"Hmm, nothing quite like the scent of the alliance." Bian took in a deep breath of air. He greeted the people working at the teleport station, before leaving.

He walked with a hop in his step, on he went towards his house. Bian had barely taken a hundred steps when his phone rang, Manager Bo was calling.

"Hello!"

"Thank God, I finally got a hold of you. The three major family have been breathing down my neck." Manager Bo said.

"Why?"

"Why, WHY! Have you checked your account lately?"

Bian took a quick peek. 210 trillion dollars, was making money always so easy.

"So what, I can't be the only rich bloke around. What's the occasion?" Bian couldn't think of a solid reason why they would approach him.

"Well you actually are, apart from the three major families and some of their corporation you as an individual, posses the most liquid assets." Manager Bo said.

"How? the company has only been around for less than two years. How could I have surpassed those that have been around for hundreds of years?" Bian inquired, he was truly curious.

"I can't say too much on the phone but it's like this;

From the moment you bought the echo geckos, you installed the best equipment already. The singers have signed a contract, and they are quite satisfied with it even now.

Unlike other businesses across the alliance, you don't have to keep pumping in money. Your initial startup was all it took. Other companies might earn more than you, but they have to consider things such as maintenance and raw materials.

You don't send money back into the business but keep collecting from it. Of course you would be the richest." Manager Bo concluded.

In the alliance, musicians didn't require much money to start or continue their enterprise. The uniqueness of their songs would determine their success.

"So when do I meet them?" Bian asked.

"I can schedule the meeting for a week from now, they are currently near planet daylight. It will take four days of travel at most to reach them" Manager Bo and Bian exchanged farewells.

"So I have less than three days to relax." Bian said with a frustrated scatter of his hair. He browsed the skynet as he went home, nothing major concerning him had occurred.

A Mystery Island appeared over the ice lands, sacred-blood wings were needed to travel to the island. As of now, no one had cleared the island.

Bian checked his commlink, as expected he had many missed calls. Unexpectedly he had none from Han Yan or his family, he called Man Tian but there was no response.

"Well things will sort themselves out." Bian was not a man of stress. He had reached the front of his house, he heard laughter coming from within.

Without the usual creak from the door, he entered the house. His parents were looking at some pictures with Han Yan, all seated in the living room.

"Welcome back!" His little sister landed from the roof on his back.

'What we're you doing on the roof?' Bian gave her a hug. "How's school coming along."

"We work with what we've got" She said in a playful voice, then she motioned for Bian to come closer.

Manwei Ran said in a whisper "If I were you, I wouldn't allow mum and dad to reach the forbidden picture."

She hoped on the roof and went into a dark spot, carefully maneuvering to her room. Bian was left pondering her words, he knew forbidden picture probably meant he was nude.

'Mom, Dad and Han Yan didn't even greet me.' They were right there laughing as some pictures.

Then something seemed to click in his head. 'Nudes, I don't have any nude pics, EXCEPT THE ONE MOM TOOK WHILE I WAS BATHING AS A KID!'

Bian dashed and snatched the commlink from his mom's grasp. Providence proved to be on his side, one more picture and his 'LITTLE brother' would have been exposed to Han Yan.

"Guess who's back!" Bian said with his arms outstretched, he flinched a little from the pain. His earlier fiasco had aggravated some of his internal injuries.

"Oh my baby! Are you alright" His mom came to check up on him.

'So now you care?' Bian thought with a scoff, he smiled and responded weakly "yeah, I just need to rest. If I could get some chicken, that would be great."

"Of course, just relax. I'll be right back." His mom went went to buy some chicken. She would have ordered some but Bian didn't let go of her commlink.

"You've scored a keeper son!" Mr Manwei said, giving Bian a thumbs up.

"Yeah, you also have a keeper. I would suggest you follow her." Bian's smile got even wider and yet more relaxed.

"Ahah! Honey wait up!" Mr Manwei Ran after his wife, they went to buy some chicken.

"Parents right" Han Yan said.

Bian "..."

Han Yan: "I didn't see much, but from the little I saw. You guys really are close."

"Yeah, so what beings you to planet Daylight, surely you didn't come just to see some of my embarrassing photos."

"Well I actually have something important to talk about. Coincidentally also on family."

Bian didn't interrupt her, Han Yan gathered her thought for a moment before she resumed speaking.

"Turns out I'm the grand daughter of godslayer Luo."

"The godslayer Luo! Overpowered demigod who single-handedly cleared out a shelter in fourth gods sanctuary" of course, Bian already knew this. It wouldn't be good to burst her bubble all the time though.

"Yes! After you got kidnapped by the bird, Queen and I went in the direction it took you too.

We didn't get far before a phoenix showed up, it was probably in cahoots with the white tiger.

After diving deep into the ocean, we finally lost track of it, we also lost track of ourselves. It took us a while to find an island which turned out to be dangerous because of some red fruits which turned out to be.."

"Hold up, don't forget to breathe" Bian interrupted her, he could barely stay awake. He was extremely exhausted and didn't have spare energy to decipher words said at light speed.

"Okay, so to put it short. I met a Luo family member on another island, one thing led to another and boom I figured this out."

"You dodged the falsified sky sutra didn't you?" Bian came to this conclusion simply because if she didn't, the Luo family wouldn't have paid any attention to her.

"Yes, I can feel a certain calling. My super body reacted crazily to the sutra, I must learn it" Han Yan basically had flames in her eyes as she spoke, the fire of determination.

Bian gave her a hug, she didn't resist his embrace. A sneaky teenager emerged from the shadows.

"Get a room you two!" Manwei Ran said before setting the dining table. "Mom and Dad are back, let's eat."

Bian and Han Yan were to thick skinned to blush, they helped her set up the table. Mrs Manwei had already prepared dinner, they ate heartily and devoured the chicken drumsticks and wings as desert.

Han Yan was playing with Manwei Ran, while Mr and Mrs Manwei did the dishes. Bian went up to his room, and got the rest he deserves. He slept for two days straight, his body healed itself to near perfection during his rest thanks to jadeskin and his high fitness.

Han Yan informed him that she would be leaving today. She had one more piece of information to deliver before she left.

"You're going so soon?" Bian asked, they didn't get to spend much time together.

"Yeah, I knew you would be alright, it's part of the reason why I came to wait at your house. Another reason is because I have an important message from Man Tian.

His family has a scroll called the Tian Sutra, it had been passed down for generations. No one had been able to open it, not even surpassers.

Man Tian comes from a long distant branch family, he had tried to open the scroll early on as an evolver but also couldn't open it.

The scroll came back to his family as his younger brother tried to open it. After he failed, Man Tian tried again and to his surprise, the scroll opened.

The only difference between when he tried it the first and second time was..."

"Super genes. He ate an egg and got some super genes. This means the content on the scroll must be something very powerful." It was crazy to think about. A scroll that could only be opened by someone with super genes.

"He has gone to the main family branch, I'm planning to do the same. I will master the falsified sky sutra." Han Yan said with heavy determination.

She bade farewell to Bian and his parents before leaving planet Daylight.

Bian was left alone with his thoughts. His friends had discovered unparalleled techniques from their hidden backgrounds, he had no such thing. If not for his knowledge, he would be mediocre at best or dead at worst.

"Looks like I'll have to step up my game" Bian said casually, but a fiery passion lit up in his soul.
