Not caring too much about my appearance for now, I tried a few ground moves. I then quickly learned moves like dig, magnitude, spikes and sand-attack. 'I almost feel like life is too easy sometimes' I sighed. Using a move of the same type truly felt natural. Walking on the ground was also a bit of a new sensation. It felt like the earth itself was helping me move.

I continued testing out these new moves, and thinking about how I could use them, while learning my limits in this body for the next few hours. Being hungry I wanted to test something. I made a loud howl while using hyper voice, sending my howl in every direction. A couple seconds later I could hear a pokémon roar back, angry at my intrusion.

I then used agility and growth thrice each. It felt like my physical power increased by 150%. Hearing the pokémon getting even closer, I used dig. My body felt like it melted into the ground, and it let me move freely within it. I couldn't see, but I could sense the surface of the ground. Waiting in ambush for the incoming pokémon.

Sensing his position, I moved a bit behind the rather large pokémon. I rushed out from the ground, quickly realizing it was a purple behemoth of a pokémon. 'A very strong nidoking, but hopefully my ground type advantage and buffs would help me win this fight' I thought while jumping towards his arm.

Now close I activated psychic fang and ripped his arm off his body. I felt nidoking charge up a move immediately after I came close to his arm, and just after I ripped his arm from his body, his other arm drenched in ice energy punched me straight to the ground, where he then stomped on my body with double kick. Before the second kick could hit me, I sank into the ground dodging it.

'Strong! If I didn't dodge that last kick I might have been seriously injured, perhaps even crippled for a while' I thought alarmed. I moved in the opposite direction of Nidoking, before I felt a large gathering of ground energy. Quickly knowing what Nidoking intended, I sped out from the ground. Knowing only one way to dodge this move, I tried a move I should have learned long ago for the first time.

I jumped once from the ground onto a nearby rock, and then once again I jumped, this time visualizing myself bounce high into the air from my first jump. I felt the energy manifesting in my body, I slowly felt myself become lighter and lighter, soon as light as a feather. I reached some hundreds of meters in the air, before I slowly started to drift downward. Knowing I could remove the effect of the move anytime, to gain a high amount of momentum that would smash into my enemy.

All of this happened in just a couple of seconds, so when Nidoking realized I dodged his earthquake he started to charge another move enraged. I saw normal energy manifest itself in front of Nidokings mouth. Knowing that this would be my chance, I continued to fall slowly. The hyper beam reached its peak after only a couple of seconds, I immediately chose to fall quickly now, straight towards the ground. Feeling the move barely miss, I would have been wet with sweat if I still was a human before plummeting towards the ground..

There was barely any recoil from hitting the ground, as the earth itself made me crash in the best possible position. Just before landing I used sandstorm so Nidoking couldn't see my location. Still a bit hurt, I rushed towards the exhausted nidoking from the inside of the sandstorm. Claws made from sand came from my paws, I then used laser focus before jumping towards where my instincts gained from my move was telling me to go. I then used slash, my new claws ripping under a weak scale on his shoulder.

I pushed my claw upward, slashing my claw into his neck. Nidoking realizing he was dying, used toxic on me in revenge. As my body was basically clinging onto his, I couldn't dodge it. I felt myself slowly be corroded from the inside. Knowing my only chance for survival was eating Nidoking, and letting my genes adapt to the nidokings innate poison.

I used wish before I started to consume him piece by piece. I had never tasted anything like it, but it tasted amazing like so many other pokémon. Exhausted from the fight, and stuffed with food, I let fate decide the rest after hiding inside a nearby tree.

Waking up still a bit damaged, I saw the sunrise. I used morning sun, as it would help me heal the rest of my wounds without using too much energy. I could feel the difference in power I had now compared to before the fight, but it was not significant enough to make a fight like this easy. But now I didn't have to rely on my type advantage, perhaps I could even defeat a pokémon of the same level as nidoking with a disadvantage.

The poison in my body was fully gone after I ran for a couple of hours. My body should now be able to resist a lot stronger poisons. It was a bit faster running towards the energy, as I could use dig to go straight through hills, or up a steep cliff.

After three days of journeying I could smell civilization. As I was a totally unknown pokémon, I didn't want to expose myself to humans yet. Who knew if I would suddenly have a monster made by Team Rocket after me.

Not only that, I could also sense powerful psychic waves being generated from the inside of the city. Knowing the city housed the strongest gym leader of Kanto, I took a detour around Saffron city.

Seeing myself get closer to the massive vortex of normal energy, invisible to others eyes. I couldn't help but feel excited and curious for what it would be. It took several hours before I reached Vermillion Forest, because I had to stealth my way through my detour. As some pokémon could perhaps sense me using moves.

Vermillion forest was what the ancients would call a natural fortress, the entrance only a small and hidden crevice. I entered the crevice carefully, not knowing what kind of pokémon that would inhibit the forest. I Passed the crevice while sneaking past the boulders, it could be a golem after all, or even a small part of onix or steelix.

I reached the forest, and it felt peaceful. 'Perhaps an effect of oversaturation from normal energy' I thought while moving towards the center of the vortex. As the vortex spanned several kilometers, it took some time before I reached the center. On my way seeing many different types of pokémon, like scyther and pinsir, the oddish line, exeggcute, farfetch'd, the pidgey line, the spearow line, and the bellsprout line.

Feeling the plentiful normal energy, I knew I could transform back into eevee in less than ten seconds. 'Perhaps the most efficient way of evolving into all the different types is finding locations like this' I mused. Most of the other pokémon avoided me, as I was unlike what they had seen before, and I also looked quite strong. Not having eaten anything for some time, I hunted an exeggcute to find out what the egg pokémon would taste.

After eating the exeggcute, I continued towards the center of the vortex. Soon reaching it, I could see something weird. It felt like the world itself was executing a move like a pokémon, but on a much larger scale. I felt a feeling sprout from my soul, urging me to transform back into eevee. Being one to trust my instinct, I did just that. I started to convert my energy back to normal, feeling how the normal energy started to surge into me was breathtaking.

After just a couple of seconds, I started to transform. Feeling something unusual, like my genes subtly activating something ancient.The usual feeling of feebleness not present after transforming into eevee, instead I felt a bit more powerful. The first thing I noticed was my size, no longer as "small" as I normally was as eevee, before I noticed my now quite long and white tail. 'I mega evolved? Was it from being filled so quickly with normal energy, or something else?' I wondered.

I felt like I could use a new move, so I tried it out. The normal energy in the air becoming even denser, almost like there was another small vortex here. Feeling how my normal moves would become stronger from being inside my territory. 'This reminds me of the terrain moves, perhaps there exist one for every type? Not just psychic, fairy, grass and electric' I concluded from what I now knew.

I suddenly felt a bit inspiration, mobilizing a lot of the energy that surrounded me. I visualized myself, every parameter of what constituted my being. Knowledge started to surge into my head, before I blacked out from energy exhaustion.

After waking up, I started to review the knowledge in my head. Now knowing a bit more about this world, like how energy control apparently was a thing, and also that I apparently was level 57. The weirdest part was my nature, simply called "lewd". Being suspicious of it existing is different from knowing it exists. I then tried to deactivate the mega evolution, and I immediately started to devolve from my mega state. Trying to once again mega evolve, I felt how easy it was to mega evolve compared to regular evolving. I didn't have to focus on anything, just "activating" the gene started the process.

In the next several days I stayed close to the center of the vortex. Letting me get more familiar with energy, increasing my control by a tiny bit.
