Chapter 1 – Rhodes

Chapter 1 – Rhodes

Before it was formed, Rhodes saw people gathering in camps in the kingdom's land. They came from all corners of the earth, wanting to rest in that place after a long journey.

Troop leaders from each group are also preparing to stay overnight. Some had camped there before the others arrived.

One of them was the Moores, who had just arrived. He and his family are making preparations for hunting.

"Welcome." said someone standing in front.

He saw a shadow blocking him from the sun, then lifted his head.

"Introducing, I am the leader of the family army and the strongest knight. My name is Watson," he said, holding out his hand.

Moore accepted the outstretched hand and stood up as well.

"My name is Moore," he answered.

"This is a welcome gift from us." while handing over a deer he just got. His catch was hit by an arrow in the thigh and bound by wood.

"Thank you very much," replied Moore, taking the gift and giving it to one of his entourage members.

"Come on, I'll take you to some of the group leaders here before you head off to hunt." take Watson.

"OK," he said, patting the back of his ass.

They both walked toward a group of people who were there. Some prepared horse saddles, sharpened knives and even talked to each other. Watson, leading the horse, tied up his black horse and led Moore to them.

"Hello, we have a new group leader here." Everyone looked at them and warmly welcomed the two of them to join in. "Welcome, brother."

Until the sun went down, the people were still busy talking. However, Moore said goodbye to his entourage to meet his wife and her newborn son, waiting for intent.

"Arrrgghhh..." a voice screeched from behind.

Everyone screamed and rushed out, running to save themselves.

"Go!" he pushed her away, the face of the woman he loved with tears in his eyes as she clasped the baby in her arms.

"Help me!" the sound of screaming for help, hit by a big tree to hold his leg to run.

Few people helped him to survive, and others fled. One of Moore's acquaintances picked up the big log. It didn't take long for him to pull the poor man along.

"Bring the weak people, women, and children to leave this place!" Watson screams.

He found people running away from where he had been busy talking to the leaders' group and saw a giant three-headed dragon wriggling.

It is jet black; the middle head is horned, the other has no horns, red eyes, and a light cyan.

Its wings spread behind it, the dragon spat fire burning all around, the light cyan-eyed head spouted thick dark green smoke turning the front to stone, and then the red-eyed dragon emitted a rain-like liquid that could melt anything hit it.

The three-headed dragon's attack was so extraordinary that everyone presents panicked.

"Those who can take up arms come with me. Keep them from coming near," he pointed his hand at the hill where the people were hiding.

The gust of wind blowing its wings made the trees in the forest fall and break. The dragon was as tall as a towering mountain.

The troop leaders tricked the dragon's attention so the men could run for their lives on horses carrying swords and stone catapults that one of the party's belongings had brought.

The fire burned the forest and trees, and rocks melted in the dragon's liquid. "Waaaahhh...a," many of which had frozen into statues. Warriors, exhausted, followed comrades who had also been trampled to death by dragons or hit by bursts of fire and burned without residue.

The thick scales, like steel, were impossible to pierce with ordinary weapons. People stared at each other with no hope of saving themselves.

"Are there no more weapons in stock?" Noah asked, his blistered hand holding the only sword he could use.

Elsewhere, their family saw billows of smoke in the forest of the three-headed dragon seen from a high hill.

"Father!" the sound of women's sobs was heard. Moore's wife and son embraced each other.

"Hikss..."

Sadness sounded in that place.

Those in the battle stared at each other, simultaneously wanting to attack him as if signaling it was the last battle that could be waged now.

[Praang]

The battles were fierce. They were no match for the dragons, the majestic creatures that could be easily defeated by ordinary humans who had no strength relying only on simple weapons.

[Doom]

When the fight occurred, one of the army leaders, Bedros, saw a small child hugging his chest from a distance behind the dragon. The white-haired little boy was wearing shabby clothes. He thinks the child was one of the members of the entourage who got lost alone in escaping.

"Hey! turn the dragon in another direction. There is a child." cried Bedros, pointing his hand at the boy.

Several people saw it and diverted the dragon, which was busy wriggling and stomping on the people below it, then ran as hard as they could because the child was quite far away.

He was right behind the dragon's back, choosing not to head straight for it and into the forest to avoid being seen.

"What are you doing here? Everyone ran to save themselves," said Bedros, immediately carrying the child without waiting for his approval.

It didn't take them long to enter the forest. Seeing the child in his arms showed no fear at all.

"I can help you and save the people who are still alive," he said, looking at the object he had been hugging earlier.

Bedros listened to the ridiculous remarks of a small child and paid no heed.

"So put me down!" the boy's orders reassured Bedros, suddenly seeming obedient and immediately putting him down without being able to say a word.

"Bring them," showed the white stone.

"Give each of them a master, for you use this hard stone" while giving five hard stones.

He had not seen the stones during his wanderings and was never found on the black market.

Inside there was colored smoke moving around as if alive. Bedros could not believe what he had heard from such a small child.

"Give it quickly! Open the seal inside using your blood and make a contract with them. The gods will guide you. I will wait in a safe place." he added again.

Those red eyes stared intently at Bedros, sure that what he said would work.

"Wait here," after placing it in a safe place.

Now left is the group leader who had exhausted his strength, one of them was injured and burned.

Bedros gave one by one the hard stones that he got randomly.

"Sacrifice your blood to make a contract," he shouted while scraping his left hand with the dagger he had just found on the ground.

Seeing the blood rushing out of his hands, he tightly gripped the hard rock.

Without thinking, they followed him; suddenly, a light came out from the mysterious object that made the hair fly by the great power that emerged from it, mixed with blood. The dragon also emitted the same light and was sucked in.

"Raaaauuuurrrgghhh." A roar resounded in pain. The magnitude of the dragon's strength made several people who were blown away hold it back while leaning against a tree. It felt like a huge rock was pushing against their bodies strong.

[Sriing]

The light disappeared, leaving smoke that surrounded the dragon's body.

"Bedros, make us as many hard stones as possible, then give them to Cleo to make weapons." Noah's orders.

It didn't take long for Bedros to grab whatever was in front of him, turning it into the same hard rock he'd gotten as a child.

Cleo received the hard stone he gave him and then created powerful and powerful weapons covered in Mana. He often sells good weapons and has never found hard stone material to produce combat equipment.

"Catch!" Noah took the weapon he gave him as arrows. Moore also got several hollow drills he could control using Mana to fly freely.

"Give me two weapons with opposite blades," asked the leader of the knight group.

"Watson! Attack his chest and stab him in the heart. We will try to slow down the space." Noah said, running towards the dragon.

They moved towards the giant creature. Meanwhile, Cleo still combined some hard stones to make the weapon his friend ordered.
