Chapter 1: History of Jian Orphanage.

Miss Abberly's POV

I felt the warmth of the sunlight bursting from the halfly closed windows. I knew it.

I had slept in-again.

I sighed as I got out of the comfy bed and took in the beauty of how my room looked when the sun was up in the sky.

It had a amber glow to its touch and the chirping birds and spring water from the fountain outside from downstairs just gave off the ever green summer vibe.

And I loved it!

I put on my comfy slippers and wadded my way to the bathroom. After washing up, I stepped out of my tiny bungalow and spotted my car amongst the six other cars in the family Garage.

A minute later, I was inside the SUV and I stepped on the gas pedal and drove straight to the heart of the Orphanage.

Yes, I live in an Orphanage.

It didn't take long to reach the main hall of the Orphanage. Since it was already ten am, The buildings seemed empty because All the children and teens had gone to the nearby school and the wardens, cooks, cleaners and others were in their quarters resting for the day till it time for lunch and supper. I stopped my car at the entrance and proceeded to enter the hall.

Everywhere was painted orange, cream and white. Basically all the buildings in this Orphanage was that color.

My Father; My Foster Father actually, He built this orphanage out of guilt and love but he died at a young age. Back then, about 20 years ago, My Father had made a fortune overseas and he had no successor whatsoever because he never loved. And he was a boy abandoned by his parents at 12 years of age.

He forced himself through the crowd of humiliation and treacherous ways of the world and finally made a name for himself ten years later. When he was almost thirty and no woman had caught his eye, He almost lost hope of this world.

Then, he went on a vacation in Country Q because it is known to have the best weather and climate in the world, He wanted to relax and think through his life over again.

Though he was popularly known in his home Country, He wasn't really known in Country Q, So it was a bit easy to be conspicuous some times.

Abby : <This is my best part🤭>

During Autumn, it was very breezy that even when Father wanted to dress up casually just to get ice-cream a few blocks from his house, he still put on a coat and a scarf, and with that he made his way to the ice-cream truck.

It was almost Night and the wind picked up. Father had already bought his ice-cream and he then thought to make it to the local park. By the time he got there, it was already dark. So he sat on a bench, away from the street lights and licked his ice-cream in peace.

He had bought a big cup of ice-cream and a small spoon so it took relatively long for him to finish it. However, he never finished it, because at the this moment, he saw a beat up car pull up at the side of the park. A woman came out of the car and dropped a baby on one of the benches of the park.

But,

At this breezy hour?!

Can this lady not be so cruel?!!

He looked into the cup of ice-cream that was in his hands and found a small amount remaining. When he looked back up, the car had already started driving away....

Huh?

Is this even allowed?

The baby sat on the bench which had street lamp that just so happened to be shining vibrant orange on the baby's figure. The woman had wrapped the baby up in shawls so it was a bit okay?
