126 Thoughts

2 weeks passed and nothing interesting happened, Leo simply relaxed in containment and thought about possible ways to escape meanwhile Adam kept observing him.

In all this time Leo hadn't revealed any of his shapeshifting capabilities and Adam was getting slightly annoyed because of it.

No new interviews had been scheduled after Adam lashed out.

In all honesty, Leo didn't even know if two weeks had passed, he was already disorientated because of the lighting switches.

Adam tried to convince Leo to show his true form or at least to shapeshift multiple times but would immediately stop talking about it once Leo brought up negotiations.

Leo didn't know why but didn't push in on it.

At the same time, Leo was connecting the dots when he saw the A-1 guard standing at the doorway.

He also figured that the reason he was captured was probably because an O5 ordered it.

Leo didn't really know which O5 ordered it yet but he figured that he would find out sooner or later.

He felt kind of honored because of it, usually, if a new SCP was identified an MTF would be dispatched under the order of a member of the administrative department or an MTF director/assistant director, not an O5.

Overseers rarely got involved with anything, the closest interaction most researchers had with an overseer would be having them approve of a containment procedure or to up a classification of an SCP, and during that process, they wouldn't even see them.

Up next would be the problem that Leo had no idea what to do once he escaped.

If MC&D wouldn't come to save him and he escaped by other means he would no longer be tied to them.

He would simply just change his form to that of a different person and not reveal the fact that he is a shapeshifter to anyone else, that way it would be way harder for MC&D to track him down.

At the same time, MC&D was Leo's major backing, without them, all he would have was a couple of million dollars and Noah, he didn't count the sarkic outpost he took over because they were weak.

Most of the followers didn't have any mutations that were capable of being used offensive, and there weren't a lot of them.

Going back to MC&D was a realistic option, but he really didn't want to.

This would be one of the most ideal ways to disconnect from MC&D.

By now they would probably know that Leo was contained by the foundation and where but they probably wouldn't dare to make a move by themselves.

Once they find out that Leo escaped containment they would definitely try to track him down in order to bring him back to MC&D but they would have no viable way of knowing where Leo went.

They might ask Noah but that would probably be their best and only move.

Leo was annoyed endlessly with this dilemma, he really didn't know what to do.

He put it in the back of his head for now, it wasn't his main priority since he first would have to escape, and that was a massive task on its own.

Leo also wanted to complete the tasks handed out by Sogrith and Ion since the rewards would be massive, however, he also knew that it would be a high-risk high-reward situation when it came down to Ion's task.

There was also another thing Leo wanted to do, which he considered to be pretty petty.

Since the foundation chose to capture him and "waste his time" he wanted to get back at them in some viable way.

Of course, he could disrupt and cause damage during his escape but that seemed to be a given.

He wanted to do something so unexpected that it would at least shock the overseer who chose to get him captured.

Leo shrugged all his thoughts off for now and chose to take a nap instead, after all, he would still be here for a while.

Little did Leo know that there was already a force being prepared to free him, however it wasn't a force he had met yet.

His freedom would come sooner than expected, but it would still take a while.
