9 Chapter 9: Teams (Fixed)

As lunch came along James and Ben were talking.

"Ben, actually I already leveled up"

"What! How???"

" I found an Ant colony...however I was able to kill them all except the queen was far stronger than I am right now..."

"O...I see..."

The two went and bought their lunches at their school and sat down at the table. The smell of freshly cooked food filled the cafeteria and chatter amongst the students was loud. Soon they were joined by Isaiah with Will And Austin.

Will started talking, " So, how is everyone's stats? I have the highest of 30 in dexterity,"

Austin spoke confidently, " Mines a 25 in Agility and Mana, "

Ben smiled and spoke as well, " I got 20 in strength and dexterity,"

Isaiah hesitated, "um.."

Will turned to him, "what?"

" I have a strength and agility of 40"

Will, Austin, Ben in unison stared at him, "What...your joking! That's got to be one of the highest in the school"

Isaiah looked at them confused and a bit embarrassed." O uh I Guess so huh,"

They all sat there staring at him in amazement. James finally deciding to say something, "It's because of a technique." Hearing this they all turned and stared at him like puppies wanting their treat. "....I'll Only teach you on one condition" The three all agreed without hesitation. "You can't tell anyone else about this, for now, we can't let others get this info at least at the moment. After they agreed again they went through the rest of the day anticipating what they will do after. As the day ended they all followed James and Isaiah home.

James continued on to explain, "Sit like your meditating but make sure your in a comfortable position for yourself" After seeing them sit down he continued, "Close your eyes and take a deep breath and keep doing this till your mind is calm, then try and feel the air flowing in your body"

About 30 minutes pass before they all do this. James then goes on to explain how to do the rest of this. It took them all day before they are able to figure out how to do it, ending with him telling them to practice at home and whenever they have time. The night came, and they ate as usual without much happening during this period of time. As the sun rose and the birds chirped loudly, James was sad he had woken up already and had more school... They both got up and went to class.

Ben smiled, " Thx for-" he stopped as his mouth was covered by James,

"Are u trying to let people know already man, chill"

"Sorry,"

The class then proceeded as usual besides Ben being a bit more energetic. At lunch James started the conversation. James looked at everyone, " We should all group up to fight monsters eventually, I believe on our own right now we would be fine if we're careful, but anything too much stronger than us without a team will be a definite problem." They all agreed on this without much problem. As they all were Level 1 except James who was only Level 2. They sat there for a while and Austin then turned and said "What should our team name be?"

James stared at Austin, "...why would we have one right now"

" For fun you know?"

James sat and stared at him confused. "Right...You have fun with that"

Austin Proudly spoke up, "I will,"

"..."

Everyone else started to bursts out in laughter hearing this and the rest of the classmates nearby turned and stared at them like they were insane, before turning back around. This in return caused even more laughter, as they spend the lunch enjoying the rest of its time. As it ended they got up and finished their day off. They sat in James's house for a sleep-over at the place. As the sunlight faded they stopped there practicing for a while, and they decided to play games for the night. They laughed and competed against each other and accidentally stayed up all night. Even though they didn't get to sleep they enjoyed their selves and got some training in, so they didn't regret it at all. Although they passed out until noon. Then they started cultivating once again. By the time they were done James was about at the half step of the tenth level of cultivating and Isiah was at peak seventh level. The other three had all managed to get to half step third level. Overall this was a good starting point for them as it had increased the three's stats by a bit.
