Leo was satisfied with his reward for completing his mission but was way more interested in his next reward.

"Can you elaborate on what SCP shapeshift slots are?"

[SCP shapeshift slots will allow you to take the form of any creature that can be classified as an SCP and copy their power, however, there are some restrictions on the capabilities of this ability.]

Leo was quite restless since he wanted to meet Iris as soon as possible until this thought got shattered by a sudden thought.

"Wait... If I am getting something that is this strong that would most likely mean my next assignment will be hard as shit!"

Leo's motivation instantly vanished and now he was quite worried about his next assignment.

Leo got snapped out of his inner monologue when he heard the voice of Artemis

"Nightmare, did anything happen in the mansion?"

"No, Noah offered me a position to work privately for him and I refused."

"Ah, so that is why you were getting VIP treatment, me and Crawler were escorted to a different building. It was still nice, but nothing compared to the inner mansion." said Artemis.

Leo took a look at his shoulder, it healed in a really short time.

"Looks like I also regenerate more quickly."

Crawler was still feeling pretty bad and had some trouble moving around due to the wound in his abdomen, but he was fine.

The trip back to London went quite well, Leo, Artemis and Crawler were all sitting relaxed in the car.

Only when they arrived in Belarus they got on guard for a while, but they did not get ambushed again.

Officially this mission was considered a success, but to Artemis it was a loss.

Most of his squadmates got injured, but they got to take a break for a while.

When Leo arrived back in the Netherlands at the runway he was excited.

Not because he would learn about his next mission, but just because he would be back in complete safety for a while.

On the runway stood a blacked-out jet waiting for the squadron and the drivers.

Leo and the others quickly got in the jet and it departed as fast as it landed.

After flying for one and a half hours they arrived in England and after hopping into an unmarked vehicle they arrived back at HQ.

When Leo got out of the vehicle he noticed one person waiting for them.

There stood Pirate leaning on two crutches.

"Glad to see you guys are alright, I actually was quite worried for once." said Pirate.

"How are your injuries?" asked Crawler.

"I'm fine, the arterial bleeding was obviously stopped and right now I am just recovering from the injury, upper command informed me that we will be getting two weeks off in total due to our extended efforts."

Meanwhile everyone was catching up, Leo was looking into the distance.

He noticed two guards approaching their group with confidence.

When the two guards arrived at their group, they did not salute Artemis, putting Leo on guard.

This only had one meaning: These two guards were higher ranked than Artemis.

"Agent Nightmare?" questioned one of the guards.

Leo responded by raising his hand.

"Follow me, your presence is requested."

Artemis tried to interrupt the guards by questioning what they were doing.

"I am Artemis and agent Nightmare is part of my squad, may I be informed about what you are going to do with him?"

The guard looked at Artemis before responding.

"None of your interests, agent Nightmare will inform you about the necessary details later on."

The guards did not give anyone a chance to counter with another question and had already started walking away, Leo could not do anything except follow them.

Besides, Leo already had a solid idea of what this was all about.

Leo followed the guards in absolute silence and after a while, they arrived at a meeting room.

The meeting room was heavily guarded, there were guards at the entrance and when Leo entered the room there were four additional guards.

The room was dimly lit and Leo could make out one other person sitting in the chair at the opposite side of the room.

When Leo focused his eyes on this character he saw a middle-aged woman with white hair and dull eyes sitting on a chair.

It did not take long before the woman spoke.

"Leo, right? please take a seat."

The moment Leo heard this voice his suspicions were confirmed.

This was Iris Dark.
