suddenly a rough looking bag grabbing it it had a hefty weight compared to the size of the bag appeared infront of mich it looked small opening it, there was a void in the bag reaching his hand in it if was way deeper than possible also when he put his hand int it the list of every item was burned into mich's head only the potions were there observing the bag it showed

mich's tired face lit up with excitement he finally had an inventory though the weight part was kinda a downer

getting lumin and going back home mich took out the tether braking potion and observed it

although mich felt hesitant he drank the potion and went to bed suddenly he saw a light blue orb floating upwards and his body connected by a green glowing wire suddenly the wire snapped mich was floating in air he tried moving but he didn't have muscles so it did nothing after a bit

he thought about moving forward and he did move forward at fast speeds through the wall and castle into the town it was depressing really the whole town in ruins skeletons littering the street and monsters roaming around the city

going past that he saw a small hut painted green mixing in with the grass, the door broken through and windows smashed going into it he saw a untouched pristine beautiful painting of a bustling city at night seen afar from a boat on a lake, stars in the painting twinkling like actual stars must have been some kind of magic paint

looking down he saw a smashed skeleton with a paintbrush in hand and dried blood on the floor going closer to the painting a orange light flared up and turned into a wall

"I guess that's why it was in such a good condition"

going past the hut he saw a barren land where all monsters plants and animals were shriveled up and dead going In further mich saw a tree made of pure necrotic energy it suddenly started to suck him in mich fought back with all his might but the tree was stronger he whould have died if not for getting saved by the system

suddenly he felt that a rope pulled him back in seconds into his body he jumped out of the mattress with a cold sweat waking up lumin who was sleeping on top of him

"sorry buddy did I wake you up?"

after a few seconds they both went back to sleep

mich woke up with a plan in his mind to beat wave three with his good ol' pal runes

mich grabbed his rune making book and searched for poison runes tweaked some formulas and had a recipe for a custom made rune

grabbing a flat stone mich carved a circle with a drop shape in it

wearing his makeshift mask and a apron made from rags he grabbed the poison gland of the painbringing centipede and the blood of the swarmers put them in a mortar and pestle together and mixed them with each other until it was a foul smelling purple pulp then he put the pulp in a kiln and boiled away all the water in the pulp that left behind a deep purple-blue ish syrup that smelled even more foul and the steam made by this was still slightly poisonous so he had to do this far from his base putting the syrup in a bowl and heated it up by putting in next to the kiln

mich grabbed a makeshift brush made by some of his hair and a carved out bone dipped in the bowl and filled in the grooves of a couple of identical runes and left the runes out to dry after a day he put them in his inventory he replied his armor best he could and re sharpened his needle and and packed all the potion bandages left and there was barely any left and started to train
