Chapter 42:Panic

James wasn't disgusted at what he saw bellow. fear? no. He felt numb, like what he did was normal. His blood felt like it was almost boiling, it felt like ...like ecstasy in his blood. In the back of his head thoughts were flying through his mind. Things like, 'Serves him right,' or 'He should have known his place.' James pushed the feeling down quickly making sure not to let it take over. 'What the hell was that...that...feeling of-...' James turned and went to the table with the phone. He tried turning it on. It didn't. James turned it over, and looked in the back of the phone. The inside was destroyed. James dropped it on to the floor. 'shit!'

James flew out the building and kept going higher and higher till he was above the clouds. He sat their starring up at the sky. 'I was reckless! ugh! I really didn't want people knowing about this, at least not for a long time...fuck!'

James sat their in silence for a bit before starting to talk to himself. "ok, sense these people the man mentioned seemed to know of me already, and they haven't done anything just yet....most likely they are taking their time at least. And looking back at history...If the public found out a fallen angel was just hanging around them it would result in a really bad way. Last thing i need right now is a (Holy) war. especially with my lvl being so low. Although i'm powerful one on one... if a war broke out...would i be able to even defend myself? never mind my whole family and friends..." James was sitting in the air at this point, floating. The only sound was that of the city bellow him and the wind for a bit before he sighed. James texted his brother something,

{Hey, just wanted to tell you I'm gonna be gone for awhile. I'm going somewhere pretty far away for a bit. Keep training, get stronger, form a proper party and make some money. Don't want to bother mom and dad for too long right? lol, well I'll try and keep in touch while I'm gone. Keep everyone safe.}

James looked at Roogle maps on his phone. He looked around for awhile before he found what he wanted. If James wanted to get stronger, one of the best things he can do is find a newly formed dungeon, and go there. plus it would be good for him to get out of this one city, and see how things are else where. Only issue is school...He can't just drop out so casually... and then an idea came to James head. In a dungeon he can make money from killing monsters. And gold is not so easily come across just yet as people are still just getting around to learning stuff(Him included). The only people right now who have a good amount of it at all, would be the adults who started guilds and such early on and hunting. He hasn't had many chances to do those things, due to school and everything else... James flew for awhile while considering many things related to this. As he can't just start hunting in a dungeon without thinking...From what he could recall the current highest level humans are around level 30. Depending on their stat allocation,skills,items,etc...They can be very dangerous for him to mess with for the time being. Although he doesn't desire to mess with them anyways he should still be careful.

Although most people who are out leveling and such range in the 10-20 area, those above that are people he can't fight head on if needed. As hes at level 11 right now, hes probably at max power capable of what a level 15 or 16 is able to do on their own. But his unholy magic could probably reach a level 20 skill power at level 1 from what hes seen.

James arrived in some woods next to a nice little coastal town. James walked around looking for a place to stay for the time being. Walking down the streets their were small stores and many houses around. To his right was the ocean and some docks. James eventually came across a hotel to stay at by the water. James went inside and walked down a hallway, up to the reception desk. He put down some money and asked for a room for one. The lady behind the desk gave him a key, and he went up to the second floor, into his room. James got undressed and laid on his bed. In the room there was a closet, a carpet in the center, a desk with a computer, and in front of the bed was a big TV. Next to the bed their was also a small window with curtains.

James went to sleep before doing anything as flying was pretty tiring for him when its long periods of time. The bed was soft, and comfy.

[3:00 pm]

James woke up, yawning he laid there. The bed felt so comfy he didn't want to get up. Sadly, he had many things to do, so sitting around wasn't a option. James got dressed again and went outside. Walking around town a lot of people were walking as well. Some young kids, other older people. He walked down to the water and followed the coast line up till there was a cave in the side of a hill. James walked into it.
