Chapter 4: 3 Years Old

Anri just turned three! Hehehe! Mama said that since I turned three she will give me a maid! I have a guts that I will meet the right hand man of 'Rietta' in the book. The book portray the maid a smart and loyal. And they met when they are young. Additionally, she really loves her mistress. She hated the heroine who sow discord between Rietta and Reginald. And blamed the heroine for pushing her mistress to be bad.

I'm so excited to meet her! And today is the day! Yipee~

"My~ Is my Lady excited?" The maid who is with me, Carla, asked me with a smile. She's the one who's taking care of me whenever my Mama is not around. She's so nice! Hehehe... Whenever I ask for a treat she will give me some. Mama never let me eat sweets. She said I will ruin my teeth! But I want to eat something more adult like! I'm tired eating baby food! I want sweet and meat! I can't wait to grow up.

I want to explore the whole house. I've never been to other parts because they won't take me. The places that I can only go is the sitting room where we spend some time together.

"Yes! Mama said if I have a maid of my own I can go outside! I want to play in the garden! I want to go to the library!" There's a lot of things that I want to do but I can't do right now. But, with a maid with me I can explore a little. Maybe I can find some information about the kingdom and many more.

"Then my Lady should wait a bit. -Oh! It seems she's here with the Lady."

Someone knocked and Carla opened the door. When my Mama entered I immediately stood up and ran towards her.

"Mama! Anri missed you!" I hug my mother tightly.

"My~ I missed Anri too!" She patted my head lightly.

Waa~ It's so nice to get patted.

"Well, Anri, let me introduce you to your new maid." Mama ushered me to meet my new maid.

My eyes are sparkling and my mouth opened a little. In front of me stand a cute little kid. In my estimation she's six to seven years old. She have short black hair. Her eyes is blue and her mouth is in a straight line. She looks like a blank paper. She seems cold.

"Anri, she's Claudine and she will take care of you."

"Uwaaa~" I ran towards her and hugged her. Then I looked up to her. She looked shocked.

"Nee~ Play with me? Okay? Mama said that I can go outside when I met you. Let's play? Pleaseeee~ Anri's boreeeed!" I looked at her straight to the eyes with my puppy eyes.

"Uh..." She looked more troubled now. I bet she's not expecting me to be nice and childish. She looked towards my Mama. I also turned my head. Mama's laughing softly at us.

"Anri, you surprised Claudine. And Anri, introduce your self properly to her."

Oh! I forgot. I took a few steps back and did a curtsy.

"Hello! I'm Henrietta Fleur Gyrn. Please do call me Anri. I'll be in your care for now on."

After that, Mama allowed me to play with Claudine. My~ it's really the 'Claudine'! She's a certified tsundere! Waaa~ I'm so happy to meet her. I read to the forum site that there's a lot fan fiction of her story. It seems there's a chemistry between her and Henrietta's older brother, Gray. My~ I want to see them together!

Anyway, where in the garden. I asked Claudine to brought me here. I want to see that rose up close.

"Claud~ Let's play in there!" I pointed at the roses.

"My Lady, we can't play in there. Lady Annalisse said that we can't cross the rose garden. But we can play to the orchard." Claud said sternly.

I pouted. I want to play in there. Come to think of it, there's an orchard near the roses. It's pretty there too but the rose garden is still the best.

Hmm...

"Okay. Then let's play hide and seek! You are the finder! Count one too one hundred before finding me." I giggled as I ran away from her. I ran toward the orchard. Hehehe... before she can find me, I'll ran to the rose garden.

"1, 2, 3, 4, 5..." Claud reluctantly count.

I'm sorry! I want to see the rainbow colored rose. I changed my path and went towards the center of the rose garden. As I ran towards it I suddenly feel lightheaded.

Huh? Why do I see someone? Such a pretty person. Her hair is like waves of gold. Her eyes is like a gem that shines. It looks blue but it's turning red and violet. Weird, but pretty. Her skin is snow white and smoot. And Her dress is pretty too. It's a Grecian dress that's flowy.

I stopped when I neared the center.

The woman smiled at me. She have a pretty smile. It's warm and gave a friendly feeling.

In a blink of an eye she's in front of me. I looked up.

"Who are you?" I asked curiously. When she neared at me, my lightheadedness was gone. She's a mysterious person.

"I'm Floralia. The Guardian of Nature." She said softly and patted my head.

When her hands landed in my head, the surrounding suddenly turned white.

"Where are we?" Uh... Did I get kidnapped from my own house?

"Where in a private place. I want to show you something, my awaited successor."

Eh? Successor? I looked at her suspiciously. This lady is weird.

She looked at me and chuckled lightly.

"My dear, don't look at me like that. I shall explain it to you. But not now. I brought you here to meet someone."

To meet someone? She looked behind me and smiled. I also turned. My eyes wide and mouth hanging open.

Eeeeeekkk!!! Someone appeared and she looked like me?!

"Hello, Anri! I'm Rietta."
