I ran towards Joey who was unconsciously struggling hard to get back on his feet while mumbling

I could not quite make out what Joey was mumbling but I was sure it was something about Jasmine , hearing my voice he stopped struggling to get up but his mumbling became faster and louder. it said something about Jasmine being abducted.

I scanned through Joey's injuries he had 5 broken ribs along with a broken coller bone and broken right arm , shoulder , thigh bone ,hip.. with these injuries it is hard to believe that Joey made it till my place because even though the injuries were made to avoid the vital organs , veins and internal injuries it were done by a professional only to inflect maximum pain and immobilize him. who ever did this was a efficient torturer. got to give it to Joey if not for his will power I bet he would never make it here , this is a new side to Joey no when it came to friends and family fatty was always extra motivated.

Joey was still mumbling about Jasmine being abducted , I knew he was feeling huge pain unconsciously because of his injuries so using my high level axillary skill Anesthesiologist I sedated Joey's body completely below his neck and used my 13 zodiac acupuncture technique to stop his bleeding and joined the broken bones back together , afterwards I applied original Sam's special concocted medical paste all over Joey's wounds and bandaged him like a mummy. finally I made Joey swallow a 1st tier healing medicinal pill given to original Sam by previous village doctor Brian before Brian succumbed to his illness.

it took me about 10 minutes to treat Joey's wounds to a stable condition and I finally noticed that the room was awfully quite as the trio Aaron , elder Tom and Mrs Donavan were nowhere to be seen It seems that while i was busy dealing with Joey's injuries Aaron and elder Tom after hearing that Jasmine was abducted they rushed towards Jasmine's home the crime scene and Mrs Donavan went to inform the village head and the Bertram family. later seeing that Joey was stable and the pain in his body was near to none because of the sedation , I used my 13 zodiac acupuncture technique to awaken unconscious fatty to get a clear picture of what happened .

" umh!! ... .. " Joey moaned softly as he regained conscious, he slowly opened his eyes and said "am I in heaven .. . Sammy why are you here why does heaven have same appearance like you room .. .Ah! Sammy I can't feel my body bellow my neck Sammy I can't move do not tell me this is hell ..Ah ! "

" fatty quite playing around tell me what happened at Jasmine's place " I said

" quike Sammy we need to help Jasmine , two robed men abducted her. ah! Sammy why can't I move my body " shouted Joey

" calm down Joey , uncle Aaron and elder Tom are on there way to Jasmine's place and Mrs Donavan is informing the village head and the Bertram family , they will find her soon. you can not feel your body because I have sedated your body to ease with your pain. now calm down and tell me what actually happened and who were those robed men you speak of." I said.

" oh , I see . when I reached ... . " Joey calm down after hearing my explanation and started to narrate everything that happened from the beginning.

mean while at Jasmine's place , Aaron and elder Tom were snooping around to get a clear picture of what happened and where were the abductors taking Jasmine.

" looks like there were two men and one woman. both men are in their late forties and I guess the woman is Jasmine , I can see that Jasmine went with them willingly. I think they threatened her with fatty Joe's life. umh! " deduced Aaron seeing the foot steps left behind the abductors.

' being able to tell all this just by watching the foot step , nothing less can be expected of the village's Ex hunting squad captain alas!. ' thought elder Tom.

" looks like they are traveling through woods ,I think they are too confident about their strength and didn't cover their tracks " said Aaron

" they have to be confident about their strength if they are traveling through woods in the night" said elder Tom as during night woods was hunting grounds for the ranked beasts.

" No , I do not think they went too deep into the woods they may be camped out at the edge of the woods somewhere cause , no matter how confident they seem to be they can not make it through the woods while protecting Jasmine. even though Jasmine is a 5 th level Ki Disciple she still is a liability in this kind of situation" said Aaron

" come on let's track them to their hideout " said Aaron

" it can be a trap you know , from the way I see it they may be expecting us seeing how they did not even try to cover their tracks. " warned elder Tom.

" I knew you would say that damned old geezer , you coward always looking for a way out. like the last time if only you had stood up with me then she would have not died .. . you son of bitch are you coming or not. If not I will go on my own. " said Aaron.

" Don't bring up the past Aaron I had my reasons , try and think carefully with your brain do not let past and anger cloud you sense of judgement , they are expecting us even though they know that the village has six peak 9th level Ki Disciple. be smart let's wait for the others and track them. " said elder Tom

" like others would come to aid for a lowly prostitute , get real village will never dispatch 6 peak disciple realm for her. don't delay anymore we have already given them enough time. uncle Tom please .. . " said Aaron

" You should really care for that girl if you are calling me uncle after that incident " said elder Tom

" No I care about Sam , Jasmine means to Sam like 'she you know who' ment to me . I can't allow my nephew to go through the pain I have gone through correction am going through. .. . then Aaron tracked and followed the foot steps of the perpetrators as elder Tom followed behind.

Aaron was having hard time following the tracks not because they have faded or rigged with traps but the tracks felt like they were left behind for the sole purpose of being traced and they did not seemed to be faked , they even found some little bits of cloth like a trail of crumbs seemingly left behind by Jasmine for her rescuers. Aaron was totally confused the whole thing seemed fishy like the old geezer said , but still he followed the trail for Sammy.

6 miles of woods surrounding the village could be considered as the edge or the outer region of the woods . Aaron has already traced the tracks to end of the outer region of the woods and was now continue to trace inside the edge of inner zone. he smelled a pungent smell in the air as soon as he enter inner zone.

" it seems like they have used faeces of a 2nd rank beast to scare of the near by ranked beasts looks like they know what they are doing .. . " said Aaron

" are we still continuing ... " asked elder Tom.

" Yes , we are let's go I think their hideout is ahead. there is noway they would be thinking of crossing the woods just with the faeces of a 2nd rank beast . " said Aaron as deeper we go into the forest higher ranked beasts are become common. so, the faeces of a rank 2 at best should be enough for them till they reach their hideout.

" ok you are the boss just do not forget our deal. " said elder Tom

" geese since when did you become such a coward, what happened to the slaughter warden Tom I know " said Aaron

" life happened kid life! it's as fickle as a women one second it's in your favor next second is not. " said elder Tom

as they continue further in to the woods tracing the tracks after mile or so it ended near a cave.

" what do you think should we go inside , I do not see any traps set up ahead or sould we set up a Ambush outside ." asked Aaron

" sigh .. . this is not just cave kid it used be hidden pathway before you were born which lead to other side of the mountain , long ago merchants called it as purple caves and used this as there trading route until a bandit group got hold of this route. I do not no if the bandits are still here. whoever they are they have come prepared " sighed elder Tom and suggested " we should give up entering the cave if not the bandits it will be filled with ranked beasts and blood hungry bats "

" No we continue , I bet their guard is down thinking what you are considering old man. let's go. if we're in danger they too are " said Aaron.
