Reincarnation?

As i float in the endless expanse of this endless void, i wonder what series of events led me here?

I was a rick and morty fan through and through and had watched every single episode it had and even joined several fan clubs of the rick and morty Show, but i never left my house and relied on my programming degree to temporarily join different small teams of game devs that are in desperate need of Experienced programmers for a cashflow from time to time and i did my work online ( idk i just need him to have a job or smthing )

and... i slept in my comfy bed one night after discussing the rick and morty scandal, i slept and never woke up

Pretty anticlimactic, right?

At first, i thought I was just dreaming, but i quickly found out that i could feel pain here

For some reason, my body is cold, like i have no body heat, and my skin is pale

so after a few years of waiting to return to my world, i realised, I am dead, i mean, it makes sense, cold body? Pale skin? endless dark void? probs dead

I wonder how i died in my sleep? assassination? nah, i didn't piss off anyone... or did i? Nope, i didn't

heart attack? probably

Soo... this is death? just an empty void?

No reincarnation, Chance? how about a system?

*sigh*

Fine systems are a Tad bit cliché but I'd rather have a system to be OP. Real fast, rather than being dead in a world like Marvel or Warhammer

As i say that, i spot a glowing bright light

Is that something else other than this EMPTY BORING VOID!?

FINALLY SOMETHING TO STOP THIS UNENDING BOREDOM

then the glowing light as it appeared, the light slowly Faded

WAIT WAIT

i say while i try to go towards it

(which is kinda hard since you dont have a floor to walk on, nor can i swim like it's water in this empty void)

but i managed to do it... somehow

as i arrive at the light, it's now as big as my hand, and when i tried to grab it, it grew bigger. REAL fast, and Flashbanged my eyes

When i tried to open my eyes and remove the white light that burned inside my retina

i hear a semi-familiar voice

"Mort- *Burp* -Rty"

"Wake up, Morty."

as i open my eyes, i see a man with... blue hair? Portal gun in his hand? and a lab coat, perhaps a cosplayer?

i mean, it looks pretty realistic? did the white light reincarnate me near a cosplay convention?

as i look at him

I ask

"Excuse me, can you please tell me where the nearest bus stop is, sir?"

i still need to figure out where i am, It looks like Im at a park or something there's scifi props all around me and... Prop Dead bodies?

Wow, this looks so realistic, i may need to revisit this park when i figure things out

maybe the park is hosting the cosplay convention? or something, i dont know how they plan those or how they work

the guy in the lab coat says

"What are you talking about mo- *Burp* -orty?"

I replied with:

"Could you Point me To the exit of this park And where the Nearest bus stop is? i may need help exiting it because all of this looks so realistic! Even the fake blood!"

The blue haired guy replies with:

"What Park? Ar- *Burp* -re you an idiot mo- orty?, there is n- *Burp* park!?"

i reply with:

"Then how do you explain this?"

i gesture to the realistic scifi props and fake dead bodies

he replies:

"I knew i shouldn't hav- *Burp* -ave Erased your memory... to- *Burp* -o much"

i reply:

"Huh?"

then i finally looked down at myself, and i was wearing a yellow shirt, and my arms were skinny

i immediately looked at the nearest reflective material (which was a shiny metal helmet from one of the dead bodies)

then i see.....

(idk if i should continue to the next chapter, but it's late for me, so ima go sleep)
