2 Chapter 1

Hello there.

My name is Issac. A recent 22 year old college gradute.

So to make a long story short I died.

Yep, I'm dead.

As to how it happened some ROB somehow caused me to get struck by a lighting bolt.

I am not kidding.

A lighting bolt killed me.

So anyway, after I died the ROB started apologizing profusely. Then after he was done doing so he offered me a chance at reincarnation in my favorite anime/manga world One Piece.

Naturally as a One Piece I made the only logical choice any other fan would in my situation.

I agreed to the ROB's offer without any hesitation.

Thus here I am.

Getting ready to start my new life in the wonderful world of One Piece. 

Who knew dying could be so lucky.

Staring at the ROB, who for some reason has chosen the appearance of Ryan Reynolds, I sat across from him in a comfy chair. While he sat in one as well.

The two of us in a completely white space with nothing else around.

"So, before I send you to the world of One Piece there is one more gift I wish to bestow upon you." The ROB told me.

"Sure." I said.

Since I would have to be an idiot to reject a gift from the ROB. Pissing him off for no good reason would just be stupid. After all I'm not like some of those protagonists I read about in fanfictions  and webnovels in my previous life.

The moment the ROB heard my reply he snapped his fingers.

A second after he did so a spin wheel like those seen on game shows appeared in front of me. Littered with the names of various characters from anime, manga, and even some videogames.

"Spin it." The ROB said.

Nodding I reached out and spun the wheel.

It then went round, and round, and round until finally it landed on a name.

The main character from one of my favorite videogames of all time.

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.

Curious as to what the wheel stopping on Edward's name meant I got ready to ask the ROB. But before I could the spin wheel glowed in a brilliant gold color and then simply vanished.

Then right after it did so I was engulfed entirely in the same brilliant gold color.

But just like with the spin wheel I only glowed for a few seconds.

As the light died down a full body mirror suddenly materialized out of thin air in front of me. When it did so I looked into it and my jaw hit the forth. 

Since the image reflected in the mirror was not my own, but that a young Edward Kenway.

As I kept staring at my reflection in the mirror I couldn't believe it. I have literally become Edward Kenway.

Pirate, assassin, adventure, and all around badass.

As my shocked died down I couldn't stop a huge grin from forming on my face.

Once it did so I looked past the mirror and at the ROB who was smiling at me.

"So, how do you like your gift?" He asked. "Since the world of One Piece is much more dangerous than your original world I'd figured you'd need a little extra something. So I decided to give you a chance to transform into a character from a another fictional series. Gaining their skills and knowledge. As well as their appearance."

"Thank you. I love this gift." I spoke.

"You're welcome." The ROB replied.

"By the way how old am I right now?" I asked.

"Just think about it." The ROB replied.

When he did so I focused on my age and then the memory of it suddenly came to the forefront of my mind.

At the moment I am 18 years old.

"Anything else you wish to know before you leave?" The ROB asked me.

"Not at all." I replied.

"Well then. Time for you to be off." The ROB said.

He then snapped his fingers once again.

The moment after he did so I was engulfed in a pillar of light and then was sucked up into it.

One my way to start my new life in the world of One Piece.

Again, who knew dying could be so lucky.
