It was the time for the sun and its rays to say goodbye once again and the moon and the stars to arrive in the sky in the carriage of darkness which stays there till the morning.

"Leo! where are you even taking me?" the girl who was blindfolded asked when she stumbled over a rock on the grass ground but because of her lover who was standing behind her she was saved.

"Can't i take this off?"she asked him. There was nothing but the colour black before her eyes and she had to take every step carefully. Afraid she was to fall but her trust lied in Leo who was there with her.

"Okay. You can take it off now"

Hearing her lover's voice she quickly took the piece of fabric off from here eyes and was mesmerized to see the beautiful sunset in front of her. In addition to the lovely sunset the dancing waves in the nearby lake also played their part in making Julia wonderstruck. She had always been an admirer of nature and had also seen many sparkling things which people considered more beautiful than the beauty of nature but since this view was a small gift from her lover she smiled. She turned to Leo when the boy fell on one knee making Julia astonished.

"Is this it?. Is the moment i have been waiting to experience?" Julia closed her eyes with the hope of seeing something dazzling and shiny in Leo's hand when she opens them again. Expecting this she slightly opened her eyes to peek but all her excitement was crushed like a can on the street when she saw a pink flower in Leo's hand.?

"Is there anything else?"she questioned him trying to look at the other hand which he had behind his back in hope that this was small joke before the real surprise took place but was saddened to see that his other hand was all empty.

Julia sat on the grass ground,her eyes on the sunset. The smile which she had on her face disappeared in an instance and Leo noticed that.

"You know you are like this flower" She stated in a low tone gently touching the soft petals of the flower he gave her.

"Your so pretty but whenever i try to touch you your spicky thorns prick me and i get my heart broken. Maybe because i want something more from you"

"I expect something more from you" Julia added in her statement

"To me its the opposite" Leo took the flower from her hand and purposely made his finger get pricked by its thorns. The layers of his skin were cleanly pierced by the thorn and his blood came out from the place.

"Your the flower who is so beautiful but whever i try to come near you your evil stepfather sends his men to threaten me" Leo said and wiped the blood from his index finger to which Julia letted out a deep sigh

"I don't know why he is against us being together"Julia spoke fixing her silver earrings which were studded with valuable red jewells.

"Maybe because....Iam so rich and don't you know that iam the dangerous mafia king Thomas who has a lot of pimples on his face.My fabulous daughter Julia deserves the best.How can i let her get married to a rascal like him!?" Leo imitated Julia's stepfather making her chuckle

"Stop he isn't like that"Julia hitted him,not too hard

"If only you knew what i have to hear from his men everytime" Leo said and turned his eyes from the sunset to the lake.

"I wish we can be together" was the sentence which first took place in Julia's heart and then came out of her mouth.

"We will be together" Leo assured her but in reality both of them had no idea if this wish of theirs would be fulfilled or not.

Julia was lost in the enchanting scene when suddenly Leo kissed her cheek making her surprised but she secretly enjoyed it. She made eye contact with Leo and made her eyebrows come closer to her eyelids.

"You know what i really want from you" Julia pouted and Leo found her cute.He poked her cheek and said

"You will get it...soon" Hearing this Julia's eyes lighted a spark in them

"Is it my birthday present?" She was eager to know his answer but instead of giving her a complete answer he said one word

"Maybe" He got up from the ground.His eyes still set on what's infront of him

"That is not an answer and where are you going?" Upon her question Leo replied

'Iam going home"

"This quick?" Whenever they got to spend time together they would atleast make one hour belong to them so him leaving quick today was unusual for Julia.

"You know that i have my duties" He placed his hands on Julia's shoulders

"I know" She gloomily looked down when suddenly Leo cupped her face. Her eyes were locked with his hazel brown one's.Instead of getting butterflies in her tummy she had fireworks exploding.

"I promise next time when we meet i will spend more time with you" He tucked some of the loose strans of Julia's silky light chocolate hair behind her ear which wore earrings in return to which Julia gave him a smile.

"You have the whole life to spend with me and i know that you keep your promises"

"Bye and takecare" Leo held Julia's hand in his grip and then letted it be free. He then walked away leaving Julia there when

"You too!" She shouted.Her voice was loud enough to enter Leo's ears who looked back at her.

"I will if your stepfather leaves me alone" Soon he vanished from her sight and she went back to the cofee shop from where she came especially just to meet Leo. Her father's secretary was supposed to arrive there and she knew that if he didn't find her there than his big brain would suspect that she met Leo which meant trouble for her and her lover. To avoid that trouble she increased her walking speed and quickly reached the cafe. She went inside the place and sat on the table which was reserved for her. Julia felt relieved to know that Chris had not arrived there yet. She sat there comfortably sipping on her hot tea in the fancy cup while looking at the world outside the clear glass window waiting for the man to arrive.
