59 Chapter 58: Dragonstone

(1,200 words)

- Viserys Targaryen POV -

- Dragonstone - Crownlands - Westeros - 284 A.D -

Why us? Those bastards! My brother only escaped with his love, but those jealous fellows started a war with him and my father, who bravely sacrificed himself to save us!

"Your Highness" one of my loyal men told me. He knows I am a dragon. "Her Majesty Rhaella is giving birth" he repeated. He was Ser Willem Darry. Red Keep's master-at-arms.

"She does!" I exclaimed a little excited. My sister would probably be my wife, so I'm excited to finally meet her. I hope to have as prosperous a relationship as our parents did.

"Yes Your Highness, please follow me," Darry said at my side. A furious storm was raging in the fortress, so I was a little nervous.

- Willem Darry POV -

The local Maester thought it would be a girl, so Her Majesty Rhaelle would name her Daenerys. Daenerys Targaryen.

But despite the good news, I was not happy at all. That's because one of my men had heard that the Lords of Dragonstone wanted to sell us to Robert as a pardon. Those damned traitors... They are a descendant house of the Targaryens. People forget their origins too easily.

So after a time of childbirth, we had to leave without a doubt. The problem was, where to.

At first the best option would be Braavos. Since the king's claws do not reach there. But for several years now Braavos and the rest of the Free Cities have belonged to one man. Percival Bolton, who murdered Rhaegar Targaryen with an arrow in an extremely cowardly way... But he is still our only option, so there is nothing to do about it.

One day later...

Her Majesty had died in childbirth, and our fleet had been almost completely destroyed by the great storm by the time Her Highness Daenerys was born.

Right now we were escaping, Daenerys, Viserys, Crete the maid along with four soldiers and me. It was a gamble to use the storm to escape as there was a high risk of getting lost in the deep waters. But our ship, Her Highness's staff, was more prepared than the usurpers' fleet. It was all or nothing.

"Calm down Your Highness! I will protect you and your sister!" I said to His Highness Viserys with determination. But since he lost his mother his eyes were sadder and duller. He was no longer the arrogant and energetic boy of before who kept his character even after losing his older brother and father. His mother was a much harder blow....

We could only pray to reach Braavos safely, and pass unnoticed from Percival Bolton's eyes.

- Robert Baratheon POV -

- Kingslanding - Crownlands - Westeros - 284 A.D -

"You useless bastard!" I shouted at Lord Manderly in front of me. The idiot had captured Dragonstone from the damned Bolton but had failed to capture the Targaryen! It was the worst possible situation.

"I... I'm sorry Your Highness," the fat man said to me as he knelt down. That bastard...

"Sorry doesn't cut it!" I shouted angrily as I threw my wine glass to the floor. Making it rumble around the place.

"Calm down Robert, we'll sort that problem out in the future" Jon said next to me, but you could see the annoyance on his face. The whole siege had been a waste of resources.

"I hope so..." I grunted.

- Percival Bolton POV -

- Braavos - Free Cities - Essos - 284 A.D -

"It's good to finally be home" I muttered with a smile as I looked out over my beautiful city. I had left some men at Dragonstone, 5,000 to be exact, so I had only returned with half of them. Plus the approximately 16,000 captured, of course. So, when I left the place I still hadn't been captured. But I knew it was a matter of time, and I just left the men there. I wanted to be in Braavos when my guests arrived.

"Percy!" Ashara said with a smile, but there were hints of sadness in her eyes.

"Ashara, it's good to see you" I said with a smile. I hadn't had a good fuck in a while.

"It's good to see you too... I wanted to ask you about..." she tried to tell me, but I interrupted her.

"Your brother?" I said, and her eyes widened for a moment and then she nodded. "Well... The last time I was in Westeros he was missing, probably with the Stark girl. So I don't know what to tell you," I replied.

"I... I understand" she answered me in a sad tone as he lowered his head.

"Shh... Easy girl. Remember I'm with you" I said with a gentle smile. It wasn't a really genuine smile, but it had something at least. I liked the girl and it made me uncomfortable to see her so sad.

"Thank you" she said with a tear falling as she hugged me.

That same night, we had had wild sex, only to go on a romantic date the next day.

"Percy, do you think I should come home for a while?" she asked me with doubt in his eyes.

"Because of your siblings?" I asked her. For, besides Arthur, she had Allyria and Clarence Dayne. The latter being the Lord of Starfall. Well, I think she also had an uncle. A Gerold Dayne. Or was he a cousin?

"Yes, I want to see Allyria," she answered.

"Well... you can, but I don't know if it's good for you to go to Dorne considering that they fought on the side of the rebels" I told her, giving her space to think.

When the appointment was over, I went to see another person I hadn't seen in quite some time....

- Elia Martell POV -

"It's good to see you" a voice said to me from behind as I stroked my sleeping daughter, and despite all the time, I could recognize that voice. It was the voice of my savior.

"Percival!" I said out loud, but was instantly quieted by my daughter.

"It's good to see you again Elia," he said smiling at me. It was her exciting and dangerous smile that matched her pitch black eyes.

"Me too... Really... Thank you!" I said with a truly sincere smile.

"Relax, it's a relief that you're okay," he told me.

"But... Why? Why did you save me?" I asked him, and he put on a confused expression.

"I think it's an opportunity to have a friendly relationship between the two of us," he told me with a smile and narrowed eyes. "Between you and me, and between Free Cities and Dorne" he repeated. And I could understand that. I don't deny that there might be something sentimental, but the real action was diplomacy with Dorne. But I'm glad all the same. Thanks to him my daughter is not dead, or a worse fate perhaps.

"Well, whatever the reasons I thank you. But... When are we going back to Dorne?"

"Elia..." he said to me in a serious tone. "What do you think would happen if you returned to Dorne?"

"I..."

"War, Elia. War against Dorne since they want your head and your daughter's. You'll be much safer here until everything calms down, which may be ten years or more. But in a little over a year I can send a letter to your brother, or a garrison with the message" he told me, and I thanked him again.

Percival Bolton POV -

After Elia, I went to see my four year old dragons. They are almost grown up now... That means that i will be able to use them.
