50 Dining

The first thing Leo did was take off his tactical gear and lay down on the bed.

It had been a long time since Leo laid down on such a comfortable bed and he started drifting asleep, however right before he fell asleep he got up.

"Can't afford to fall asleep now, still have some stuff to do." thought Leo.

He stretched his body for a while before stripping his clothes and heading into the bathroom.

It had been a while since Leo had a proper wash, the last time was back in London.

In the vehicle, he would also "wash" himself but it was done by simply putting some water on a towel and cleaning his face.

After having a pleasant soak in the water of the bathtub for thirty minutes, he finally got out.

Leo walked towards the closet that was in his room and opened it.

He expected it to be empty, but it appeared that Noah was ready for guests.

The clothes in the closet appeared to have been in it for a long while, a lot of them were covered in dust.

Leo took a good look at the clothes in the closet and in the end, he chose a white blouse and some black pants.

The clothes ended up looking really good on him due to his muscular and well-toned body.

Leo sat down on his bed and not long after that a knock was heard on his door.

"Enter." spoke Leo.

A short, blonde maid entered the room and spoke to Leo.

"Sir Noah is waiting for you at the dining table, please follow me."

Leo nodded and got up from the bed.

He followed the maid and took a look at the mansion once again.

After five minutes of walking, they arrived in front of the door that led to the dining hall.

Two maids were in front of the entrance and they both bowed before Leo as he entered the dining hall.

Leo observed the hall firstly, it had the same style as his room and was quite large.

The table was covered with a bunch of different forms of food and Noah was sitting at the head of the table.

"I have fetched Sir Leo for you Sir Noah, I will be continuing with my duties." spoke the maid.

The maid bowed before Noah and quickly left the dining hall.

Leo pulled the chair at the other end of the table back and wanted to sit, but Noah interrupted him.

"Leo, feel free to sit next to me."

Leo pushed the chair back against the table and sat next to Noah.

The moment he sat down on the chair the door to the dining hall opened once again.

"Sir Noah, I have fetched sir Artemis and sir Crawler for you."

The maid once again bowed down before leaving the dining hall.

Artemis and Crawler took a seat at the table and Noah spoke.

"Gentlemen, you have gone through a long and hard journey, this is my way of repaying you for the troubles that the foundation caused you on your journey. Eat to your heart's content!"

Crawler and Artemis ate like a gentleman meanwhile Leo was gnawing on a piece of meat like a caveman.

Both Artemis and Crawler looked at Leo with displeasure, hoping that he would improve his manners meanwhile Noah could only laugh at Leo.

After an hour everyone was full and all the food was gone.

Alyona once again escorted Leo back to his room meanwhile Artemis and Crawler were both escorted back to their rooms by different maids.

"So, have you been enjoying your time so far sir Leo?" spoke Alyona coldly.

"It has been a grand time so far, Alyona." responded Leo.

Leo arrived back at his room and sat down on one of the chairs in his room.

He asked a maid to bring him a cup of tea and she arrived quickly.

Leo drank his tea in peace and watched some television, after a couple of hours he was about to go to bed when he once again heard a knock on the door.

Leo opened the door and was surprised to see Alyona at the door.

"Sir Leo, please follow me. Sir Noah wishes to speak to you in the living room."

Leo already had a feeling that something like this would happen and nodded before following Alyona.

After a while, they arrived in the living room and Alyona bowed and left.

"Guess it is time to go inside."
