Training

(Timeskip: 1 Year)

For the next year, Adam started training to become stronger.

The first 2 months of his training was dedicated to training his body. He wanted his body to have a firm foundation for his aura and future Battles. the first thing he needed was a healthy body. His original body went through a lot of abuse such as bone not healing properly and being on the malnourished side. With the help of his massive aura reserves, it helped heal the hidden injuries within his body and with a correct diet, he had a healthy body to build upon.

Most of his physique training was dedicated to speed, reaction time, and endurance. He didn't neglect other parts of his training such as strength, but he was mostly focused on the first three. This was due to the fact that his semblance, Moonslice, relied on fast speed and endurance to store energy and unleash it. if he didn't have enough endurance then his power would be underwhelming.

After training his body, the next 2 months were dedicated to aura control. He increased his aura reserves and control by meditating and integrating it into his fighting style and exercise. The more he justed it the stronger it became, like a muscle.

After Training his aura, another 2 months were dedicated to learning swordsmanship from his time as Juno and unarmed combat. He was using the Iaijutsu style which quickly draws the sword for a strike and then sheathing it again. He also improved his swordsmanship and unarmed combat by purchasing introduction books from the nearby town. He needed to have great swordsmanship to be able to block and store energy in it for Moonslice.

After 6 months of setting up the perfect foundations for his body, he decided it was time to start fighting Grimm to gain experience in combat. Although he was good in swordsmanship and combat, he didn't have the necessary experience in life and death situations to effectively use them. So for the next 6 months, he dedicated his time to fighting Grimm, bandits, and rouge huntsman and huntresses.

Whenever he went to town, the Faunus decided that he would visit the library to learns things that the original 10-year-old Adam didn't know (which wasn't a lot due to his young age) and what wasn't shown in canon. One of which was about huntsman and huntresses. They were originally huntsman and huntresses for their kingdom but left for one reason or another. Some famous rouge huntsman and huntresses included Raven Branwen, Tyrian Callows, and Arthur Watts.

He needed experience against just not Grimm but also people. The threat in this world wasn't just Grimms and angry ex-lovers of reincarnating heroes, there were many human antagonists in the RWBY Series.

In a clearing of the forest called Forever Falls was a young boy fighting against 2 slightly beat up Ursas.

(A/N: Hey if Jaune who has no prior training and just unlocked his aura can kill a fully grown Ursa why can't he kill two?)

The boy in question was around 11 years old. He was tall for his age with an athletic body that was built for speed, like a swimmer. He had auburn hair with streaks of brown that spikes backward in a windswept way. On his face was a whitish-tan mask with red, Japanese style, horn-like symbols decorating the front, and two slits on each side to allow for vision. His outfit consisted of a grey and black tight form-fitting jacket with a high collar and long sleeves. He wore matching colored pants and black combat boots.

The young boy went into an Iaijutsu style stance with his hand rested on the hilt and sheath, crouching slightly.

The pair of Ursa stood on their powerful rear legs roared. The first one swung his claws towards the boy. The boy unsheaths his sword halfway and blocked the incoming claw, collecting the kinetic energy released before unleashing a wave of ferocious red and black energy in a single swing from the sword, cutting the pair of Ursa in two.

With the small release of a breath, the young Faunus resheathed his sword and walked back to his camp.

This boy was obviously Adam Watanabe Taurus or Adam W. Taurus for short.

Once Adam returned to his camp and resting his upper body on a nearby tree, he reflected on how so much has changed over the year. over the course of his one-year training, his combat power has risen incredibly. Before he started his training, he roughly placed his combat power at around a student in Signal Academy that is about to graduate. Now he would place it at a Beacon Academy student on their 3rd year (A/N: it's not confirmed how long you attend beacon but I believe its 4 years).

His strength, swordsmanship, unarmed combat, Aura manipulation/control, and his use of semblance have all drastically increased.

While he wasn't at the level of Cinder and Emerald, he would at least be able to run away from them.

After thinking for a while, he decided that he was finally on the level of where he can go through with the last goal and travel towards Menagerie and join the White Fang for a while. It would be easier to integrate into the new world especially since he was a Faunus.

First things first he needed to go to the town and buy a map. He doesn't know where to head to get to Menagerie. Afterwards, he needs to get supplies for the supposedly long journey. With those in mind, he packs up his camp and heads to the nearest town.

Adam arrived and walked through the street of the town. The surround people parted like the red sea, whispering and watching fearfully as the bull faunus walked through the crowd.

"O-Oi... it's that monster kid...Demon Taurus..."

"He lives in the Grimm infested forest..."

"Is it safe for him to be here? Near the kids?"

During the year that Adam was training, the townspeople grew scared of him. It happened when he was wiping out a bandits camp that had captured townspeople for ransom. He wanted human opponents and fought them. The captured townspeople watched in horror as the bandits were slaughtered like cattle ruthlessly. They watched as Adam kill all them with no expression on his face. One person asked for his name, and the boy answered that it was Taurus. Soon after the battle, he left.

There were multiple witnesses of Taurus's ruthlessness from bandits, to Grimm, to rogue hunters and huntresses, all killed without remorse.

That's when they started calling him a Child Without a Heart, Demon Taurus

Not that Adam really cared, he was going to leave this town anyway. All he needed was a map and supplies. He walked into the general store and purchased his items and looked onto the map. He was in the outskirts of Vale and The easiest way to get to Menagerie was from Mistral. So first he would need to go to Vale and board an Airship to Mistral, and then take a boat to Menagerie.

With the new plan in mind, Adam set off to Vale's capital.
