8 The Dance

The next day, everyone on campus was talking about the dinner that our class had planned at a five-star. When Kesha came to know about it, she came to me after class got over and said, "I hope you are not doing it to impress me. Spending so much money for the class, I don't know what to say."

I move closer to her and whisper this in her ear "What if I am doing it for the same reason." She blushed like a little bunny and was so embarrassed that she wanted to hide her head inside the ground since all her friends were there too. It feels good teasing girls like this. Then I explained it to her that this dinner isn't much and she should be ready for bigger surprises which was true since I would do everything to make her happy. Then, I accompanied her to her dorm and went back to my dorm.

Meanwhile when Nevi got to know about the dinner, he was so annoyed by it. He had known that Kesha and me were getting closer and I had more money than him so he couldn't just show off his wealth and get a girl. He was thinking how to get back at me, that's when he realized that he could use his uncle who was the dean to get him through this.

Finally, the day of banquet was here. I woke up early and decided get a haircut before going to the party. I called a cab and got a haircut. Then I decided to buy a suit since the party needed formals, so after trying couple of suits, I ended up with a black one. The shopping assistant complimented me so I asked to take my picture. A man got to update his Facebook picture. As soon as I updated it, I got a private message from Lina asking me why was I so dressed up. I explained and cursed myself for forgetting about going to the gym with her. I haven't seen her for almost a week. Need to make up for it. I told her I had scouted a gym and will cal her in two days. After that, I called a taxi and went to the dorm to finally get ready.

I remembered that during our last banquet, Kesha had sung a song, I was not sure she would do it again. I called Kesha. She replied 10 minutes. I waited outside the dorm. She came down after 15 minutes wearing a full black dress with a deep cleavage, which was accentuated with her milky white skin. Her long hair matched perfectly with her black dress. We both got to the campus gate and then hailed a cab to the resort. It was then I realized that I needed to buy a car as it seriously getting annoying to hail taxis. I put that on my to-do list.

We reached the venue and since I was organizer, I talked to the manager with regards to our plans, I told him to start serving the starters asap and the food could be served after we had our little program in the hall. The program was nothing but getting to know each other outside of class. Making new friends, taking pictures in pretty dresses and drinking some booze. The usual stuff.

When everyone had arrived, I went to the little podium and said, "I welcome everyone to our batch's thanksgiving dinner party, I now announce that party is ready to take off."

Everyone cheered and the bar counter was ready with drinks. I saw the bar tender doing some flashy moves with the bottles. The service at five-stars is really flashy. Finally, I went to Kesha and asked her a dance. The background song was the Can't help falling in love with you. I took her hand and with my dance skills capsule, I was more than confident in guiding the flowing of the dance. When we danced, I had forgotten everything about what had happened with me, my last life, just seeing into her blue eyes , I didn't want the moment to end. It felt so natural, like she was a part of me in the moment. We moved as one, I pushed, she pulled. When the song ended, I could hear Mike shouting encore. Kesha blushed and hid her head on my chest. Well, I could say, this was the official start of our relationship. We ate the food. Everyone had really enjoyed the banquet. When everyone had left, Kesha who was still by me side suggested we got the Lakeside. So, I took her hand and we went to the Lake as a couple. Holding her hand, I felt stronger somehow. We sat on a bench on the lakeside. It was here she I saw tears in her eyes. I rubbed them off and hugged her tightly, we remained that for a long time. I knew I could kiss her if I wanted but I didn't want to ruin the moment. Kesha was my little doll, my love that never happened in last life, my obsession. I wanted to be with her at this moment. After we were done hugging when Kesha realized that people were watching us, I asked her if she wanted to go on a trip with me, she nodded. It was getting late at night and the win was chilly so I put my jacket on her then sent her back to her dorm.

By the time, I reached to my dorm, everyone was already asleep after drinking at the banquet. I was too tired after walking aorund the lake with Kesha, I decide to quickly enhance my physical attributes with pills, since it was less than average in some cases.
