I am fighting against Krios and his children Astraios, Pallas and Perses. I can easily toy around with his children, Krios is the troublesome one.

Krios launched a sparkling beam towarda me. Just as I dodged it, his three children came at me while swinging their swords. I quickly turned around and blocked their advances with a darkness shield. But Krios managed to catch up to me and tried to punch me with his fist covered in a sparkling aura. Luckily, I managed to barely dodge with teleportation.

Well this is annoying, I thought. I already copied his power of the stars and am currently just mastering them, so I should quickly get this done with. I made a quick pushing movement with my right hand at Krios three children. Suddenly, the dark clouds rumbled and black lightning struck them before they even realized it. Black lightning kept on striking them endlessly, they were already at death's door after the first couple of strikes.

Krios became enraged when he finally reacted. He gathered a massive amount of star enery and fired a enormous sparkling beam at me. I recuperated with a black sparkling beam from my left hand. The clash of the two beams created a shockwave that destroyed anything in the surrounding area.

Both beams entered a stalemate, fighting for supremacy. After a while, I stopped the lightning strikes. The three young gods were now in a deep chared crater, their bodies were chared and were already unconsious. Krios became even more enraged and pumped more energy into his sparkling beam. As my black sparkling beam was getting pushed back, I decided to end this.

I put my full focus on the battle and pumped every bit of energy I had in my energy reserve into my beam. This could be a reckless move for others in a battlefield but I had absolute immortality and my energy reserve would instantly replenish when depleted.

The end result was that my beam became trice as large as krios's beam and obliterated it. Not only that, it continued on towards Krios. It was only because he dodged in the nick of time that he managed to survive with half his mody being obliteratrd.

Krios was now looking at me with fear in his eyes. With a shaky voice, he asked, "How?".
