Domination and the search for Gods

A/N: In case anyone is confused with some things in the chapter remember I made it that humans, aren't really evolved yet

JUNO POV:

I had been drifting in space for god knows how long. I spent a few years travelling to planets and settling down for a couple decades and then once again leaving to explore the ever expanding universe. I was currently in my ships chambers, sat down as I had just got back from a planet that was kind of similar to Earth except from the fact that they had completely green skin and pitch black eyes, if I didn't know any better I would say that they were Martians.

I was about to put myself in stasis, so that I wouldn't have to suffer from the feeling of boredom as I travelled to the next planet. I could teleport to the planet and travel at speeds that surpass the speed of light, but I mean what's the point? It's not like I was in a hurry as things of importance rarely happened in this time period.

I felt my consciousness fading away, as I was entering stasis but the suddenly felt something of evil intent. Something was off. I felt a dark presence around me. The same cold feeling, that I felt when I resurrected the dead.

I found myself in a void, completely black with no light in sight. I sent out a beam of energy, just to see that it seemed to carry on as there was no detonation. No matter how hard I tried, I could not hit anything. I was completely helpless.

???: Celestial....

???: CELESTIAL!!!

I turned around to see a 8'10 figure stood in front of me. He had pitch black armour with a red spider like symbol on his chest. He had unbelievably pale white skin and hair and completely red eyes. It was him, the being who would hunt and kill Celestials for ruining the abyss and creating life.

a/n: If any of you guys are confused, when I say the abyss I am referring to what the universe was like before the celestials started to mess with planets and create life.

It was Knull the malevolent deity who was the former ruler of the abyss. Out of pure instinct, I fired a beam of energy towards him, I knew that it would damage him but I had to see were I was, in terms of strength compared to him. To my surprise, he held out his hand and released a black mass that absorbed my energies.

I watched in horror, as his body began to grow larger and larger as my energy was now giving him power instead of damaging him. Before I could send out another wave of energy, he raised his finger and released a black mass in the shape of sphere. I watched as it began to hurl towards me at ever increasing speeds.

As it hit, it began to spread across my armour, almost as if it was corrupting me. I saw that my once pinkish red cosmic energy was now darkening and matching the same aura as Knull. My skin began to corrode and go crusty as it felt as if my life force was being drained.

I fell down on both my knees, as this was the first time I had been ever exposed to this kind of pain and suffering. Black liquids began to flow out of my body. Now I knew.

This was what it was like, to go against the rule of the Abyss. This was what it was like to face the wrath of Knull.

'Is this the end?' I thought to myself as my surrounding began to crack and collapse.

''ARGHGHGHGGHGH''

I sat up looking around, I was still in my ships chambers was that a vision of an inevitable future or was someone trying to warn me?. I quickly scanned my body to see if I was affected by what I had just experienced be it real or not.

This was another reminder of what the genocidal maniac was like. Even though I was powerful, I still needed a companion. A partner someone who could fight along side me in the future.

I had sent a message to the Engineers to start forming peaceful relationships with other races across the galaxy as when the time for war came I would need an army, of mortals and gods.

I needed to start forming alliances with many beings and the first would be the gods, starting with the Olympians. I quickly changed co-ordinates and started to travel to Earth. As the ships speed was nearing lightspeed, I began to warp space itself for a shorter trip. This method of travel, was similar to how in guardians of the galaxy they would jump through space.

2 MIN TIMESKIP.

I was now at Earth, and to my disappointment some continents were not fully formed, but it mattered not. I parked my ship on the moon and began to fly down to Earth, while shapeshifting into my more humane form.

I landed on a mountain and looked around the area, if humans weren't evolved there should be at least be some sign of deviants, Eternals or minor gods.

I travelled across the land searching for some sign of evolved beings. Minutes turned to hours and hours turned todays, I was beginning to lose patience as the only things I had seen were the apes which were most likely de-evolved humans or Neanderthals.

In a spur of anger, I unintentionally released huge amounts of energy which caused the ground to split apart and form many sinkholes. ''HOW DARE YOU DEFILE MY LAND''. I turned to look for where the voice was coming from but could not find it's source. Well that was until I looked at the ground below me.

I looked down to see a the face of a woman engraved on the ground looking at me, with murderous intent. ''Who the hell are you supposed to be?'' This was the first time I had ever encountered a woman in the ground shouting at me. Damn, even in this world girls will never give me a break I thought to myself as I knew I was now in for a ton of bullshit.

''I am the Elder God GAIA and you, have defiled my land with your idiotic outburst you are just like those gods who neglect their duties, when Kronus ruled over the Earth he actually got the job done but now Zeus will be the death of us all!''

''Zeus?.... I killed him''
