Seeing she finally calmed down, Vivan stopped teasing her.

"Close your eyes." His voice was warm as a spring breeze. Yet it failed to entice her.

She widened them instead when he grabbed her hand.

Ira stared at his lower abdomen with hatred. What if she closed her eyes, and he placed her hand there? At this moment, impossible!

"No," she muttered under her breath.

Vivan scratched his head when he realized the site her eyes were focussed on. He felt his scalp tingling. What was this woman thinking? I am not that shameless.

"Trust me!"

She shook her head. You can't have your cake and eat it too. He wished to tease as well as be sincere at the same time.

Had he done many deeds inconsistent with his gentleman's temperament that she no longer looks at him without doubts?

"Okay" He sounded exhausted and powerless. Vivan pointed to the table, her eyes inadvertently moved there.
