the system repeated waiting for an answer, of course, Zal just bit the message but I took that as a yes and zal felt pain 'why voice hurt' zal though as he ran back into the cave looking for something to give him comfort after a few hours his DNA upgrade was over and he felt warm until the voice came back [DNA changed: strengthened muscles, voice modulation(roar), strengthened teeth, insulation, warm blooded|stats stolen 2 int].

now zal was a bit smarter but his primal instinct was passive so he was not that smart. now zal was angry at the voice and bit it but it just materialized again 'warmth' zal thought as he walked out of the cave and laid down on his back for a while but soon zal had a new motive 'water' zal was thirsty and needed water so he sniffed and walked towards a wet tree he sniffs the tree and walks into the swamp.

as soon as he entered the swamp there were puddles but for some reason, there was nothing to swim in this made zal mad so zal kept walking as now he was determined to swim so he started running further into the swamp desperate to swim now zal was getting tired but he kept running until he found what he wanted and jumped in the swamp.

zal did not know why he was compelled to do this but he just did but sense zal did not know how to swim he sunk to the bottom of the swamp but he did not give up he tried and tried and tried until [a small part of hosts DNA being awakened: webbed feet|swimming skill learned] and he began to swim he instantly swam to the top of the water and calmed down.

soon a new creature swam towards zal and put zal in its mouth without zals knowledge. as soon as zal realized where he was he panicked and wriggled to try to escape until he looked down and saw a bunch of creatures that resembled him but different they looked like crocodiles with a fin on their back and sharptails.

'hungry' zal thought as he bit one of the creatures and quickly ripped and swallowed it and heard a ding [lesser dragon bloodline being absorbed into bloodline things gotten: gills, minor dragon authority, draconic swamp ki].

zal bit the message and continued wriggling until the creature stopped and let zal and the other creatures out now zal was sleepy so he instantly went to sleep
