Chapter 54 – Fight with the gate guard

André and his group continued walking to the guard who guarded the gate while ignoring the murmurs of people around them, in a few moments they arrived right in front of the gate guard, the guard was a young boy who did not appear to be more than 16 years, 1.70 tall and short brown hair quite common without anything special his cultivation was only level 7 mage realm, he wore silver armor like the guards at the top of the wall but unlike them the young boy carried a double-edged sword with the length of 1 meter at the waist.

"—hey boy, would we like to get into town how much is the fee?" André spoke to the boy, but there was no answer, the boy seemed petrified as if he had forgotten how to breathe.

"—I would like to enter this city" André tried to speak to the guard again but unfortunately there was one more failure in this attempt.

"—Hey GUY TO SAY FOR GOD'S LOVE, WHEN IT COST TO ENTER THE TOWN" André spoke in an irritated voice for being ignored once again, but there was an unusual change in the situation.

"—please marry me" the young man who guarded the gate spoke loud and clear for all to hear.

"- WHICH IS?" André spoke scared with what he just heard the guard said to him.

"— wait a minute friend, hey I don't play for this team there" André looked at the guard with the same look as when he's in the front with a firearm aiming right in the middle of his forehead.

"—I'm not talking to you," the young guard said in a rather rude tone to Andrew as if he had just said the greatest offense.

"—it's her I'm talking to" the young guard said in a poll pointing the index finger of his right hand towards Maya, he looked at Maya with fervent eyes full of passion, with those emotions burning in his heart which he didn't he had no control, he  passed by André and Surr who were ignored by him, he reached Maya and stood there admiring, wishing and beholding the divine beauty of Maya that made his heart burn and made him a servant of those feelings.

"—My name is Magno Bestiare, and you are the woman who stole my heart, and with that I wish you to become my wife." marriage a totally strange woman whose name he doesn't know.

"—My lord, what does this man want from me?" Maya said as she turned to André in order to find out what the words of the man in front of her meant, as Maya has no knowledge of human customs as she has only recently obtained her human form.

"—he wants you to live with him forever and have children with him" André answered Maya's question in a simple and even childish way because he knew that Maya was completely ignorant about social conventions.

"—so that's it" Maya said after getting the answer to her question, then she looked at the young magnum, and gave a gentle and sweet smile, seeing that the young Magnus felt like the day was brighter and that the skies were about to hand him the most wonderful of gifts, but things took a completely different turn than what was going on in his mind.

"—I don't want to live with you forever or have children with you" Maya replied to the young man named Magno Bestiare who felt terrible, the world seemed wrapped in a dark cloak that reduced the sun's glare, his heart felt like it was wanting stop beating, his dreams seemed to have disappeared from inside his heart, this feeling only lasted an instant, but it was the most terrible moment of his life.

"— well, kid doesn't have to be like this, there are many fish in this sea, you'll certainly find yours" André said this to the young Magno after approaching him, André said this in order to alleviate the blow the young man just took in the heart that is probably your first love disappointment.

After hearing Andrew's comforting words, the young Magno turns towards him and speaks to him with an unfriendly face visibly angry and frustrated.

"—what is your relationship with that girl with white hair and golden eyes?" Magno asks André with a face of few friends and apparently harboring a grudge against André for some unknown reason.

"—she's my subordinate" despite the rude tone of the boy in front of him, André still answered his question.

"—then sell her to me" Magno spoke to André, in a commanding tone.

"- WHICH IS?" André said after listening to the boy's absurd lectures in front of him

"—you're deaf by chance, I said I want her" Magno said as he pointed at Maya.

"—I refuse to do that, and I look like a slave trader there,"' André replied.

"—I, I don't care, I just gave an order" Magno spoke in a voice high.

"—and I said I won't do it," André said in an irritated voice.

"—if you won't give it to me, I'll take it myself" the young Magno said, no longer patient enough to talk, he draws the sword he had on his waist and advances towards André with the intention of killing him, the plan from him it was simple to kill André and then take Maya to his house and fill her with his love, and make her fall in love with him, but he forgot one small detail, André was several levels stronger than him.

Magno was just someone from the wizard's kingdom level 7 poll André was already a magic king, that is, 3 cultivation kingdoms above his own, for André this kid's onslaught was just stupid stupidity, André wasn't a master of hand-to-hand combat but even he could see several weaknesses in this boy's attack, and that's exactly what Andre did he exploited one of those weaknesses.

Magnus advances with his sword extended to his right side with an intention to cut Andrew's waist and split him in half, when he was close enough to hit Andrew, his target moved first, not retreating or dodging but attacking.

André delivered a blow with his fist towards the pit of his attacker's stomach hitting his diaphragm, feeling André's powerful blow, Magno felt his lungs stopping and emptying for a few seconds, he dropped to his knees while squeezing his belly to bear the pain even his armor that was supposed to protect him was crushed by Andrew's fist, Magno struggled for a few seconds in an attempt to breathe but failed, he spat a few gulps of blood through his mouth and then fell to the ground unconscious but alive.
