5 Chapter 5 (Fixed)

James woke up early in the morning and saw that the kid was no longer in bed. James sat up slowly stretching his arms out, yawning.

"Jamesss" a females voice called upstairs.

James sat up in his bed, confused for a moment before responding, "Yes?"

"Come on and get your food or you'll be late for school"

"Coming!" James responded getting dressed quickly and running down the stairs to eat. The smell of pancakes and bacon freshly cooked filled the room and he looked over into the dining room. A man and woman were sitting down at the table with a boy sitting next to them.

James sat down at the wooden table where there was a plate with eggs bacon and light brown pancakes sitting on it. Grabbing Maple syrup and pouring it on them he quickly ate the food. He got up and smiled, feeling satisfied, "Thanks for the meal ma!" James and his new little brother ran outside to get to school.

When they finally got to school James stared at the building for a moment before going inside. Waving bye to his brother in the hallway he went into his classroom and took a seat in the back corner. As kids filled in taking their seats, a black-haired girl sat next to him. He glanced at her for a moment before looking back out the window. 'I wonder how this will go.'

The class starts and the teacher does her introductions then goes and asks the students to say their names. As the students go around taking their turns, eventually the girl next to him had her turn.

"My name is Jessica or Jess, " James thought about this for a bit to remember it.

"Ok nice to meet you, and you are?" She said looking over towards James and causing him to come back to reality.

"huh.. o uh my name is James Morningstar" He said his full name with pride out of habit from the past few years of living. He forgot to not do that here.

The teacher stared at him for a moment before responding, "Nice to meet you James" The teacher then went on to talk about their plans for the day and some activities.

James poked Jess, "Hi, how are you?"

" Hi, I'm good, you?"

"I'm good "

"Guess we will be classmates for a while"

"Mhm,"

James talked to Jess all day until the bells went off and they left the building. Outside his brother came up to them with 3 kids behind him. "Hey bro"

"Hi, are they your friends?"

"Yea"

"Alright" James then turned to leave and go home while his little brother followed him. As they got to their home James sat on the grass. His brother, Isaiah, stared at him. "What are you doing?"

James stared at him for a moment, hesitating to answer before responding, "Just sit down and sit in a comfortable position." Isaiah did so confused, but without much hesitation in front of James. "Good now close your eyes, I'm going to teach you something. Take a deep breath in until your lungs are full then slowly empty them, and repeat this"

"Ok," Isaiah didn't question it much and simply did so. As he did this for a few minutes it became easier to do it and his mind felt clearer.

"Focus on the feeling of the air when you breathe like this. feel it out, and try to feel it as clear as you can. If you can, try to feel the air travel throughout your body. Keep doing it for a while until you feel a change in your body or you wish to stop."

"Ok brother," with this said they both got up and went inside seeing there mother cooking dinner, they sat down and waited for the food. Once it was finished and placed on the table they ate dinner with their parents peacefully. They talked for a bit while they ate.

As they finished there food, the brothers found themselves tired, so they then went upstairs and brushed their teeth after eating.

James laid down in his comfy bed after getting undressed and looked over to see Isaiah meditating on his bed. Seeing this made James smile a bit. " He's doing it more then what I thought he would. Well it's not a bad thing, it will help him in the future one day if he can pull it off.' With this, James turned over on his side after turning off his table light and closed his eyes.

James lied there passed out cold for the rest of the night in his bed, which Isaiah soon passed out as well. Not too long after the house was dark and the only sounds were that of nature outside. A peaceful Fan blowing the air around and an AC keeping the room cold.
