36 Chapter 36
Bai Yuoran,in a few minutes had made friends and connections with nearly everybody. Maybe not genuine but it still happened.
After the shock wore off, people started doing the important work, making connections. This was still business and Bai Yuoran was very influential so people naturally overlooked his intentions.
"Hello President Lin," Bai Yuoran said as he stretched his hand towards Lin Jingxuan for a handshake after the meeting.
The two people he hadn't talked to yet were him and Lin Meilin.
"Hello, Mr. Bai," Lin Jingxuan replied. There wasn't an ounce of resentment or pride. The man didn't show him he was curious about him but instead showed he recognized the hard work Bai Yuoran did.
He also didn't seem like he had ulterior motives,the man was just as Lin Yue Ling had described, unbiased.
Yue Ling was called later in the night by Bai Yuoran who was just informing her on how things went.
Before,when she asked Yi Shuyan to sign the handover documents to transfer her shares,the woman didn't even hesitate.
She simply asked what Yue Ling planned to do and understood when her daughter said she couldn't tell her.
In her past life,her mother did the same thing. All along, Yi Shuyan was holding onto the Hospital's shares to give them to her daughter someday.
That night, Du Tian went to the police station and picked up his daughter and wife and they went to his home.
The next morning, Yue Ling and Yi Shuyan left for the Yi mansion to attend the meeting.
Yi Rong welcomed them inside and they met Yiren and Bingbing.
Yi Rong was the one who explained to Yi Shuyan exactly why the meeting was held.
They were all surprised by her reaction,she wasn't angry but surprised.
"Yue Ling, are you okay with it?" she asked her daughter.
"Yes mother,it's the most convenient,I agree with it" she replied. She was also surprised by how easily her mother took things.
"Yue Ling has grown up father,she can decide on her own," Yi Shuyan said.
"I perfectly understand that but what do you think about this,does it bother you," Yi Rong asked. He didn't want to do anything without knowing her feelings. They had just reunited and he didn't want the same thing to happen again.
"I'm okay with it because it's good for my daughter father," Yi Shuyan said as she started crying.
Yi Rong embraced his daughter again for the first time in several years.
"I am sorry father,I shouldn't have avoided you," she said again.
She had always known from the very beginning that they were both wrong. But making things different, Yi Rong never stopped helping her in secret.
She was unfair all along, he had raised her alone and she knew how much he adored her.
"I guess it was all meant to happen,I was wrong too," Yi Rong said. He had also put away the pride.
Yi Shuyan looked at her children,more specifically her daughter and niece and nephew.
They had all left that place where she and her father were to give them a bit of privacy.
She had cried today, in front of others. And her father still did the same thing he did whenever she cried, embracing her.
Things weren't even awkward anymore.
Yi Shuyan agreed instantly because she didn't want to be selfish. What was good for her wasn't good for her daughter. She didn't have the right to decide for her but to guide her when she went wrong.
The family had lunch together before the lawyer arrived and they handled the legal procedures.
"Mother,where is Yaoha," Lin Jingxuan asked. His sister and niece were missing since yesterday,those two were very spontaneous at everything so there was no way they'd be around and he wouldn't notice.
Wang Changli frowned at the question. She wanted to have tea with her son in peace but he had to mention the two leeches. She obviously didn't know where they were because she didn't follow Lin Yaoha to the police station,she didn't want to get embarrassed.
And when she sent somebody to pick them up later last night,they were no longer there.
"I don't know where they are since yesterday," she replied.
Her answer made Lin Jingxuan wonder. It was one thing if only one of them wasn't around but both, without telling anyone.
Lin Yaoha could do whatever she wanted because she was old enough but Lin Qinqing had to ask for permission from either his mother or him.
"Did something happen?" Lin Jingxuan couldn't help but scratch his head as he asked. His family always seemed to attract one problem or the other.
"Son, didn't you see what happened yesterday on the internet," Wang Changli asked.
Lin Jingxuan didn't even know how to reply. He managed to make sure nobody found out the problems the company was facing.
If Wang Changli knew what happened,she'd know better that he didn't have the time.
He used his phone to check what happened but didn't find anything. Maybe it wasn't that much of a big deal,he thought.

His mother was comfortably having her tea and using her phone.
It's like it didn't bother her. Something came into his mind.
His mother never seemed to care much about the two, even when they were younger, Lin Yaoha was always punished by her even before she knew the whole truth.
This seemed to be beyond anything simple. He decided to do something to find out. There must be another reason why Lin Yaoha didn't get Hospital shares as inheritance.
"Eat something,dear," Lin Yaoha said as she fed her daughter the soup.
Lin Qinqing was the happiest yesterday. Other than her bad day and bruises,she was doing quite well.
Her father had bought her mother a luxurious condo. She couldn't believe her mother didn't tell her such important information.
Everything about this house screamed money.
It couldn't compare to the Lin mansion but this was different,it was theirs. She couldn't wait for her mother to get married because you never know, she might get her own.
When Lin Yaoha saw the excitement and happiness on her daughter's face.
She vowed to make it last. It hurt her seeing her daughter excited about such menial things when they belonged to a rich family. These were all things she had to be used to.
But just because her mother didn't treat them well,her daughter grew up admiring while Lin Meilin got anything she wanted.
Her mother had been more than just unfair. She felt free to finally have her own place.
Remembering back then when she was still pregnant her mother always reminded her all the time just how big of a disappointment she was.
