3 Death and Isekai Truck Services

Wandering back home after a long night out, having just been with my friends. Chilling and relaxing with one another, while we were appreciating each other's company in these trying times. We all began heading our separate ways.

Looking both ways before crossing, a truck came into view. It gave off a mystical vibe;

sleek with a metallic colour to it, it's body was long, accompanied by a set of wheels as a distinct logo came into view. "Isekai truck services" Crashing right into me, I violently fell; collapsing onto the ground I gasped for air.

Doubting that the ambulance would come in time to rescue me. Even if they did, I would soon die right after. Considering the state in which my body was left in the first place. My bones were crushed into pieces while piercing through the skin, glancing down, and checking the state my legs were in. I could tell I'd be paralyzed for life if I'd survived this ordeal, feeling very numb because of it. My upper-body shouldn't even be looked at seeing the sight in which it was in. But, what was there to expect? I was hit by a large truck possibly weighing over 10,000 pounds. I'm surprised I'm even alive!

Seeing the crimson liquid pooling out and flooding the pavement below didn't surprise me. It probably looks like a snow angel below me, only instead of snow, it was made with a healthy contribution of blood. The elixir of which had transported small goodies of oxygen around my body now lay sinking into the road below me. Its job was to prevent my body from shutting down and keep it alive, now had stopped working. My fight-or-flight reflex quickly kicked in, adrenaline and cortisol were being released, speeding the heart rate, slowing digestion, shunting blood flow to major muscle groups, and changing various other autonomic nervous functions, giving my body a burst of energy and strength. But it was just my body's desperate attempt to survive. A pitiful one knowing all too well that death was closing near.

Slowly and painfully my life ended. Or what remains of my life was left, as the last spark of consciousness from my pupils vanished. Anyone who saw the situation and gory state in which my body was would be shocked as well as mortified for days to come.

After what seemed like a while, someone finally called an ambulance. While carrying away my dead body; a snow angel of blood was left in its spot. Family members alike mourned for my death with friends not too far away. Slowly the lowering of the coffin in which my body stayed was seen. With tears hitting the ground below and the news announcing my death as a tragic scene. Especially because of how my body was left in the process. It was just another sad story that will be forgotten and only remembered by people close by.

R.I.P

Leo Aster

A good friend, son, and brother. May your soul rest in peace in the light which shines above.

After my encounter with the mighty isekai truck and my life-ending. A powerful feeling of dread entered me, my being suppressed by whatever was exerting such force and pressure to make me feel such a way.

This being was tall, it's stature was towering over mine. Appearing to be over 50 meters in height, maybe even taller? When it spoke, its voice was powerful. Each word sounded like something unable to be deciphered. The harder I seem to have tried to comprehend what it meant, the harder it was for me to think. The cogs in my brain were turning and starting to overheat, the words which the God-like being had said were stuck in my head. A better word for it was more like drilled forcefully with a hammer.

Beating and abusing every brain cell, nerve, and every crevice lurking about in my system, which had anything to do with my body. It was like I was being processed and healed on repeat. Grinding, turning, twisting, and stretching. Stimulation of my nerves went haywire, preventing me from falling unconscious. My metabolism didn't seem to want to stop rising. As fat burned away with my skin tightening around my muscle fibres. Large amounts of dopamine were released, nerve cells had been connecting for a single goal. Every one of them was sending signals; passing information to each other for just, one, goal.

Then...

Something happened like a lock was suddenly lifted for the first time. With a click, my mind was clearer than ever. My exhausted thinking box finally shut down and completed the task which deemed it so important. With a final sigh of relief, I could rest not wanting to feel such pain once again.

It felt warm, this feeling was comforting and familiar as if from a past life. It embraced me, this liquid substance surrounded me and cared for me. Then another feeling of warmth radiated from within me, it was an almost sun-like feeling. A close source of energy, while not the same but I could feel connected to it. Two separate bodies that seem to consist and share this body of water. Or whatever the liquid-like substance was. I couldn't help but reach out.

A hand, yes a small hand like my own. I realized that I was reborn and that this person was possibly my twin sibling. I decided to use this energy. Maybe this was because of what happened with my counter with the entity which I had met?  The feeling within my mind which was lifted could have done something to me? Like a sonar from a submarine, I could see what was happening outside my enclosure.

A beautiful woman, her skin was like the smoothest stone. Crafted by gentle hands. Silk-like hair fluttered in the wind gold in colonization, her caring smile whenever she touched her belly seems to have lit up with warmth. The same warmth surrounded me. I felt a strange connection to her, emotionally but also physically as shown by my umbilical cord. This person was my mother, as her feelings of love seem to also affect me. Indulging in the feeling of sentimental love was nice. But using the energy within me for the first time I felt drunk with fatigue, I rested myself. While also holding my sibling's hand, enjoying the feeling which was provided by the enclosure of the womb.

Leto's POV

Rubbing my stomach, knowing that my two bundles of joys were there made me happy. Unable to rest anywhere to give birth, cursed by Zeus's wife Hera in her rage towards her husband's infidelity. I couldn't give birth to either of them, as everywhere I went she would curse the land while I was being pursued by a large reptilian dragon whose purpose was to hunt us. While I could easily reform after death. My children could not, not knowing how to reform they would DIE!

Before I knew it, that bastard of a Python attacked me. Using my reflexes to escape the impact of the attack, I quickly punched its eye making it hiss out in pain. While it was distracted, I ran away using complex routes to confuse the python. This should allow me a couple of days away from it. I used multiple ways to transverse my surroundings, zig-zagging quickly between tall trees to further hinder it when following me. Not wasting any of the time in which I had to get it off my trail. Avoiding it to escape its clutches, and to find a place to give birth to my children.

Now that I could better focus on what was around me. Noticing as the Python was at a reasonable distance away from me. I saw something in the distance, a island floating. This was the safest place that I could retreat to, this would let me escape Heras pursuit.

Later on, this place would be known as Delos, a sacred place that will soon be known as Apollos and Artemis birthplace.
