80 CHAPTER 77(The Other Half)

CHAPTER START---

Rushing toward Sasuke's Susanoo Jin focuses his gaze on the Uchiha.

In a mad dash he puts everything he can into his speed only for something new to happen.

"I CAN SEE YOU!" Sasuke's manic voice almost causes the ground to tremble.

Jin was less than a blur like always, but Sasuke's new Sharingan could see him clear as day, and what he could see, he could shoot.

Bolt after bolt is fired from Susanoo's crossbow.

Jin can't hide his surprise at the absurd accuracy. He barely manages to dodge the first two before he anchors himself to the ground with chakra and holds his hands out.

'Gakido'

His barrier absorbs the chakra constructs, at least the first two from the volley.

On the third bolt, a splitting headache strikes him, Sasuke's chakra being taken into his system and assimilated, the newly awakened Indra Chakra.

Taking a direct hit from the fourth bolt he gets knocked through dozens of meters of stone rubble before he skids across the ground on all fours. Gritting his teeth and scrunching his face, a rare sight for the usually stoic Jin in combat.

But the pain was too great, his charka felt like it was fighting, his natural chakra and the strange chakra he got from Naruto were already at odds, now Sasuke's was making it a three-way brawl inside him. He could feel it being uneven, he needed more of Sasuke's chakra to balance it out.

As he finally refocuses his mind he hears stone cracking and winds rushing. He can feel the earth shake under his feet, looking up he sees the Susanoo now out of the rubble, sprinting faster than anything that tall had any right to.

'I thought this was supposed to be about ninjas, now he's a mech...' Jin thinks to himself as he claps his hands together.

'Shurado Attack'

As his palms meet both hands break apart before emerging into one massive chakra cannon. Sasuke's eyes go wide for just a moment before he releases a vengeful howl.

"Blaze Release: Black Arrow of the Sun God!" he screams out, bloody tears flowing from his eyes as he adds his Amaterasu flames onto one massive crossbow bolt.

As the blue chakra beam clashes with the black and purple bolt a brilliant white light engulfs the battlefield.

The brilliant light blinds them for just a moment, in that instant Jin's attack tears through the chakra construct, through the black flames, and slams into the head of Sasuke's Susanoo.

Thankfully for the Uchiha, he was in the torso.

"Impossible," he growls out while seeing the damage to his new technique.

As he looks back to the battlefield he sees Jin already launched himself directly at the Susanoo aiming to grab Sasuke out of it.

With lightning-fast reactions he swings the massive chakra sword in his left hand at the man, Jin only raises a single hand to block it while holding a palm out to grab Sasuke.

'Gakido' the chakra blade bends and twists as it's absorbed into his barrier.

Sasuke stares directly at Jin and activates his left eye once more.

"Amaterasu!" A desperate cry, the black flames appear on Jin's face for only a moment before the barrier absorbs them too.

Sasuke's vision is quickly covered by a hand grabbing onto his face, a vice-grip that drains his chakra and paralyzes his body.

The Susanoo breaks apart and both men fall to the ground, Jin lands on the man and pins him to the ground, keeping his eyes covered as he drains as much chakra as he can from them.

'Almost...there,' the new chakras in his body were finally balancing, he almost had enough. Sasuke's pained groans were promptly ignored as he closes his eyes and focuses on the energy in his body.

"Ach, ahh, fuck!" his pained screams come out no matter how hard he tries to restrain them. His entire body wrapped in anguish, as if someone were pouring lava into his veins he drops down beside the unconscious Uchiha and wriggles in pain.

All the veins on his body bulge and pulse as blood soaks his blindfold and runs down his cheeks.

"Rraghhh!" a minute of unmatched pain later, his sweat-soaked body finally stops moving. Laying on his back beside his unconscious opponent his chest rises and falls, desperate for air as the pain slowly goes away.

"What the hell was that... why is all this weird stuff happening now?" he asks himself, not used to being out of the loop.

Prying his blood-drenched blindfold off his face he wipes his eyes with his sleeves, his Rinnegan were unchanged aside from now being a deeper purple. The chakra in his body was now one instead of three fighting for dominance. He'd fully assimilated Naruto and Sasuke's chakra.

Indra and Asura's chakra.

"I need a check-up," he mutters weakly. With tired eyes he looks over at Sasuke and shakes his head. "Lord Raikage wants you alive, I don't know what he's like but hopefully he's reasonable..." Jin says as he moves over to Sasuke.

Sitting by the boy's head he holds his hands over his eyes, fingers prepared to make one swift, almost surgical action.

"Handing over a traitor is fine, but the last two Sharingan? I don't think so," he immediately tears out both eyes.

"AHHHH!" Sasuke jolts awake, grabbing his face and rolling about, desperately trying to make sense of what just happened and the pain wracking his body.

Watching the blind man struggle to his feet and weakly stumble about Jin shakes his head and releases a deep sigh, looking down at the eyeballs in his hand he can't help but think, 'so much nonsense over these things, at least your the last Uchiha...' before he crushes both the Sharingan.
