God of genjutsu

After Orochimaru made the attempt for his life, Itachi husband very worried about Sasuke. After a bit of investigation he found out that, Orochimaru was after sharingan.

If the snake has given up on his eyes then next he would go after his brother.

And in this matter Itachi didn't trust the hidden leaf village to keep Sasuke safe. It is not that the security is lacking but, he didn't want to underestimate someone like Orochimaru. From has investigation he has found that, Orochimaru has already planted spies inside the hidden leaf village. Yakushi Kabuto, the boy who helped Orochimaru escape, is one of them. His crows and the sharing vision technique helped him achieve this feat. He has noticed pain's shared vision and he has taken inspiration from it. He has created his own shared vision jutsu. And who is the help of his sharingan, and genjutsu skills, his crows were excellent in spying on others. But, this Jutsu wasn't without flaws. He was sure that someone experienced like Hiruzen would notice it , if his crows got too close to him. Atleast from his experience from spying on Orochimaru, he knew that his jutsu wasn't flawless.

But it didn't matter for him. With this jutsu, he could do many things without the knowledge of Madara, who was keeping a close eye on him.

And with the virtue of this jutsu, he has managed to keep an eye on his little brother.

Sasuke had grown. But now where near enough to his liking. That's why when he found that his brother's team was coming to the land of waves, he decided to use this chance to give him a power up.

He had caught two mist shinobi scouting in the land of waves. From there memories he found that they were not the only one, whom Gato had messed with.

The hidden mist want something from him. Although, their mission was to scout ahead, they had no idea about the rest of the mission. Apparently another S ranked shinobi, Momochi Zabuza was also coming to the waves. That gave him another reason to stay. He didn't want Sasuke to come anywhere near wave with two wild S rank shinobi near him.

(AN: I Itachi didn't consider himself as a wild S rank shinobi)

He didn't reveal anything to Kisame. And simply used the demon brothers to achieve his own goal and sent them to scare away Kakashi's team.

But it was futile. He knew Kakashi was lax in most of the things. But it was not any ordinary case. It was the matter of his only little brother's safety. He has decided to punish Kakashi and teach him a lesson.

But for a moment things didn't go, as he has planned.

Zabuza has crossed path with Kakashi's team.

But the worst didn't happen.

Itachi saw everything that happened. He red their lips through his shared vision and learnt some interesting new information.

Firstly Zabuza is truly a demoness. Her physical strength is of the charts.

Her sword skills are not joke either. He didn't able to get any other information on her but this was enough to convince him that she is truly an S ranked shinobi.

For the first time, he saw his brother's teammates from close.

Naruto, the nine tails Jinjuriki, and a pink haired civilian girl with some decent medical skills.

He has assessed all of them, and from his assessment, the girl was the strongest among the three.

She was definitely hiding her skills. He decided to check it later.

But he focused on his current objective. Although everything didn't go as he has planned, but the situation wasn't all bad either.

Zabuza has some kind of yandere crush on Kakashi.

Although, her apprentice looked strong, she was not a threat.

Keeping those things in mind, the god of genjutsu, Itachi Uchiha made a new plan.

"So what are we going to do sensei ?

There is a S ranked enemy shinobi roaming on the island and we know nothing about her mission. Even if it is not related to Tazuna, it might be related to the bridge.

On top of that, the said shinobi is planning to rape you." Naruto recalled everything.

"Jokes aside, if Zabuza, truly takes it up to him to complete the mission, assigned to Gozu and Meizu, we are really screwed." Sakura was worried as well.

"Don't worry, you guys are worrying about the wrong thing.

Believe me, even if Gato had requested an assassination mission to hidden mist, Zabuza will never do it on her own. And I doubt it very much that they will deploy one of there S ranked kunoichi to an assassination mission of a civilian." Kakashi assured his team and decided to train them to distract them from scary thoughts. He has already reported the situation to the Hokage through pakun.

Technically retreating is the safest option.

But he has a feeling that it is not going to end up well for them if they retreat now.

And besides, the Hokage has agreed to send reinforcements for them.

Land of waves is nothing special. It's geographical position allowed it to stay out of the conflict for a long time.

But no matter what, it's very close to the land of fire. And the Hokage can't ignore the presence of a powerful ninja there.
