17 Year Examination.

Ye Zong didn't think Itachi would ask him a favour, he decided he would help him out with all that he can. He nodded and said "Go on, tell me what you need?"

"I want an item, the Hong Yue family have in their possession with your status as City Lord, they wouldn't dare not sell it, I'll pay for it by myself but I need you to make the negotiations." Said Itachi.

"This is not a big issue, tell me what you need so that I can ask them." Said Ye Zong. With him being the city lord, others would have to give him at least that much of face.

Itachi described the appearance of the Nightmare Demon Pot to Ye Zong, after which the two made their way to the center of the hall.

All the family heads and patriarchs seem to be discussing among themselves about why the city lord had proposed for a urgent meeting. After seeing Ye Zong coming in all of them remained silent and waited for him to speak.

Itachi thought Ye Zong needed him for something, but if he knew before hand that he was going to take him to the meeting, he wouldn't even have come here. But after coming here he got a chance to acquire the Nightmare Demon Pot.

Ye Zong was about to start the meeting, but Itachi said to him "I've already told you that I don't want to be involved in dealing with the sacred family, instead I would like to spend my time with the girls. They are currently still weak, I need to train them. If you'll excuse me I'll be on that job right now. Oh and don't forget to talk to the Hong Yue family." Saying that Itachi left the hall.

Itachi didn't want to waste his time on the Sacred family, they were destined to be doomed after today. Instead he had to make his girls more powerful, he had decided that he would teach them shunpo and some jutsus.

Shunpo (Flash steps) is actually depended on reiatsu, in other terms reiatsu is nothing more than soul force itself, just the name was different. He had already mastered it while training with his Zanpakutos, so he decided he would let the girls learn it. As for jutsus, he didn't know whether they could use them or not but seeing how he was able to use them with soul force he decided to give it a try.

After a month or so, Glory City had one major incident. The Sacred family which was one of the major families in Glory City was thoroughly eliminated by other families, it was proved that the sacred family colluded with the dark guild numerous times in the past. They were labelled as traitors and their family was annihilated.

Itachi didn't get involved in dealing with the Sacred family, the assets of the sacred family were divided among all the families.

Itachi also got the Nightmare Demon Pot in his hands, after which he asked his father to buy a large amount of demon beasts with fire, wind and lightning along with snow and ice attributes. Itachi spent more than 3 days to get the god level demon spirits he was satisfied with. He integrated with a mutated Black Fire Phoenix, while Ning'er was given a mutated Lightning Wind Dragon and Ziyun got a Ice Phoenix. Lanruo had the Shadow Demon, so he didn't give her one. The Shadow Demon was in a league on it's own, even though it's growth rate was less compared to the 3 demon spirits, it's abilities were absolutely terrifying.

Itachi also taught the girls shunpo, they were able to learn it quite easily. As for jutsus no matter how much they tried they just couldn't use them, Itachi was a bit disappointed though. He thought that they could use them as well but it seems the god had changed his body so that he could use soul force as chakra. He knew that with given time, his girls would get strong with their cultivation progressing, but what the girls lacked were battle skills and techniques. That's the reason he tried teaching them jutsus, but it was unsuccessful.

Itachi comforted himself by thinking 'even though they couldn't learn jutsus, they now have integrated with their demon spirits which would give them some abilities. May I should let them become more familiar with their demon spirits rather than teaching them jutsus.' With that in mind Itachi started to change their training, he made them train with their demon spirits more.

This made the girls have complete control over their demon spirits, Lanruo could now proficiently use the Shadow Demon to go invisible and also change it's form as she willed, she would now be able to even spy on Ye Zong without being detected, seems her soul form and attribute made the Shadow Devil unlock it's full potential. Ning'er's Lighting Wind Dragon was a monster itself, it had abilities for both long range and short range fights, Itachi even pitted people who would have to go against Ning'er. As for Ice Phoenix, Itachi could only say "if you can't handle the cold don't even try to get close to her." The Ice Phoenix had abilities to even freeze his Black Fire Phoenix, it gave Ziyun an impeccable defence and high freezing capabilities.

Even though Itachi was a bit dissatisfied that he wasn't able to teach jutsus to his girls, he was happy with the abilities of their demon spirits. Now he had to increase their cultivation as well as their demon spirits rank. Ofcourse he had the best place in his mind, the Heavenly Sacred Border with all the soul force in that realm and the demon spirits bound by the Thunder God's Meteorite Sword, he would be able to do it. He decided he would take there after the year examination.

The entire field and forest of the Holy Orchid Institute was covered with people training, preparing themselves for the coming exam. Many students with backgrounds took quite a few of Soul Nurturing Pills and Soul Concentrating Pills. The effects of them is still quite obvious. Some prominent family even managed to get one or two Soul Tempering Pills and Scarlet Body Enhancing Pills.

The effects of these pills was still rather obvious. This batch's students had strength stronger than the previous batch, which made the school's higher ups to be in delight too.

Wondering if this batch's genius class have anything in the 5-star Silver rank. Maybe a few would be able to enter into 5-star Silver rank. If one was to be able to reach 5-star Silver rank before sixteen, his future would definitely be one of the pillars within Glory City. He would become an important controller of Glory City. Generally, by reaching 5-star Silver rank, one's future achievements wouldn't be low.

In the previous batch, nearly half of the students would graduate and leave. The new batch will come in and fill the spots. Everyone is wondering how many people will be qualified to enter into the Genius Class. This made everyone excited with expectation.

Everywhere in the Holy Orchid Institute was festively decorated, preparing for this big moment.

In the institute's martial field, flags were swaying everywhere, drum rumbles were filling the skies.

The much anticipated year examination is about to officially begin. This, to every student, means a lot.

Every student from the Fighter Apprentice class, and Demon Spiritualist Apprentice class has gathered at the martial field.

Itachi, Ning'er, Lanruo and Ziyun made their way into field too. Itachi didn't have any interest in participating in the test, he only accompanied his girls to cheer them on. Lanruo also didn't have to take the test as she was already in the genius class, she too came to cheer for Ning'er and Ziyun.

Their group got many discussions started by the students. Everybody knew Itachi was powerful, they wanted to see how Ziyun and Ning'er would do in their tests.

Nie Li also watched them from afar, even though he didn't get the Shadow Demon with his Heavenly God Technique he had cultivated to 4-star Bronze rank. He didn't know how he felt towards Itachi, he took Ziyun from him but also helped in bringing the sacred family down. But the more he watched Ziyun was getting closer and closer to Itachi, he was getting more further and distant to her. He didn't like this feeling, he hated Itachi more than anything. He decided he would break them apart and take back what rightfully belonged to him.

Itachi didn't mind the gazes towards them and completely ignored others. He was quite happy to have some time with the girls beside when they were cultivating and training.

The teacher in charge of the test began to introduce the tests they would be taking. After which the students started their tests one by one, Nie Li and the bunch took theirs too, Nie Li didn't hide his strength and exposed his 4-star Bronze rank cultivation. Lu piao was at 3-star bronze rank and Du Ze was at 5-star bronze rank, though he did explode the soul crystal during his soul test.

After they were finished Ziyun and Ning'er took their tests, the results left all the students dumbfounded. Even the higher ups wanted to take them as disciples, to which the both declined politely.
