since it has come to this I had no choice but to counter but I tried to use good weak little doctor card for one last time by putting Joey behind me but the preps did not stop it seems these bodyguards are not from purple horn village because No family in the village would want to mess with village doctor out of gratitude or their future worries , almost 3/4 th of the village populace was treated by original Sam and would also like to continue to do the same in the future as not only was original Sam was the only Doctor in the village but he was a damn good doctors but these goons did not show any hesitation to show hostility towards me since the beginning.

But the problem lied in my decision weather to fight the goons with all I got or act like a defenseless village doctor either way I would lose but to chose which one is best for the situation at hand gave me a headache , there was a third way using the poison mastery axillary skill and acupuncture axillary skill but it would lead to huge miss trust between me and the purple horn village , ' who could blame them even I would not trust my doctor knowing that he could kill a person using his medical and poison expertise on purpose ' it would only serve as huge miss trust and source of fear between me and the purple horn villagers.

while I was deep into my contemplation( bitching) on how to react based on the consequence that would follow afterwards , both of the Paul's bodyguards were already in front of me one threw a right hook and other a left hook straight to the bothside of my face without a hint of a mercy considering that they were attacking a mortal village doctor. their attack caught me off guard and I could not dodge in time. I could feel the wind hitting my face as the fists neared my face , each fist had about 300 pounds of force within them adding up to 600 pounds enough to burst open a mortals head , a average 1st level Ki Disciple without any Battle arts has a total force of 50 pounds in his fist while it increases with another 50 pounds for every other minor realm gained so, me being a 4th level Ki Disciple I had a total of 200 pounds of force within my punch bringing my defense some where near 200 pounds it could have been more but I didn't have any Defense Battle arts so I would have to use Soul Brun to increase my defense to bare the both of the punches to my face.

as I was about to activate Soul Burn to reinforce my defenses , I felt two projectile aimed from behind me as these projectiles passed by me missing both my ears by a centimeter forming a beeline to the fists in front of my face. as the projectiles passed by me with my enhanced eyesight I could see that they were mere small normal rocks , as soon as the projectiles meet the fists the fists bended sideways in a abnormal and inhumane angles with the two bodyguards being thrown back while they bawled unrestrainedly in pain and despair seeing their wrist bend in inhumane angle as they rolled on the ground.

everybody watching including me , fatty Joe and Paul Jr stood there dumbfounded seeing Paul's goons roll on the ground as they groaned in despair and enormous pain. everybody present here was below 3rd level Ki Disciple except for the bodyguards so nobody saw actually what happened instead all they saw little Doctor Sam break the goons arms without even lifting a finger and were shell shocked , even I wouldn't have seen what actually took place if not for my enhanced eyesight soon all of us present were awakened from over shocked state by a vibrant but firm voice

" You fiend bull filths really don't know your place , trying to kill our village doctor are you guys really tried of living if not for the envoy from the city asking to spare your village last time all your village men be it old or young would be sold to the valley mines and women to the city brothel as slaves"

I turned my head to see the source of voice it was the village elder , slaughter warden Tom Donavan. he stood there with his hands behind his back and his long hairs floating with the soft wind looking heroic with is old and wrinkled yet handsome face when our eyes meet he gave me a nod then his gaze turned towards the fiend bull goons and said

" if you still do not scram this from village within 10 seconds do not blame this old man for taking your life's by the slip of his hands. "

turns out they were the fiend bull goons so now I see why they showed hostility and did not show any hesitation to use full force while attacking me they planed to kill me since the very beginning.

hearing the elders warning the goons got up on their feets haphazardly to find the nearest village exit and make themselves scarce. but they were stopped by a voice

" hold it , with that rate of bleeding you guys won't make it out there in the mountains even if you guys are elite 6th level Ki Disciple , let me treat you. " I said apparently even after being heavily criticized by the village elders and residents, original Sam gave treatment to all the Fiend Bull village war prisoners caught a year ago when Fiend Bull village attacked Purple horn village.

the goons stopped hearing me then they glanced at the elder Tom for his approval , I thought they will be grateful towards me for trying to save their lives or being crippled for rest of their life's but looks like the people here only appreciate strength as they did not even glance towards me let alone show gratitude.

the village elder Tom glanced at them for a breath and looked at me while nodding his head and said

" that's the little village doctor I know , I was really worried seeing you slaughter the rabbits left and right with out a shred of little Doctor mercy I know I was really worried that your near die experience few days ago really killed our old doctor and gave birth to new and merciless doctor Sam. "

I thought the elder would be pissed for acting on my own for stopping the fiend bull goons to treat their wounds while he clearly stated the goons to scram from the village but he looks like the original Sam has pulled this stunt numerous times.

" thank you elder for your care , like I said I just wanted to reveal some stress nothing much. thank you elder Tom for saving my life once again " I said nodding at elder Tom's nod. with the elders permission the fiend bull goons came to me for treatment.

I started to treat the goons by aligning their broken bones, the goons groaned as I fixed back the broken bones I made it more painful than it should be while aligning the broken bones , come on I was no saint I was just acting as saint so I made sure I returned all I owned to this two goons with a interest of messing with their manly-hood , let just say they can't use their sons for nothing but peeing anything else was a no no .. . I am really glad that memory eater allowed me to learn acupuncture , chiropractory and poison mastery , even though I do not like treating patients I like this part and satisfying women.

I searched for Paul Jr in the crowd but it seems somehow he managed to escape my sights and hid in his Rathole of a Inn seeing elder Tom interfere.

I really felt safe in the village considering this as my home truf and all but this experience with Paul Jr and his goons really opened my eyes that unless I am strong enough I'm not safe even in my home in this world.
