4 Chapter 3

Claude soon got bored of doing this so he then proceeded to dismember his arms and legs. He then chopped the swordsman's neck and he passed out. And then told the guards to take the swordsman to the dungeon. The guards complied with he prince and were pretty happy that the swordsman paid for his disrespect. Later that knight the prince tortured(putting hot oil into the tip of his penis to be a name of a few) the swordsman that night. Claude then used a item to make the swordsman relive that moment ever single night of his life. The gaurd and citizen had heard the swordsman's screams ever night. He soon committed suicide but to his dismay, Claude had used the item to bind the swordsman's soul so he will have this dream even after reincarnation.

The prison guards and citizens have spread rumors about the suicide and screams they heard from the dungeon cell specifically of the swordsman who insulted Elena. That you should never say bad things about Claude's family in front of him or they had to face his wrath. Though the rumor is not that big in other countries but if someone did a little research using the citizens, they would find out about the outcome of the swordsman. So ever person who has done research or come to challenge Claude knows about provoking Claude using family is a major no, no. Thankfully, no one has been like that idiotic swordsman who only thought with his sword.

!After a week!

Claude is currently in the castle's courtroom because a villager had requested a court. The villager lived in one of the villages of count Paris, a fat and lecherous noble whose father bought the title from the declining count. The villagers had went to the count but sadly it fell on deaf ears. So they called for an audience with the king, when they told the king their problems. The king decided to send some knights to defend the villagers. Claude at that time for the first time in the court spoke

Claude: Father, I would also like to go help the knight fight the bandits with your permission.

King: Claude, you should know that there is a big difference in a battle of honor and survival. In a battle of honor, there is one opponent uses only their weapon while a battle for survival, the opponent will use ever underhanded trick and will be much more unpredictable with horses.

Claude: But father I stand with my words it would be alot better if I go with them and learn from this experience.

King: Claude, you have a very bright future ahead of you, I don't think the time is right. I believe your much better off, waiting till your 10th birthday.

Claude: Alright, Father. *bows and leave.*

Although Claude wanted to talk back to the king, he knew it would only result in him being sent to the room so he agreed. But Claude wasn't going to give up on being able to return to his world/era because his father said no. Claude formed a plan to slip through in night and get inside the carriage.

!Few hours later!

Claude went to his room and jumped out of his window. He then dodged guards who were on duty, He soon saw a carriage with the villagers. He also saw they were getting ready to leave so Claude decided to go below the carriage and decided to make him self comfortable using magic to attach himself to the bottom of the carriage and use a barrier to avoid getting dirty. Soon the villagers left for the village and while on the way. Soon horses came behind them, these were the Knights who were sent by Godwyn for their safety. Soon the carriage stops and knights can be seen getting off their horses. The Knights also begin making forts and creating tents. The villagers can also be seen packing all the goods and other valuable items back. Soon a scream can be heard, which gathers knights and villagers alike.

Villager: ahhhh!

Knight: what's wrong, why did you scream?

Villager: it's the prince *pointing at the barrel*

Knight: *looks at the barrel and bows as Claude stands up* your

highness, why are you here?

Claude: Well it's just to see the dangers, my father was talking about. *A stoic face*

Knight: Your highness, that is very reckless of you. You could have died.

Claude: 'well that's not really possible with his strength, but the knight doesn't know that so' *nod*

Knight: Your highness, can I stand?

Claude: Oh, yes. Plus you don't need to be so stiff with me, think of me as a comrade.

Knight: *sighs* Please come with me to see the captain, Prince Claude. *ignoring the last sentence completely.*

Soon the knight takes the prince to a tent with two guards. The approaching knight asks "what's wrong, Ron", Ron then shakes his head and looks at the prince. The other knight soon bows and asks the prince

The knight on guard duty: Your highness, what are you doing here?

Claude: *sighs* it's a long story, can you take me to your captain?

Knight guard: Yes, right a way.

Ron stays out and proceeds to return to his station after escorting the prince. Inside the tent, one man can be staring at a boy. The man looks to be annoyed while the boy seems stoic. The man starts off with a forced smile and says

Knight Captain: Prince Claude, I have heard about you. I first heard of you, I had hoped to meet you. The youngest swords -master of Albion and pride of Gawant. But I had not know of you to be reckless as well. Your highness, why have you come here?

Claude: Well, first off I want to help my people. What kind of prince would I be if I didn't? And secondly Although I have full trust in the knights, I fully believe I can help. Thirdly I want to prove my father wrong. 'to be honest, I had not planned on coming if not for the quest reward.'

Knight Captain: Well firstly we are more than enough for mere bandits, secondly why did you come if you trusted us?, And thirdly you do know you can die here right?

Claude: *nods and says* well my goal is not only to defend the village. I plan to remove them from Gawant completely or atleast kill their leader and 1/3 of the bandits.

Knight Captain: Your highness, that ridiculous you think a mere hundred knights and beat hundreds of bandits? Even if you are a swords master, killing thousands is no joke. I refuse.

Claude: Well, It's true that killing thousands of bandits with a hundred knight is impossible in battle but it's different if the bandits are drunk or sleeping.

Knight: *gasps* but your highness, we are knights. Although, they are bandits. I don't know if the knights will follow you.

Claude: Well, I don't want the whole squad. I only need 20 knights who are willing to follow my command. Tell them if it succeeds, they all can get at least 1 gold depending on their preformance or a favor within limits of their performance.

Knight Captain: Yes, your highness. *He says with a voice of pride/ happiness* 'At first, I thought Prince Claude was just here for the battle but I guess this prince is different. I can see why many called him the aloof prince, I couldn't really tell if he meant his words while having a conversation. I had heard, he never really smiles except with his family.'

Soon a boy and man can be seen talking. The boy can be seen reading some papers. The paper are the profile about the knights who agreed to join him most of them are previous farmers and the others are 3rd-4th son of low ranking nobles total of 40 knights. Claude also talk to the captain to makes some traps, two wooden slab with sharp nail both palace in a hole with a hole in the middle, for injuring the enemy. Soon the bandits can be seen rushing on horse back with a few running as some horse had stepped on the trap but fortunately survived.

*New pov*

Hello, my name is Joe. I was always an orphan loved by no one, the best a person had done for me was give me a few bronze coin for bread and water. A few years later, I had join the bandits because of I was tired of stealing food and wanted to actually live. After joining the bandits, a few years later they found me worthy and gave me an position of a leader of a 20 bandits. This was one of my third raid along with 3 other bandit leaders, the goal was to take the wheat and 10 sliver coins from the village and return to base. While on the way, I saw forts and camps which was not good but decided to charge as we had the numbers. While charging my horse suddenly fell and I soon found out it was due to a weird trap. I had decided to return to safety as I was injured but on the way I stepped on a another trap but I recovered cursing my luck. While getting away, I was bombarded with arrows and died.
