It was already evening when I and Joey arrived at my home , I brought out the barbecued three legged chicken that Jasmine had brought just before afternoon. fatty re:barbecued the three legged chicken , fatty really had inherited his grandfather and mother's skills when it came to cooking the barbecued chicken was really delicious and crispy after another layer of seasoning. the barbecued three legged chicken which was about the size of 3 pound turkey , fatty alone ate 2½ pounds of the three legged chicken like I said fatty hated to see good food go to waste. after having our fill we both sat in the hall rubbing our bellies gazing at the thatched rooftop.

" ah! it really has been long time since I have had a good meal " sighed fatty Joe

" .. . " I just sat and did not entertain Joey's small take , ever since we came to the house Joey has been spinning is words rather than getting to the point.

" okay okay I will address the elephant in the room but you have to admit the barbecue was satisfying. " said Joey looking at me.

" yeah you really do make a good barbecue but all the credits goes to Jasmine's secret sauce and twispices it ascended the barbecue to another level " I replied keeping the compliments to the chef at average , for some unknown reason fatty really hated being praised for his cooking skills.

" speaking of Jasmine what's up with you her and that bastard Paul Jr .. . I never seen or heard Jasmine bring home cooked meal before for you . " asked fatty Joe with one of his eyebrows raised.

" nothing is going on , she heard I was sick again and brought some food as sign good will and get well soon lunch. about the other things you first talk about what you are avoiding then I will talk next. " I said closing my eyes and resting my head on the headrest of the chair.

" You saw right through it did you , you know Sammy you no longer are cute since you are no longer naive innocent and gullible as you use to be .. . it has been almost 6 months since we last meet and you have matured a lot. " said Joey reminiscing the past.

" yeah , Anna told me you were busy trying to make a break through in your cultivation . I know it has been a sensitive topic for you so I didn't come to find you , but never in thousand years I would have thought that I would find you haggling at Paul's Inn .. . what's all that about " I said in a bit annoyed way , even though at first I just was pretending to care for this fatty Joe but original Sam had a genuine care for his best friend which was affecting me to care about this fatty plus this fatty reminded me of myself before rebirth, that's why I was feeling a bit annoyed right now.

" do not blame Anna I made her promise me to not to tell you otherwise that lass cannot keep any thing hidden from you .. . Joey stood up from his chair and bowed in front of me as he shouted " I am sorry Sammy for being selfish and a bad friend , please accept my apology Sammy. "

seeing Joey apologize I knocked hard on his head with my fist and said " now why would you go and do that for , if we are really friends you do not need to apologize now quite stalling and tell me what happened "

" I just wanted to let it out of my chest out there in open you know now my heart feels lighter . as for what happened my grandpa and mother happened , they want me to join the family business " said Joey annoyed-ly.

" you have awesome cooking skills so , that's great right! . unless you don't want join the family business. " I asked.

" No , I was sleeping at the Inn till I ran out of my pocket money 2 months ago ha! ha! .. afterwards I started to sleep in the village training grounds doing some odd jobs for cash. times have been tough but it was a good learning experience so , I can't complain. " said Joey while scratching the back of his head.

" holy Shit do not tell me you are the ghost of fat pig haunting the children's training grounds . . . it seem the village myth is not totally untrue . " I said

" which mother-fucker bs is spreading around that carp around the village , I heard it while I was eating at Paul's Inn some mother-*ucker even posted a bounty of 1 copper on the ghost of fat pig haunting the children's training grounds aaah!!" shouted Joey in frustration.

"*giggle*giggle*" it was hard for me to hold in my laugh some giggles escaped my mouth. seeing me giggle Joey impatiently shouted

" do not laugh its not funny "

" it's funny from where I stand but man the children's now a days can really be mean and don't know where and when to stop" I said

" humph " Joey just humphed to my reply.

" hey I am on your side . by the way do you know why your father claims you are a genius , man I get it for every parents their children are geniuses but your father took it to a whole new level " I said

" I did ask him , to which he said that his family bloodline has a certain type of physique and I had inherited the top grade physique. I tried asking further but he cut me off saying I would not understand " said Joey

" I thought your father forget his past .. . " I enquired
